Five Must Main Roster Opponents for Toni Storm

As one of the most popular and beloved stars in the WWE today, Toni Storm is a young talent destined for amazing things in her career. Already we have seen storm pick up the win in last year’s Mae Young Classic as well as dominate the NXT UK women’s division becoming champion and making history. So early into her career, Storm has been making one heck of an impact but with the women’s division forever growing just what are some of the dream bouts fans want to see Toni apart of further down in her career.

Natalya

Watching a recent episode of NXT UK there was a thought that sprang to mind as I began to realise similarities between Toni Storm and Natalya. From their speed to their in-ring style, the pare are alike in several ways and it's clear when colliding in the ring together some serious magic could be created. With Natalya standing as one of the most experienced women in the WWE Women’s division today and Storm representing a new era in the WWE as one of the youngest talents in the company today it’s a true collision of era’s in the WWE. Toni’s style allows Natalya to show just how good she really is and could provide the former Smackdown Women’s champion  with one of the best matches of her career while this would make for an excellent opportunity for Storm to show another side of her abilities and take out a true veteran in Nattie.

Becky Lynch

As one of the biggest names in the WWE today, there are so many matches wrestling fans want to see her apart of and a personal favourite of mine is, of course, Lynch vs Toni Storm. Again, there are striking similarities between the two from their journeys to where they are today to their in-ring styles and I’m confident Storm could, in fact, bring out the best match we have seen from Lynch so far in her career. Of course, it’s a bold statement to make but considering just how similar the pare are in the ring, their backgrounds with submission-based wrestling and a more technical old school style this is a collision that would create sheer wrestling magic.

Ruby Riott

While we haven’t seen all too much of Ruby Riott in the WWE anyone familiar with her work prior to joining the company will know just how much this woman has been held back over the past few years. Fast, comfortable on the top rope, experienced, and exciting to watch, Ruby Riott is a superstar with so much to offer and upon her return from injury, I would love to see the WWE finally use her properly. Now, there are many talents who could truly bring out the best in Riott however, its Toni Storm who tops the list for me. In what is a clash of styles the two women with similar backgrounds and edgy vibe this is a contest that promises amazing spots and action that could change and shape both women’s careers adding a much-needed spotlight particularly for Riott.

Sasha Banks

It may be a while since we last saw Sasha Banks in action, she remains a major talking point amongst the wrestling community and there is no denying that there truly are still so many dream collisions awaiting her. Toni Storm vs Sasha Banks is a match many have been talking about over the years and it continues to be a contest the WWE Universe is asking for. In recent years Banks has most certainly been held back in terms of the time she has in the ring and the chance to show how great of an in-ring performer she really is. For years Sasha was dubbed as one o the best wrestlers on the roster today and with that in mind and remembering all the huge matches she has been a part of in her career, taking on Toni Storm makes for a match that has potential to go on to be a highlight of the year as well as their careers. Twenty minutes in the ring together and the WWE could truly see one of the best wrestling bouts we have seen in the company in recent years.

Bayley

While I haven’t ever really been the biggest Bayley fan there is no denying the sheer talent, she possesses. Throughout her career, Bayley has been a part of some amazing matches that have truly changed the landscape of the WWE Women’s division and with that in mind, I would most certainly love to see the current Smackdown LIVE Women’s champion take on Toni Storm in one on one action down the line! This is a bout that could so easily remind fans of how damn good Bayley really is taking us back to the level at which we saw her compete at during her rivalry with Sasha Banks in NXT. These are two women sure to play a major role in the future of the WWE and the WWE Women’s division and a collision between the pair makes for a massive must-see.

As we know, Storm is such a massive star amongst the WWE Women’s division and it's clear she will have a hugely successful career in the company! Colliding with some of the names we have mentioned today and more we as fans could really be treated to something amazing!
