Predicting Where Nearly Released WWE Superstars Will Go Next

This week news broke that several WWE superstars were released just a few weeks before the new year and with none of the names revealed to have parted ways with the company coming as a surprise many are wondering just what is sure to be next for their wrestling careers. All incredibly talented and experienced the men named all have a strong future in the world of pro wrestling and still have plenty to offer and with the WWE underutilizing these superstars for so long we could finally be about to see a change of luck and all four talents used to their full potential but just where will they end up?

THIS POST WAS PRE POSTED AND SO SOME DETAILS MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE

The Ascension to IMPACT Wrestling

In the war between AEW and WWE, there are some promotions going forgotten or at least underappreciated and IMPACT wrestling is most certainly one that falls under that bracket. While there are so many options for The Ascension moving forward IMPACT makes for an interesting but very fitting next step for these two former NXT superstars. Their intense, dark and almost supernatural like characters match an area of IMPACT that shows them to be made for the IMPACT zone. Characters such as Abyss, Su Yung, Jessicka Havok, and Rosemary have all slotted into that are of the roster over the years and it's here in the IMPACT zone I believe The Ascension would be best used, best showcased and most fitted whether they go on to stick together as a tag team or go their separate ways. Not to mention the list of dream opponents is rather endless when it comes to the IMPACT roster.

Luke Harper Signing with AEW

Again, Harper is a man with plenty to offer. Skilled, experienced, diverse and massively popular with wrestling fans audiences have been rooting for him for several years now and this is an exciting time for the former IC champion and twenty twenty looks to be a huge year for him. Now, I’m sure that so many promotions will be after signing Harper but there are some more than others that could be very fitting for him with AEW being one for the list. With a roster full of talent who would make for huge must opponents such as Jon Moxley, Joey Janella, Chris Jericho, and Pentagon JR amongst so many more its AEW where fans could see the very best of Harper in full including both in-ring skills and his character work that we, unfortunately, did see in full depth over in the WWE. All Elite is such a huge talking point and the exposer is so well deserved for Harper and it's here where he can really shine as a top talent.

Sin Cara Joining The X Division

We have already mentioned that IMPACT wrestling is a real underdog promotion in the wrestling world today but it makes for an interesting new direction for Sin Cars. Talents of his size and style of wrestling genuinely are doing incredibly well in the IMPACT Zone and there most certainly is a spot for him there. Joining the X Division means Sin Cara has the chance to collide with the likes of Daga, Jake Christ, and TJ Perkins amongst so many to provide genuine standout matches that highlight him as a true top talent in the world of Lucha Libre and give him a spotlight to finally work in depth lengthy matches that put him center stage. Sin Cara has been held back for so many years but the X division and IMPACT Wrestling as a whole could at least give him a space to work memorable matches.

Luke Harper to NJPW

In terms of being able to showcase his experience and wrestling ability there really is no denying that its NJPW that could be the best place for him. This is where Harper can really take the spotlight in the ring, work lengthy matches and collide with some of the best in the world today. This is far more fitting place for Harper, his style and his personality and while it may not reach the level of or type of audience AEW may reach New Japan has a completely different focus that caters to a talent like Harper so incredibly well!

Of course, there are so many options for these superstars moving forward, way more than we have touched on today. From Harper/Brodie heading back to CZW to The Ascension focusing on possibly taking on NJPW or the British scene we have to look at whether could see a split there or not. These four superstars have been held back so much over the years but we could finally be about to see things turn around big time!
