5 WWE Superstars Full Of Potential

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well ans good! Last weekend I was sat at my grandparents house with no idea what on earth to write next for this blog.  A couple of months ago I had idea after idea and after pre posting all of those noted posts and writing all my SummerSlam predictions I was left with no idea what to do for the next couple of months. I have spoken a lot in the past about wanting to change up my content a little more and over the past thew months I have been working really hard to try and make sure I change things up a little. Recently I have been uploaded posts focusing on Lucha Underground and the British Wrestling scene and they are both things I am going to be coming back to in the weeks to come. Today however we are jumping right back to the WWE as I bring you a list of five WWE Superstars who are beaming with potential. This is a little list of superstars both in NXT and up on the main roster who may not have gotten their moment in the spotlight big time just yet but are full of potential and who I believe will eventually go on to achieve great things! If this post does go down well today I will certainly be back in the near future with similar posts focusing on Lucha Underground, TNA, ROH, and the British Wrestling scene as well as a part two for this! As always any recent blog posts will be linked bellow including this weeks RAW Highlights and Smackdown LIVE Best and Worse Moments. Finally, you can let me know who you think has the most potential in the WWE today by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Billie Kay
And we kick start this weeks top five with the talent who inspired me to write this blog post in the first place, NXT Superstar, Billie Kay. Over the past year or so I have spoken about Billie Kay a thew times both here on my blog and certainly over on twitter (social media links will be listed bellow). When I first heard the news that had be signed by the WWE a couple of years back I tweeted out that I believed she was going to play a huge part in the NXT Women's division and was a brilliant addition to the roster. Briefly aware of her work outside of the WWE Billie has always been someone that has grabbed fans attention and proven to be a talent with serious potential. Since debuting for NXT Billie only continued to show that proving every single time she steps in the ring that she is only getting better and has some serious potential to be something huge in the women's division. At first sight anyone can see that Billie Kay is special. Her tall frame and strength sets her apart straight away with her look still different to a great deal of women she shares the ring with. In her early days in NXT Kay showed her strength perfectly and was one of the first things that got her noticed by WWE fans along with striking look. It took both he and fellow Australian Peyton Royce a great deal of time before they got their own identities and it's only really been over the past nine months or so that they both have been able to start making an impact and showing their own characters and personalities. Personally, I have always been the bigger Billie Kay fan. Out of the two I just believe she has slightly more potential and her image is something I take to more. Over recent months Billie has continued to impress competing on an episode of Smackdown where she put up a good fight against Dana Brooke impressing the Smackdown crowd. She has since competed in a couple of NXT matches on recorded shows where she has been able to show her character and-and more of her in ring capabilities. More recently we got to see her take part in the NXT Takeover Brooklyn two live special where she faced off against new comer Ember Moon. Again, very impressive Billie showed great character development being able to tell a story during her match and work the crowd while also showing more of her impressive move set. Now, I have no idea why the WWE have decided not to push Billie. She is the definition of potential. She's the one talent who really does have it all and I don't doubt for a single second that if the WWE put more time and effort into her she could turn out to be one o the most successful women in the WWE of this generation keeping the NXT women's division standards at an all time high.

Braun Strowman
Any loyal readers of this blog would have seen that I have been talking a lot about Braun Strowman over the past thew weeks or so and here is again featuring in yet another blog post. Now, Bran Strowman is someone that I think it's safe to say we can all agree has some serious potential and the WWE seem to believe so too. Sine his arrival in the WWE the company have done everything in their power to make sure he comes across as one of the new faces of fear and one of the new big guy monsters the WWE has to offer. Again, all you have to do is take a look at Strowman to know that he is something special and someone who really has what it takes to be a big deal in the WWE. He's intimidating image is enough to set him apart from every other man on the roster. His height and weight makes him one to watch and one to fear with very little amount of men able to square up to him in the ring and face any chance of getting the upper hand. Now, I will admit that I was one of those fans who wasn't all too happy to see him arrive on the scene out of nowhere. I do think it's important that talent go through the process of NXT and while he was a part of the roster for long enough the fact he never made a TV appearance meant not many people were aware of him and therefore unable to know what to expect from him. Sure the fact that he was a part of the Wyatt family meant that the fact we knew nothing about him worked with his character but for me personally I just wanted to know more. Over time we got to see that in the ring Strowman really is a beast. Taking complete dominance and completely annihilating his opponents Strowman stood out and standing toe to toe with some of the biggest, toughest men on the roster on put more attention on him. I've also said it before that I feared the brand split would wok against him as he was separated from his fellow Wyatt family partners but instead it's turnt out to be a true blessing in disguise.  He's squash matches against local competitors week in and week out has shown Strowman to be a dominate beast and one of the most intimidating men in pro wrestling today. Again, Stowman is full of potential. He has everything it takes to be a stand out talent in the WWE and with the right direction and time I would love to see him one day work towards becoming Universal Champion at some point in his career. Getting him there will take time as he still has so much to prove but once you pit him against other big guys like the likes of the Big Show you can allow the torch to be passed on and if the WWE do go ahead and push him as the man that defeats Lesnar we may just have one of the biggest stars to come out of this generation.

Lana
Just like Braun Strowman over the past year or so I have written about Lana a lot here on my blog. There is no denying that she is someone I absolutely love watching and someone I love to write about. Since the moment she arrived on the scene no one has been able to stop talking about Lana. Starting her career over in NXT as Rusev's manager Lana has been one of the most intriguing characters of the past five years. Her managing skills have grabbed the attention of every single wrestling fan along with her striking look and entertainment factor. Once up on the main roster her fan base continued to grow and with more attention came more TV and with more TV time Lana showed more improvement and she just began to stand out more and more and more. Very quickly she began to show that she was easily one of strongest talkers in the women's division and one of strongest characters also. Over time the WWE really did do some brilliant work with both Lana and Rusev however there did come a time where things just went down hill. From the slat shaming to the god awful work between Lana and Dolph Ziggler there was a time where I began to slowly loose faith but twenty sixteen really has allowed things to turn around for Lana and we can now say that she is back on track. Making her in ring debut and competing in a women's' tag team match at Wrestlemania Lana is back on track and the future is beginning to look very bright again. She continues to work house shows taking on some of the best the women's division has to offer. This time out of the ring on TV allows Lana to grow and develop in ring meaning that once she does get back in the ring on TV she would have shown some improvements in the ring. At the moment she is working her character as well as ever and her storyline's with Rusev are back at being as strong as they should be. Later on in the year Lana will appear as part of the Total Divas cast and you can only predict that with her appearances there we can only expect her push to come back and for her to get back in the scene as one of the most promising women on the roster. Lana since she arrived on the scene has shown the world that she is capable of being a huge name in the women's division. Her look, her ability to work her character so well, her mic skills and fan base makes her one of the most promising stars in thee WWE today and any fan can see the potential she possess.

Angelo Dawkins
I really am hopeing that there are a great deal of Angelo Dawkins fans reading this blog post and therefore a great deal of people who share my love for him. If you're not aware of Angelo the twenty six year old has been apart of NXT for a thew years now and over time has managed to create a very loyal fan base. Working small matches putting over bigger talents on the roster Dawkins is still one of those guys waiting for his moment to shine. Over the years he has been busy working NXT live shows/house shows and it's thanks to those that he has such a loyal following. We have over the years seen changes to his character on a number of occasions with the WWE just trying to get things right with him. His worked as part of a tag team also but now finds himself competing as a singles competitor who with time is only growing with popularity. Every time he steps in the ring he is able to show more and impress more and now with NXT looking to be starting a new era full of new stars it may just be time for Dawkins to get his moment. He's a fun character with plenty to offer and show in the ring I really do hope that within the next year we get to see more of him in the ring and we got to finally see him make an impact in NXT.

Aliyah
And finally we have another NXT talent to close this week's top five, we have the beautiful, Aliyah. Now, Aliyah is someone I really have changed my mind on plenty of times since I first saw her. Most of you would have seen her feature as part of Breaking Ground where we got to learn more about her
and her up bringing as well as her journey in NXT. As one of the youngest talents currently on the NXT roster and working in the performance center Aliyah really has struggled to find her way. Having clear issues working on her character and connecting with the fans but once you take that out and focus on her wrestling ability Aliyah really is one of the most promising talents in the WWE today. We have only seen her compete a small number of times but what we have seen from her really has been impressive. Sure she still has a long way to go and a lot to prove but her in ring skills continue to impress me and allow her to stand out. Her transitions are clan and neat and come across on TV very well. She's confident in the ring show a great deal of attitude and skill. It's clear when you watch her compete that she has plenty of potential and has it in her to be a big star in NXT and someone who really could end up delivering and putting on some truly amazing matches. She does need to work a lot on her character and connecting with the fans. So far she seems to have zero connections with the NXT universe and with big big names and popular superstars like Billie Kay, Asuka, Ember Moon, and Liv Morgan she has a lot to work on and live up to but because of her age and because of the amount of potential she has Aliyah is someone I honestly do believe could be a brilliant standout talent in the near future.

And that is my list! I really did have loads of fun writing this blog post! I am planning on writing a part two of  this post in the coming weeks as well as a TNA and British Wrestling version so keep an eye out for those. As always you can let me know which WWE Superstars you think has the most potential by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.
