RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all good.I suspect most of you especially my fellow UK viewers are super tired right now after last night's four hour Wrestlemania spectacular. After months and months of building up, last night saw Wrestlemania thirty on finally go live and what an epic show it was! With a seriously strong card but a weak weak build up, the show could of gone either way but from where I was sitting I had a real good night. But what about you? With it being the night after, it could only mean one thing, it's time for the RAW after Wrestlemania. Quite clearly the best RAW of the year, literally anything could go down during tonight's show so I have a huge prediction post for you so once again, I hope you are all ready! You guys would of already seen that I uploaded my Wrestlemania Review and Reactions post earlier this morning and I will link that bellow so you can go and check that out if you haven't already done so. Before we get into today's blog post I just want to make a thew little reminders. Lastly, you can let me know what YOU thought of last nights show and what your predictions are for tonight's RAW by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria. Right, let's get into today's post.

So tonight is the night after the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania, and what a show it was last night. My review and reactions post for Wrestlemania will be linked bellow so you can go and check all that out if you want to or haven't already done so. Now, the RAW after Wrestlemania is always a good on and is considered to be the best RAW of the year. We can expect surprise returns, title changes, debuts, shock announcements, crazy chants, and a killer awesome live crowd. Last year we saw the main roster arrivals of Rusev and Paige both going on to have an extremely strong twelve months. We also saw, the divas championship finally change hands, Cesaro become a Paul Heyman guy, and John Cena getting the biggest "Bray's gonna kill you" chant you can possibly imagine. With such an outstanding Wrestlemania, anything and everything can go down to night and with the expectations so so high for tonight's live show, it's hard to predict what might just go down, but I'm going to try and break things down a little and take deeper look into what could happen during the three hour show and make my bold predictions.

Last night's kick off show saw two matches; first the tag team championship match witch saw Tyson Kidd and Cesaro defend their titles in a fatal four way against the New day, Los Matadores, and The Usos. You guys know I was not expecting much from this match and I mentioned how I probably wont even watch the match, but I did and I'm glad I did. These guys got everyone ready for Mania and put on and amazing match, one that was so much better than I expected. It was nice to every single person in the match up their game and put on a great performance. In the end we did see Kidd and Cesaro successfully defend the championships walking out of Mania still with the titles on their shoulders. But will that be the case tonight? For the past month, the WWE have been building up Kalisto and Sin Cara on the main roster as a tag team ready to take over the main roster. After defeating the longest reigning NXT Tag team champions, The Ascension, Sin Cara and Kalisto had a great run as the NXT champs, and built a huge following, with their Lucha style taking over the tag division down in NXT. With Kidd and Cesaro knocking off four tag team last night it's time the WWE started looking elsewhere for superstars to challenge the champs. Sin Cara and Kalisto are more than likely to make their debut tonight and possibly challenge Tyson and Cesaro whether that is or isn't a title match. If it is a title match and the fact its the night after Mania, I think it's a huge possibility that we could see the titles change hands tonight. Would I like that? You know what, yeah. I've never been the biggest supporter of the idea of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro being a tag team but after the months of them being together they have turnt things around, but at the end of the day a shock title change would be pretty awesome tonight and add some real heat and attention to the tag division.

Talking of titles changing hands, last night we saw three titles change and one of them, the first, was the Intercontinental championship. After what was an outstanding match, Daniel Bryan was able to climb the ladder and walk out of Wrestlemania thirty one, the new Intercontinental champion. The match itself was one of the best ladder matches we have had in years, but with such a busy roster and everyone needing their moment in the spotlight, who will challenge Bryan for the title, and what feud will kick start tonight for the IC title. The biggest possibility and the most likely angle the WWE will go down is Daniel Bryan VS Dolph Ziggler. Last night these two brought their A game and were the two main stand outs throughout the match, keeping the crowd on their side. What I find so great about these two is they might not be what the WWE consider to be "top talent" or "main event material" but these guys bring in a heck of a lot money for the WWE and they are two of the most popular stars in the history of the WWE. A feud between the two has been rumoured and hinted for the past couple of months now and so turning Ziggler heel tonight on the biggest RAW of the year and starting a feud between them makes a lot of sense, and would go down a treat with the WWE Universe. Another possibility and potential Bryan challenger is Dean Ambrose. As an Ambrose fan I can honestly say that I'm really worried right now for him. When you think about what he has done over the past year, you cant help but be delighted. He's had some of the best matches of the past twelve months and has had a serious develop in he's character, becoming one of the biggest stars on the roster. However, on paper, he hasn't had all that of a great year. He lost he's feud with both Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt and has struggled to pick up a win on a pay per view. He's been booked poorly since he's feud with
Rollins ended and has struggled to get the time he deserves. Even though he had a good performance last night, it wasn't enough and another loss just doesn't look good at all. But the fan love for him and the pure fact he is clearly better than what he is being shown to be still means the WWE are almost forced to give him a good run on the roster. A heel turn may be best for Ambrose tonight. If he does turn heel he's likely to feud with Bryan but personally,  I think he needs something new. With Sheamus set to return and Ambrose being one of the current biggest baby faces it makes sense for them to feud. Either way, Ambrose needs a seriously strong month to bounce back off.

Keeping on the topic of title changes, last night, John Cena became the new United States champion and even though I'm a huge Rusev fan, I was delighted with this outcome. Cena is the perfect man to restore credibility to that championship after years of meaning next to nothing. But what is next? With Rusev now defeated, the door for him is much wider. Now that there is no undefeated streak, he can take on multiple opponents and he's feuds/storyline's can be much much stronger and far less predictable. The feud between him and Cena is defiantly over. There's no point continuing the feud any more at all and they both need to move on to something new. Either, Rusev won't make an appearance tonight, or we will see a segment between Rusev and Lana where the former champion blames Lana and the two part their ways for a while. When it comes to Cena and the championship however, this should be interesting. He needs a new fresh challenger for the title and someone to keep busy for the next couple of months while he is champion. But who is the man for the job? Maybe it's Dean Ambrose. As I said, he needs something strong really strong, turning him heel and working for the US Championship (again) might be a better move to go down. Or will it be someone like Jack Swagger. Swagger has proven over the years, he portrays a strong heel and with he's current gimmick witch by the way he works perfectly, it would make a lot of sense for him to challenge Cena. Or, could we see a debut of an NXT star ready to take on the fifteen time world champion? We have all been waiting for Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn to arrive on the main roster, is this there night?

Last night at Wrestlemania also saw one heck of a divas match. Now, I was annoyed that the girls didn't even get a ten minuet match in a four hour show, but hey, they got a much better match than last year and than I expected. It's all about baby steps. There has recently been reports of the WWE making major changes to the Divas division and if the rumours are true then we can expect some of those changes to come into play tonight. During the closing moments of last night's tag match, we did see the divas champion, Nikki Bella, tap out to AJ's black widow and so the possibility of AJ getting a title shot tonight is really strong and the possibility of her winning, is even stronger. I'm not the biggest Bella fan, I will admit that, but I one hundred percent agree with them when they say that #GiveDivasAChance was not #GiveAJAChance. For the past three years or so now, AJ has been dominating the divas division and even though I love her, the attention needs to be put on someone else. The Bellas', Paige, and AJ Lee are not the only divas on the roster and not the only talented divas on the roster. What I'm hopeing tonight is we start to see some changes in what divas get the spotlight. If AJ does become the divas champion tonight I won't be jumping up and down with joy to say the very least. But if she does win, I'm defiantly expecting to see something happen after the match. Personally, I don't want to see the WWE continue the tag work with Paige and AJ, yeah it worked for the build up for mania and Wrestlemania itself, but I really do want to see something new now. One thing we are pretty much all expecting tonight is a debut, and there is one NXT diva we are all waiting to see arrive on the main roster. That women, is Charlotte. After dropping the NXT Women's championship to Sasha Banks, Charlotte is set to move to on to bigger things and to be fair, she has been touring and working with the main roster divas for quite a while. Expect to see Charlotte arrive tonight and if AJ does win, it would be pretty cool to see her give Lee a good beat down and make her presence known.

Finishing up the fallout predictions from last night show is all about the main event. You guys know I wasn't originally rooting for the main event of last night's Wrestlemania event but what a main event we got. The match itself was just insane and a typical Lesnar match. Throughout it, I was on the edge of my seat and when Seth Rollins cashed in he's money in the bank briefcase I could not have been more happier. Rollins becoming the WWE World Heavyweight champion was probably the best move the WWE have done in a very long time and finally showed they had listened to the fans. Tonight, Rollins will have a lot to awnser for and a certain Mr Reigns is not going to be happy. What the WWE do with Rollins, Reigns, Lesnar, and Randy Orton will be very intresting from this point. We can expect a boasting promo from Rollins tonight but hey, he's at the first person to be ROH, FCW, NXT, and WWE World Heavyweight champion, and the first NXT star to be world champion and the youngest also, he has ever right to cut a killer heel promo tonight. The most likely angle the WWE will go down is a Seth Rollins VS Roman Reigns feud, it makes sense and would be something easy for the WWE to work from. As for Orton, I'm expecting a feud between him and Sheamus. With the WWE wanting Sheamus as a top heel and in the main event picture it makes a lot of sense to have them feud. Even though I would still like to see Orton VS Rollins continue.

I would also really like to see Bray Wyatt in action tonight. I don't want them to keep him off TV
until he's next feud because it wont help him at all. He's loss last night did not effect him badly at all because of how strong he's all round performance was.

Finally, debuts and returns. Tonight could see the return of Bo Dallas, he was at Wrestlemania last night and competed in the Battle Royal, he also spent some time trending on twitter. What he will actually be doing upon he's return, I have no idea. We can also guarantee  that Sheamus will be back tonight and as a major top heel. Kick starting a feud with either Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, or Randy Orton seems to be the best and most likely road the WWE will go down and making him play some role with the Authority is almost certain too. Finally, NXT debuts. There are about four NXT stars who could possibly debut tonight or get a date revealed for the debut. They include, Kalisto, Charlotte, Adrian Neville, and Sami Zayn. We have been waiting for Neville and Zayn to debut on the main roster for well over a year and I defiantly think the time is right for at least one of them and the RAW after mania crowd will give them a huge response. If Charlotte debuts tonight I think it would be pretty cool for Ric Flair to cut a promo on her and introduce her to the WWE Universe and maybe hear from Charlotte herself and see her compete. I'm almost certain we will see her debut tonight. But what do you think. Leave a comment bellow letting me know what your predictions are for tonight's show or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.
