RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well. We are now only three week's away from Wrestlemania thirty one. I literally don't know where the time is going. It felt like last week just flew by. One minuet it was Monday the next it was Sunday! Anyway, it's once again time for my RAW Predictions and as we get even closer to the biggest event of year, the main roster shows grow even more important. Tonight's show will of course focus on building up all the matches for the Mania card, pushing feuds, superstars, and divas in time for the big show. With more matches making their way onto the Wrestlemania car, including, Triple H VS Sting, The intercontinental championship ladder match, the main event of Brock Lesnar VS Roman Reigns, and of course the Andre the Giant Battle Royal; with still space on the card, matches such as The Undertaker VS Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton VS Seth Rollins and John Cena VS Rusev, are all still in need of either being announced officially or being made into a thing in the first place. So with all that being said tonight, will we see a divas match added to the Wrestlemania line up?  Will the Undertaker finally confront Bray Wyatt and accept he's challenge? Will Orton turn on Rollins and the authority for good? Today, I'm going to be answering all those questions and more, making my full predictions for the show. Wrestlemania season is still going strong on my blog and the link to the most recent post in the series will be bellow at the end of today's post. Also, the links to last week Smackdown and RAW Review and Reactions will be listed bellow. Finally, you can let me know what your predictions are for tonight's show by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

First thing we are talking about this week is Bray Wyatt. I actually posted an article about Bray Wyatt and passing the torch to him. In the post I spoke about the storyline between him and the Undertaker, analysing the history of both superstars and what the future holds for him. I will of course link that post bellow so you can go and check that out if you haven't already done so. For the past two months or so, Wyatt has been delivering cryptic messages to the WWE universe, aiming them all at The Undertaker and at the Fastlane pay per view last month, he sent out a challenge to the man himself, for a match at Wrestlemania thirty one. So far we are yet to hear any response from Taker himself and he has not yet declined or accepted the challenge of a Mania match. Last week (or was it the week before?) we saw Michelle McCool (the wife of the Undertaker), instagram two pictures of her and what it looked like to be, Taker working out and "preparing" for something, however he did not make an appearance that week on RAW. There has been speculation that he wont be appearing on Live TV until the actual date of Wrestlemania, and to be honest I'm kind of 50/50 on this. On the one hand I think it's a great idea. Keeping him off TV will add suspense and tensions and make everyone anticipate the match even more. However, I cant help but feel that we need to see him make some kind of appearance before the big one and keeping him off TV will either be a really good decision or a really really bad one. This week we have seen the WWE upload videos and articles on the Undertaker listing some of he's biggest mind games. This could either mean that Taker will finally make an appearance tonight or that ignoring the matter is all about Taker's next set of mind games and he is playing them on Wyatt. Tonight, I would like to see some kind of message that the match will go ahead at Mania, whether that is some kid of message from the Undertaker or an appearance from him, even though I do think if he is going to compete and make an appearance on RAW before the show it will be the last RAW before Mania. I would also really like to see Bray in action tonight. Whether or not he is set to loose or win at Mania he needs some momentum before what is set to be he's biggest match to date.

One of the things that has been put centre of attention recently is the Intercontinental championship. You guy's all know how happy this has made me. I'm always talking about how now days championships mean next to nothing in the WWE, and especially titles like the United States and IC championships are suffering. However, we have recently been seeing things really take a turn for the better. We all know that Bad News Barrett is the current Intercontinental champion, but we have seen the title move from superstar to superstar with almost everyone in the picture for the title stealing it from Barrett during matches. Last week we saw Stardust close Smackdown when he attacked Daniel Bryan from behind and took the title. We also saw Luke Harper be put in the picture meaning we now have Barrett, Harper, Ziggler, Ambrose and R-Truth. Over the weekend we saw a picture tweeted by WWE showing all the superstars that would be competing for the championship in a ladder match at Wrestlemania. They included all the names above and had one empty spot meaning there is one more place to be filled. What I'm predicting will go down tonight is both Stardust and Daniel Bryan will go one on one tonight with the winner filling in the final gap. I have two predictions for this match if it does happen. The first being that Daniel Bryan wins, either cleanly or because Goldust distracts Stardust, setting up a retirement match between the brothers at Wrestlemania. Or Stardust will win because Sheamus makes he's return and somehow a feud between Bryan and Sheamus is set up in time for Mania. I think Stardust and Bryan could pull off a great match, given the time. I also think that there will be more involvement with the other superstars competing in the ladder match. Maybe Ziggler VS Harper or another tag team match.

Divas are up next, and last week we saw AJ Lee return to the WWE after being out of action for a couple of months. You can see what position she came in in this weeks top five superstars of the week by clicking the link to the post down bellow. So far we have seen her and Paige take sides, and last week on Smackdown Paige assisted Lee to a match against Brie Bella. The link to my Smackdown Review and Reactions will also be listed bellow so you can check out what I thought of that match and what went down with all four divas on the night. There are either two things the WWE are going to do with the divas for this year's Wrestlemania. Either way, all four girls will almost defiantly be competing at the biggest event of the year. They will probably either have a tag team match with the Bella facing Paige and AJ or a fatal four way for the divas championship. In my opinion I think the championship match would be best. We have only had the divas championship defended at Wrestlemania once, so it will be nice to see it defended again at the grandest stage of them all. Tonight, we will see the tensions between the four continue. A match up between Paige and Brie is likely, or AJ and Nikki. We could even get a tag team match. What goes down tonight will most certainly determine what will be booked for Wrestlemania. Also last week we saw the WWE take note and listen to the WWE universe and the Give divas a chance movement. We saw small improvements but at least we saw some improvement. Giving the girls some extra mic time and in ring time will be great for tonight.

I'm also hoping to see Orton finally turn on Seth Rollins and the Authority for good this week. Since making he's return last month at Fastlane, Orton has been teasing a full on face turn but so far we have only seen him continue to work with the Authority and small tensions between him and The Authority. A match up between Randy and Rollins for Wrestlemania is perfect booking and makes perfect sense. The WWE would be stupid to not put it on the card and as I said last week, the further they push the feud back, the more damage it will cause. So once again, I think tonight is the night for the feud to really kick start, that gives them two weeks to build up the match in time for Mania. We also saw Roman Reigns have another solid match last week. I mentioned before that he really is showing improvements and seems to be getting better and better the more he is put on screen. Tonight we could possibly see Orton and Reigns go one on one with the closing moments being the start of Orton VS Rollins feud. I predict another good week for Reigns as he's build up and momentum build continues.

It does seem that all eyes will be on Brock Lesnar tonight also, as the WWE World Heavyweight champion is set to make an appearance. You will all probably know that the superstar was advertised to make an appearance on RAW two weeks ago but after he failed to make a showing on the night, rumour is is he had a backstage argument with Vince McMahon. Whether he will have a confrontation with Reigns or be apart of  a promo with Heyman, the fans have some high expectations of the champ.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa is also scheduled for the show, witch I have to admit, I'm really really not looking forward too. And after a certain tweet sent out by Mick Foley in the week, is there a big announcement set for tonight?

Other things to note for tonight's show are; An appearance of the Ascension. We haven't seem the compete on either RAW or Smackdown for a couple of weeks. If the WWE have big plans for them they can either continue their build up on the big shows or leave them aside for a bit until a chance for the championships comes up. We have so far been getting a great feud between the current tag team champs, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd and The Usos, alongside Naomi and Natalya. Their are multiple options for a Wrestlemania match with the tag division. Either a triple threat, with the Usos, Kidd and Cesaro and the Ascension. Or a basic rematch between the current champs and the Usos. Or we could even see a mix tag team match that would work and be interesting/entertaining. It will be interesting to see what goes down in the tag division this week. We may also see some teased NXT debuts. The likes of Kalisto, Charlotte and Adrian Neville are all set to make their RAW debut, with Kalisto and Sin Cara already working many matches on Superstars and Main Event. Finally, Sheamus' debut is possible for tonight's show but I'm starting to think we wont see him until the night after Wrestlemania.
