5 Superstars MVP Could Manage in the WWE Today

Since making an appearance at this year’s Royal Rumble PPV only a couple of months back former United States champion and noughties favourite MVP has made several showings on Monday night. Admittedly his appearances have consisted of MVP receiving an ass-kicking there was in fact a point made a couple of weeks back during a segment with Drew McIntyre that had fans wondering whether or not a manging role would be ideal for MVP and if so just who would make for the perfect porterage?  McIntyre may have declined the offer of a manager in the form of MVP, but could there be a perfect match awaiting the returning superstar and could that pairing result in something very interesting and entertaining indeed?

Cedric Alexander

The former Cruiserweight classic competitor Cedric Alexander is most certainly going down as one of the most underrated and underutilized superstars in the company today. A fan favourite amongst those of the NXT universe Alexander hasn’t found the same connection with main roster audiences and has fallen into the background massively! Despite his phenomenal talent and athletic abilities the fact that he is one of the best and most exciting wrestlers on the roster today is going unnoticed and that’s due to being overshadowed and having a character that doesn’t standout, especially amongst such a competitive division. Of course, sending Alexander back to NXT does appear to be the best option moving forward but what the WWE need to look at is possible character changes for this former Cruiserweight champion and a pairing with MVP could provide exactly that! The experience and attitude of MVP is something Cedric is sure to benefit from having at his side. An angle seeing MVP looking to show Alexander he could be so much better is sure to create a fresh new set up for the young star and create a completely new direction that could open him to bigger things.

Bayley

I have to admit that I haven’t had an interest in anything Bayley has done probably since her time in NXT. Whiled she has had some amazing moments on the main roster there is nothing that truly standouts that I can think of on the top of my head. Her heel turn while made sense hasn’t worked and her character has become extremely stale and boring and there is a clear lack of interest in her championship reign despite its historic length. So far we have seen best friend, Sasha Banks remains at the side of Bayley but moving forward she is going to need something else, something and something that can push her that little bit further. Pairing MVP with Bayley and possibly Banks at the same time is sure to create an interesting and entertaining dynamic that creates a new focus on Bayley fans are more likely to be invested in. These characters have their similarities and are sure to bring out the best in one another with MVP possessing everything needed to show this new Bayley can work and be something great! This is the edge and that little something extra the Smackdown women’s champ needs. Not to mention an angle that sees MVP turn on Bayley to put all his efforts into the women he believes to be the real star, Sasha Banks, sets up a storyline I would love to witness!

Ricochet

Things haven’t gone all too well for Ricochet and 2020 appears to be his major downfall year. From a devastating loss to Brock Lesnar that failed to do anything for him to a loss against Riddick Moss that highlighted how the company truly felt about him, Ricochet has hit rock bottom and it comes as a massive surprise. Anyone aware of Ricochet’s work knows all too well this is a man with incredible talent and potential to lead a new kind of era in the WWE. The company have something truly special in the form of Ricochet but already so many mistakes have been made and turning things around will not come as an easy task! Pairing the former US Champion with MVP makes for an interesting move. A deal with the devil kind of situation considering the opposite characters these two have to one another. Seeing his career fall to a devastating low point it would make for a simple yet effective storyline to see Ricochet agree to have the help and leadership of MVP and considering the meetings and connections both men have had with Drew McIntyre this year the story really does write itself.

Riddick Moss

Okay, so Riddick Moss has pretty much popped up out of nowhere. The former NXT star created an alliance with Mojo only to turn on him and become the 24/7 champion. The whole thing has been very random indeed but there can be no denying the talent this fresh face possesses. With the right direction and booking, Moss could be something pretty special on the roster and a true underdog but in order to get him there he needs to have that edge, a little something more and a pairing with MVP could be the answer. Again, there are similarities within the two men and their characters and MVP claiming to see real potential in Moss sets up a basic angle with great potential if the booking is right. Moss needs something extra moving forward and I do believe these tow characters would work very well together indeed.

Bianca Belair

In all honesty, I don’t believe there is a better potential pairing than MVP and Bianca Belair. Now, Belair is an all-round talent, she has it all and is certain to have an epic WWE career, however, her mic work is probably the area she is weakest in and while she isn’t poor when it comes to promo work in the slightest having a spokesman in the form of MVP could elevate Belair to brand new heights! There are striking similarities in the characters of these two superstars making their alliance feel natural and well fitted. While Belair is sure to go on to do amazing things on her own this little extra addition to her brand is sure to give her a unique edge and set her up for storylines and angles that separates her from the rest of the roster.

MVP does have a lot to bring to the table and pairing him with some of the young up and coming stars on the roster today could result in something very special and exciting. The WWE have him around so why not use him in the right way and get the former United States Champion involved in something entertaining and beneficial.
