Liv Morgan Teases New Project She Can't Wait for Fans to See ...

Liv Morgan

I’m confident things are only set to get better for Liv Morgan. Making her return to action after being away for several months the former Riott Squad member revealed a secret affair with Lana and while this didn’t have any long term effect or development for her character it got people talking and since Morgan has been on fire! We haven’t seen her work a lengthy match to date but from what we have seen so far it’s clear Liv is looking better in the ring than ever before and there can be no denying that once she is given the time to compete she is going to work some incredible matches! Her move set has grown and the new character work (and ring attire) has fans completely invested in all things Liv Morgan! There is growing tensions between Liv and the rest of the Riott Squad which hopefully results in a triple threat match which could be highly beneficial for all three women. We must also note Morgan’s performance inside the Elimination Chamber and that spot that left us all wondering if she would be able to walk again!

Keith Lee

Keith Lee, of course, had a brilliant twenty nineteen and so the bar was set high for this NXT favourite for the year to follow and so far, Keith Lee has made twenty-twenty his year! Capturing the North American Championship made for a career highlight for Lee and a win he truly did deserve! So far we have seen incredible matches from Lee including a must-see against Dominik Dijakovic at NXT Takeover and a standout one on one alongside Cameron Grimes. We also Lee confront Brock Lesnar inside the men’s Royal Rumble match in a moment that went down a treat with fans and has many talking of a possible future collision between them in the future.

Dakota Kai

One of my favourite wrestlers of the year so far has been Dakota Kai! After her heel turn at the end of last year a new beginning was marked for Kai and since she has been on a roll! Her momentum is high, and the character development has been fantastic! I’ve always been able to acknowledge how great of an in-ring competitor Kai is but honestly, I wasn’t sold on her or truly invested in her work until the heel turn. Since she has been genuinely captivating and entertaining with an early match of the candidate already to her name after competing in a fantastic street fight against former tag team partner Tegan Nox. This match while had a controversial ending has gone down as a highlight of Kai’s career so far and was by far one of the best performance’s fans have seen from her. Kai continues to work great matches against the likes of Mia Yim and more and with a strong allegiance and muscle on her side the potential is fantastic, and the best is yet to come for Kai. Are we looking at the next NXT Women’s champion here?

Angel Garza

Another personal favourite of mine at the moment is RAW superstar Angel Garza. This is a man who really does have it all from fantastic wrestling ability, athletic skill and bags of charisma! While early into his career the future looks incredibly bright for Garza and with the right direction and booking could be in for a phenomenal year ahead. Making the jump from NXT to Monday night RAW Garza has become one of the best heels and characters on the show and has worked brilliant match after brilliant match alongside the likes of Humberto Carrillo and Rey Mysterio. Garza has also formed an alliance with Zelina Vega and continues to go from strength to strength. I believe there are some fantastic dream matches awaiting Angle and storylines and bouts that are sure to cement him as one of the best all round stars in the WWE today. Garza has had great direction already and the WWE so far have got it all right him.

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair has been on fire for a while now! She’s always had fantastic potential and the WWE have always been able to spot that but twenty-twenty is shaping up to quite possibly be her best to date. Kick-starting the year with a phenomenal performance inside the Royal Rumble match she made history and one heck of an impact! Her performance on the night was noted as one of if not the best in the women’s Rumble and set her up for what is sure to be a great twenty-twenty. Belair has since gone on to compete in a brilliant bout for the NXT Women’s Championship at Takeover and has gone one on one with the Queen herself, Charlotte Flair. Of course, Belair has been making waves since arriving in the WWE but the performance she has already this year must be noted and the next few months ahead look to be very strong indeed.
Since this post was pre-written Belair has also joined Monday night RAW.

Drew Gulak

The last name I wanted to mention is one I’m so glad we are able to include, former Cruiserweight Champion, Drew Gulak. This is a man who has so much wrestling talent but has had to wait quite a while to really be given a shot to prove that. Two thousand and twenty is shaping up to be a strong and breakout year for Gulak who has been making an impact on Smackdown LIVE and worked a great rivalry alongside Daniel Bryan. The two went one on one at Elimination Chamber in what was a fantastic match going down as an early favourite of mine this year. Gulak looks to be working more of a babyface role at the moment and there is potential here for him to work even more fantastic matches and must-see angles. The WWE have a dark horse on the blue brand when it comes to Gulak.
Drew Gulak Might be the Next WWE Superstar to Leave WWE ...

There were of course other names that could have been mentioned today including the likes of Cameron Grimes, the Street Profits and Rhea Ripley and with such a strong roster overall the WWE are sure to have many more names make their presence felt in twenty twenty and so watch this space for brand new superstars to be making their way on lists just like this. This post was also pre written and an updated version will be available in the future.
