WWE Monday night RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good! Last week we was a big week for the world of professional wrestling and the WWE were at the heart of the conversation. Not only did Seth Rollins return to close a monster Extreme Rules show, the WWE followed it up with kick starting the road to the Money in the bank pay per view. On Wednesday the company brought even bigger news when Stephanie and Shane McMahon took part in a video announcing that starting in the summer Smackdown will air live on Tuesday nights and the brand split would be making a return. The huge news sent the internet wrestling community crazy and all week long I have been watching videos and listening to podcast that delivered mock drafts, keeping me very very entertained if I must say so. I am planning on writing up a couple of blog posts disguising the brand split including a list of five WWE Superstars that will benefit the most from the new brand split. If you have any request as to what blog posts you would like to see regarding the brand split and live Smackdown let me know down in the comments section bellow. Moving on today's blog post and we are of course focusing on Monday night RAW and the road to Money In The Bank. We are going to be taking a look at what possible matches and segments could take place following what we saw last week and going into a little more detail with everything regarding the Money in the bank ladder match, while also recapping the action from last week too. As always any recent blog post will be linked bellow including last weeks RAW Review. Of course you can let me know what your predictions are by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

He's back!

One of the biggest stories heading into tonight's episode of Monday night RAW is the much anticipated return of the fifteen time world champion, John Cena. After taking time out of action to rehab and injury Cena is set to make his big return tonight live on RAW and what a time to come back. Just over a week since Rollins made his comeback and with both Money in the bank and the brand split on the horizon the WWE's biggest name has timed his return perfectly. But just how does Cena fit into the huge storyline's currently dominating World Wrestling Entertainment? This really is an interesting time for Cena to come back. Right at the start of a brand new era and so much happening Cena has plenty of options as to what he's return will bring. Will we see him added to the two thousand and sixteen money in the bank ladder match? Will he reunite his feud with former foe and current United States Champion Rusev? Or will we see John chase after the only championship he has never held? Throughout his career, Cena has won almost every championship the WWE has put on the table. All but the Intercontinental Championship. John is yet to capture the very respected IC title and with the Miz currently looking very strong as the reigning champion this is a story I would have no problem sitting back and watch unfold. We have seen these two superstars collide in the past and we know they are more than capable of delivering something that is somewhat entertaining. Putting Cena in the IC championship picture will do the title and the mid card division wonders. It's the best way to boost the championship to an even bigger level and as we saw last year when Cena held the US Championship he really is the perfect man to boost both titles and superstars. There are also plenty of new stars on the roster such as Apollo Crews, the Vaudevillians and of course Baron Corbin; how will veteran John welcome these new faces to the WWE?

Will Rollins make his in ring return tonight?

Talking of returns as we have already touched on today, one of the biggest shocks of last week was the equally anticipated return of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. Also taking time out to rehab an injury Rollins was out of action for around seven months and at last weeks Extreme Rules pay per view he made his big return closing the show and attacking the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. The following night on RAW Shane McMahon made the Money in the bank main event official and the one on one championship match up between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns was booked four weeks ahead of the pay per view. As the build up to the show grows both these superstars are out to prove who is the better. Now, we can expect plenty of segments and promos from and between these two superstars but I know I'm certainly not the only on in desperate need of seeing Rollins back in the ring competing and tonight he is more than likely to have his return match live on RAW. As we have already touched on today as well, since his injury plenty of new superstars have arrived in the WWE and continue to make an impact on RAW and Smackdown meaning that there are plenty of superstars that could easily step in the ring with the former world champion tonight on the show. Dream opponents such as Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Apollo Crews, and of course AJ Styles all spring to mind but we may just have to wait a tad longer for any of those matches. If we are lucky the WWE will give us something a little different by having Rollins and Crews compete in the main event with Sheamus causing a little distraction to push that growing feud between him and Crews. But like I said it's an unlikely one. Either way the development in this story between Rollins and Reigns will be interesting to see and watching how they are both booked tonight will be one to pay close attention to.

What's next for AJ Styles?

Last week officially saw the end of the alliance that is the Club and AJ Styles and so the build up to a monster feud really does begin. Now, in the dream booking world I would love to see Finn Balor finally debut at the Money in the bank pay per view in a thew weeks time attacking Styles and kick starting their huge feud that so many want to see. The start of the Balor club is something I am spending every waking moment of my life thinking about! If the WWE are thinking about going down that root than last week really was the start of that and seeing the development will be interesting. I'm expecting to hear from Styles in a backstage interview or in ring promo talking about what we saw last week on Monday night RAW between him and Gallows and Anderson. What goes down between the three superstars tonight and seeing how they are booked is going to be very very fun to see. Heat between the two sides should grow tonight and the momentum building for Anderson and Gallows should be something the WWE focus on starting tonight on RAW. This will also see the first show that Styles and Cena both feature on. Could the WWE go down a completely different root and somehow get two superstars together?

A new challenger for Charlotte?

The women's division is a little all over the place at the minuet. The WWE were onto something really good with Dana and Emma but following Emma's back injury plans have to change and to be honest I'm not the biggest fan. Personally, with Emma injured a big part of me feels as though they should have taken Dana back down in NXT for a while. Lets face it, we all know that she needs more time in NXT developing both in the ring and as a character a touch more. For the past couple of months it has one hundred percent been Charlotte dominating the division. Her promos and matches have been on point and while I do wish that the WWE gave her and Natalya more time in the ring during their pay per view matches she has proved to be a worthy champion and has continued to have a brilliant, dominate run as champion. Her mic work last week was done very well on her behalf and her alliance with Dana is growing. Yes, much prefer seeing Dana with Emma, putting her with the champ has added more spotlight to Dana and has given her the chance to really prove herself and deliver. To be honest, I don't know how well and how long these two will be paired to get and how it will go down but to be fair we do need a shake up in this division. It needs that touch of fire and hopefully we Sasha Banks will be back on our TV screen to give us everything we need in the women's division. At the moment there is no clear direction as to where the WWE are going with the women's division for the Money in the bank pay per view this year but you guys know I'm super down for a women's money in the bank ladder match. A one on one opponent for Charlotte should begin to become more clear and surface over the next week, starting tonight. Her reign as champion without her father by her side is going to be very cool and interesting to watch.

Who will be the last man to Qualify?

So far the money in the bank ladder match is shaping up too be a good one. For the first time in a very long time I genuinely look at the line up and believe any one of these superstars could walk out
Mr Money in the bank. Last week saw Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Alberto Del Rio all  qualify and with one space left who will complete the cast and earn their right to compete in the two thousand and sixteen money in the bank ladder match? Some believe it could be Cena, some believe Baron Corbin will find his way into the ladder match and others believe that another simple one on one qualify could take place tonight on RAW. Personally, I would love to see the losers of last weeks qualifying all compete for a shot and of course if there is any one of those guys that would walk out the winner than I think we can all agree that is would be Styles setting up something really perfect there to take place on the pay per view. Talking of the Money in the bank qualifies, following what we saw on last weeks episode of Smackdown I would love to see Ambrose and Zayn go one on one on the show tonight. They could easily put on something brilliant and it would one hundred and ten percent get me even more in the mood and excited for the money in the bank pay per view. However, we are much more likely to get a tag team match, lets me honest.

So they are my little predictions for this weeks Monday night RAW. I will of course be live tweeting throughout the show tonight so make sure to follow me over on twitter at @TezangiVictoria.
