Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good! Payback may feel like it has just ended but this weekend we have a whole new show to excited about as the two thousand and sixteen Extreme Rules pay per view takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The event will see Roman Reigns and AJ Styles main event once again as they compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and this time anything goes. Following their huge battle at Payback both Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon agreed that Styles deserved a rematch and booked the match three months ahead. We will also see Charlotte and Natalya do battle one more time for the WWE Women's championship in a submission match. And can Kalisto and the New Day keep hold of their gold when they put their title's on the line against former NXT Superstars? All week long here on Talk Wrestling World I will be providing you with full length, in depth prediction posts for every single match on the main card. As usual I will not be writing anything predictions for any matches scheduled for the kick off show as usual but I will comment on them in my Extreme Rules Review and Reactions witch will be uploaded the following morning. And finally, you can have your say and let me know what your predictions are for every match on the Extreme Rules card by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Throughout the past month we have seen Charlotte and WWE veteran Natalya battle it out against one another in the hopes to either keep or capture the WWE Women's Championship. We have seen them take each other on at live events, go one on one on Monday night RAW, and earlier on in the month we saw both Ric Flair and Bret Hart stand in the corners of their girls as two of the strongest female wrestlers in the company went toe to toe once again. However, in each of those matches Charlotte has been able to retain her championship with the help of her father but this weekend live at WWE Extreme Rules for the first time in her championship reign Charlotte will not have Flair by her side and instead must face Nattie in a submission match with Ric Flair banned from ring side. So who walks out as champion? Will Charlotte prove that she doesn't need her father by her side to keep that championship around her waist? Or will Natalya finally take out the genetically superior champion and walk out of New Jersey the new WWE Women's Champion.

Earlier on in the month Charlotte defended her WWE Women's Championship once again against Natalya with both Ric Flair and Bret Hart at ringside. Now, while things may have looked much more fair the champ was able to once again cheat her way out of a victory as the WWE created the Chicago screw job. In all fairness it did it's job in the sense that it got everyone really pissed off and it made Charlotte come across like the heel champion who will never drop that title. However, it made me so mad and was such an unpopular decision that we have to question just how well it was. It may have been more effective if the match was longer meaning that more suspense and intensity was created and the fans were even more invested in the action. I was very very happy to learn the following night that this feud was far from over as Stephanie McMahon booked a submission match between the two for WWE Extreme Rules and this time things really were going to be even with Ric Flair this time banned from ringside.;

I have to admit, while there have been some great spots during their past matches I have been disappoint with the level of intensity and how far the wrestling has been taken by Charlotte and Natalya throughout this feud. Considering their history the WWE should have given them much more time in both their previous bouts both on Monday night RAW and at the Payback pay per view earlier on in the month. Anyone that has seen their longer matches especially their NXT Women's Championship bout a couple of years back knows that these women are more than capable of delivering the match of the night and adding a match of the year candidate to the ever growing list. Since their main roster feud kick started the night after Wrestlemania these women really haven't been given the in ring time to truly amaze like they have done in the past. In all honesty I was hopeing and believed that their WWE Payback Championship match was going to be the one. The one that put every women on notice and made the WWE Universe stop and comment on how phenomenal both women are. That didn't happen, and its such a shame because everything was there. Instead we got a decent match with some great spots and a terrible ending that didn't work as we have already addressed. What was so amazing was that we had Ric Flair, Bret Hart and two of the best women's wrestlers in the world all out in the spotlight at the same time and thousands of people were chanting "We want Sasha" maybe the WWE should be taking some notes.... Back to this up and coming weekend and Charlotte and Natalya really need to bring it especially considering this is most likely going to be their last bout for the championship in a while depending on the end result. This needs to be the night that the standard goes up a whole new level. They can deliver something amazing they just need the time and in a submission match with this much story the longer they are able to build tension and suspense throughout the match the better and more on edge and into the action the WWE universe will be.

What I have loved so much about this feud is the story telling. One of the issues I have always had with the women's division is the lack of story. For the first time in a very very long time the WWE have been able to create a strong defined story with  a clear direction and it's been very refreshing to see. Everything from the past month or so has tied in together really well. The way the WWE have gotten to this moment in the feud, a submission match, really shows how much story has been told and the consistency and it's that that is why I am so excited for this match. The build up and the story over the past month has allowed a situation to develop were it makes perfect sense for either women to walk out as Champion. Does Charlotte prove that she doesn't need her father by her side to keep the championship around her waist making her an even more dominate and fearful champion? Or does the fan favourite baby face walk out finally dethroning the champ and proving her point? To be honest this match could really go any way. Personally, I do still desperately want to see Natalya capture that championship. Like I have said a million times before, Natalya has been working her ass of for years, waiting for her moment as younger women suppress her. To think that her career will on
day end without her ever holding the WWE Women's Championship is a sad thought and one that I really don't want to see happen, she truly does deserve to be champion and to capture the title in the greatest feud she has been in throughout her career. Do I honestly think she will do so this weekend? Like I said, it could go any way, but I would have to say that I strongly believe that the WWE will keep the championship on Charlotte until the Summer. We all have heard that the WWE have big plans for Sasha Banks in the Summer hence why she hasn't been on TV very much recently. Everyone has pretty much believed that Charlotte will one day drop the Women's Championship to Sasha Banks and if that is the case than we won't be seeing a new champion crowned this weekend. I have also mentioned in the past that I would love to see Sasha Banks and Natalya go one on one in a huge match up, I believe they could really bring something amazing and deliver one of the greatest women's matches we have ever seen but knowing the WWE they will most likely stick with Charlotte VS Sasha Banks one on one for the Women's Championship at Summer Slam.

This match up between Charlotte and Natalya really can be something amazing. I hope they are given enough time to tell their story in more depth, add suspense and tension and create a match no one will be forgetting any time soon. Personally I will be backing Natalya but there is a hug part of me that believes it's Charlotte who will walk out of Extreme Rules still the WWE Women's Champion. As usual, I would love to know what you think so feel free to leave a comment bellow or tweet me at @TezangiVictoria.
