5 Top Names Currently Signed to IMPACT Wrestling

In a time where wrestling competition amongst promotions is higher than ever fans are bombarded with content on a near-daily basis. WWE and AEW are the two biggest talking points in the world of professional wrestling however, there is a dark horse promotion that has been providing fantastic shows consistently for quite some time now. IMPACT Wrestling has had its fair share of challenges and difficult stages and while it doesn’t get the respect it deserves this is an underdog company that once you tune into you’re sure to be aware of the fact this is a show to come back for every week. Rosters are stacked across the scene and AEW and WWE are grabbing big names fast but just who are the big-time talents IMPACT wrestling have on their side?

RVD

Rob Van Dam is a true all time great. An ECW legend and a childhood favourite of mine personally he’s a man that can do it all and has one heck of a following. As one of the most experienced men on the IMPACT roster, he brings the veteran feel the rather young roster in need of. In all honesty, it has surprised me that RVD hasn’t been a name AEW has looked to snap up however, he is a fitting talent for the IMPCT roster and colliding with the young up and coming stars has been highly beneficial for those names. On the flip side, we are also seeing him work genuine entertaining content with a new rivalry with Rhino kick-starting at Bound for Glory. His newly found heel position is sure to keep him as a big-time contender for IMPACT wrestling and there is no denying his presence is massively important for the company!

Sami Callihan

While controversial, Sami Callihan is one very talented star. Full of charisma and fantastic wrestling ability he’s a skilled and experienced name that has audiences around the world feeling something towards him regardless! He captivates audiences and has been one of IMPACT Wrestling’s most consistent stars.  OVE overall is such an important element of the roster, however, Callihan provides true star power and while the WWE most certainly wasted and lost out on  a huge name in this guy and AEW could seriously benefit from his presence Callihan is a man that has traveled the world competing and found a near perfect home for himself in IMPACT Wrestling. Standing as one of the top stars of the company, Sami is by far a must needed name for the IMPACT zone.

Tenille Dashwood

Tenille Dashwood is a prime example of WWE having a fantastic talent on their hands and messing things up big time with that talent. While she had her standout moments as Emma during her time with the WWE, Tenille has been showing the world just how good she is since departing with he company and has become a huge talking point in the world of women’s wrestling. Signing with IMPACT was a huge deal and her presence creates even more star power to a knockout division that already feels stacked! As one of the biggest signings for the company this year she proved a huge point by joining this company and while Dashwood would make for a great fit to the AEW women’s division she has added more depth and interest to the knockouts division over on the IMPACT zone.

Michael Elgin

Okay okay, so I’m not personally a Michael Elgin fan but there really can be denying his talent in the ring. He may not have bags of charisma but Elgin has experience on his side and since joining the IMPACT zone he has taken part in several standout matches that have raised the bar and proved a huge point. His signing to the company earlier this year was an unexpected move but he has been an interesting and big-time addition to the roster. Elgin is a top talent who really could have gone to become a huge and important talent on any roster, however, his presence over in IMPACT is a big deal and is providing a lot to the company.

Tessa Blanchard

In my opinion there really is no denying that Tessa Blanchard is the biggest name in women’s wrestling today. She is forever raising the bar and has kick-started a new conversation this year regarding intergender wrestling. Putting gender aside Blanchard is a top talent and one of the biggest names on the IMPACT roster today. This is a woman who really does have it all and can go on to become a top talent and face of any company she chooses to sign with but its IMPACT where she gets to truly show just how brilliant she is and push the boundaries. It's here Blanchard is able to do the very most and given opportunities she just wouldn’t have anywhere else.

There are evidently other big names the IMPACT roster consists of. From the North, Madison Rayne, Rhino, Konan, Rosemary and more, the IMPACT zone is most certainly not far from top talent. The competition amongst wrestling companies is very high but IMPACT wrestling is a place fans should not be sleeping on!
