WWE RAW Superstars Who Could Dethrone Brock Lesnar
After retaining the WWE Championship against Cain Velasquez
at the recent Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia Brock Lesnar has made the move
from Smackdown LIVE to Monday night RAW and while his attentions remain on Rey
Mysterio there is great conversation regarding just who will go on to dethrone
the beast? With a stacked RAW roster there are several superstars the WWE could
put forward for a huge up and coming push but who can fans expect to see become
the next WWE Champion?
Drew McIntyre
It has been an easy
ride for Drew McIntyre since making a return to the WWE main roster. With many
expecting McIntyre to receive an epic push we are yet to see that take place despite
his popularity and star power. However, with Lesnar back on Monday night RAW
and a title on his shoulder once again McIntyre has once again been thrown into
the spotlight and has become name fans are mentioning for a big up and coming
push. Looking at the roster McIntyre is one of the most legit contenders to Lesnar’s
WWE championship and such a huge win and push have felt inevitable for Drew
since he made his return to the company. McIntyre has everything required to be
the next big thing and its something the WWE Universe has wanted to see for
quite some time, now the WWE have yet another opportunity to create new major
story out of this Scottish talent.
Bobby Lashley
There really is no legitimate threat to Brock Lesnar then
Bobby Lashley. He too is a returning talent that the WWE hasn’t used in the
way fans expected them to since he made his comeback to the company. An all-round
talent he shares striking similarities to the beast-like champion and collision
between the pair has been a popular talking point amongst fans for quite some
time. Now, while Lashley still isn’t receiving the booking he should be his
talent means it wouldn’t take much to turn things around for him and while at
this point dethroning Lesnar seems extremely farfetched and wishful thinking he
is the most convincing challenger for Lesnar and this personally is an
encounter I have wanted to see for a while! Not to mention Lashley is a man I
would love to see as WWE champion!
Aleister Black
Speaking of far fetched booking, Aleister Black is up next
in this list. Now, despite making only a handful of main roster appearances so
far Aleister Black is one of the most exciting and unique up and coming stars
with a lot to bring to the table. Bringing something completely different to
the table the experienced striker is an intense performer with an extremely
wide move set completely different from what Brock Lesnar is used to! A collision
between the pair promises to present fans with something new and if the WWE
truly wants to give fans a new top star and create a major name out of Black
then defeating Lesnar is most certainly the way forward. Representing a whole
new image in terms of a WWE superstar let alone a top talent this would be a
huge deal not forgetting that Black makes for a tough and intense challenge
for the beast.
Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens is a serious fan favourite. He’s a former
champion, one of the most charismatic names on the roster and a talent a superstar
who could very well be onto his next title reign. His new role as a babyface as
well as his recent work during his rivalry with Shane McMahon sets up an interesting
dynamic and very interesting and entertaining back and fourths between him an
Paul Heyman. Owens would, of course, make for such a popular name to see dethrone
Lesnar and creating that new kind of champion and a new direction for RAW would
be very exciting with Owens as the titleholder.
Randy Orton
The recent WWE draft saw Randy Orton make the move from
Smackdown LIVE to Monday night RAW, a move that he really did need and we can
now see a new batch of superstars awaiting the viper and a new direction and
exploring the role of a babyface once again could be on the cards as we move
forward. With that being said, colliding with The Beast is sure to come as no
surprise. The two are two of RAW’s most experienced and intense performers,
true WWE veterans and the pair are, of course, no stranger to one another. WWE
fans have seen these two collide before but what can fans expect from a new rivalry
between them in twenty nineteen/twenty twenty. Now, Orton may not be a huge fan
favorite to dethrone the Beast but he’s a likely name to do so and one fans
can most certainly expect to see collide with Brock in the near future.
Now, there are of course other names who could surprise us
and go on to dethrone the beast and collide with the man himself. From NXT
names to new superstars who could make an appearance but the names above most
certainly, top the list for Monday night RAW stars likely to collide or even dethrone
our new WWE champion.
