Five Of the Most Charasmatic Superstars in the WWE Today

Charisma is just as if not more important than actual wrestling ability and to this day this point continues to be proven correct. Superstars like Roman Reigns is the prime example of this problem. While his in-ring talent is actually very strong his lack of character and charisma is one of the reasons why he has struggled to get fans on his side. Throughout the year there have been so many superstars that have gone through the same thing and it's still something we are seeing now throughout the wrestling world. However, we are currently seeing some truly amazing characters in an outside of the WWE and this is something that I'm going to be something that I focus on over the next few weeks and today we are going to have the first post in the tiny little series I'm creating here this month. In today's blog post I'm going to be taking a look at five of the most charismatic WWE Superstars today. I am planning on doing a full NXT special version and an outside the WWE version so keep an eye out for that over the next couple of days or weeks. I had so much fun taking the notes for this blog post and I can't wait to see what you guys think and if you agree with the superstars mentioned in this post.  If you would also like to see a reverse version of this blog post then do let me know also! This is also the first post after British Wrestling season on my blog so I'd really like to know what you thought of that and if you would like to see that again. As always any recent blog post will be linked bellow including everything from British Wrestling Season. Finally, you can let me know who YOU think has the most charisma in the WWE today by leaving a comment bellow or dropping me a tweet over at @TezangiVictoria.

This post was pre-posted in January. An updated Version will be posted Next Month

5) Sasha Banks
When I was taking my notes for this blog post I was very passionate about making sure to include a female talent on this list. Over the years I've struggled to jump on board with many characters the women's division has provided mainly because of the lack of diversity being presented when it came to characters. Sasha Banks is one of the first female superstars in a long time that I've really actually enjoyed watching because of how charismatic they are. The last women that excited me for these reasons were probably AJ Lee, another talent I've spoken about plenty of times already here on my blog. Now, Sasha wasn't always the "Boss" in fact it was a loss to the then NXT Women's Champion, Paige that pushed Sasha over the edge and after her heel turn an alliance with Summer Rae was created and the Boss was born. Since then she has been unstoppable only getting better and better in everything she does. While we all know her wrestling skills are simply phenomenal it was her character that originally got her over the fans. Love her or hate her, Sasha Banks is one of the most charismatic female superstars in WWE history. I will admit that I do prefer her heel word. I have always said that I believe she is one of the best heels in the WWE today when she is working as bad guy. She has the audience completely gripped, she knows exactly what to say to get under the skin of the WWE//NXT universe, and the character she brings to the ring and every single match she competed in (even as a babyface) is just fantastic. Take her first Ironman match against Bayley back at NXT Takeover respect a couple of years ago, we saw her literally make a child cry live on TV. She's such a captivating, interesting, and entertaining character and she has proven that time and time again. There hasn't been another female talent with her character; she's unique, she's extremely confident and everything she does just fits so so well with her character and I just had to include her in this list today.

4) The New Day

I'm pretty confident you all knew that the New Day were going to be included in this list. They were one of the inspirations behind this blog post in the first place and no list talking about charisma would be complete without the longest reigning Tag team champions in WWE history! When the New Day were first created I was super excited. Here we had three very different characters who hadn't been used to their best abilities over the years being put together to create something that fantastic potential. However, the early days of this trio were extremely disappointing. The guys failed to get over with the fans and they just didn't stand out in the slightest. However, over time they would go on to become the most popular things in the WWE today and the most charismatic, entertaining superstars on the roster. Their mic work was and is something no one can touch. Lets first take a look at Kofi Kingston. Before these superstars and the New Day were created and put together no one could predict just how charismatic Kofi Kingston was. While he has been a  part of the WWE roster for a long time now we only just have been able to see this amazing side to him and it's all thanks to being a  part of the New Day. Out of nowhere, Kofi went from being the guy we hardly heard speak to one of the funniest, most genuinely entertaining and charismatic man on the WWE roster! The way he delivers lines is brilliant and when I try to describe just how charismatic he actually is, I'm lost for words. We then have Big E, my personal New Day favourite. This is the man the WWE kept completely silent for a year! After spending so much time not saying a word and standing alongside AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler along with a couple of weak storylines on his own, Big E was one of the biggest success stories in twenty fifteen. No one could have predicted just how funny and charismatic this superstar was going to be and he has taken the WWE universe by storm. And finally, we have Xavier Woods. I wasn't the biggest fan of Woods at first. Aware of his NXT work I could see his charisma in the ring but failed to jump on board with his character. However over the past couple of year's he's just been on fire and such an entertaining superstar on the roster. Together, these three men arguably the most charismatic superstars in WWE history. To this day I'm still going back and watching old segments, promos, and interviews involving these men, they are that brilliant!

3) Enzo Amore

Up next we have the one and only, Enzo Amore. Now, I have a big post coming up on Enzo over the next few weeks so I'm not going to talk about him in too much detail but I just had to include him on this list. I have been a huge Enzo Amore fan from the moment I first saw him compete in NXT and seeing how far he has come as a character and an in ring performer has been amazing. I'll be honest and think most of you reading this will agree when I say that Enzo as never really been a standout because of his in-ring skills, it has always been his fantastic charisma and ability to connect with fans that have put him in the position he is in right now. You put him on the mic and you just know he is going to own it. We have seen him deliver some stellar promos since his WWE/NXT career started and he has never failed to impress whenever he's given the time to shine and take centre stage. He has completely won over the fans and become one of the most over superstars on the roster today. His music hits and the fans are louder than ever and its only a matter of time until every single person in the room is saying his catchphrase along with him. While he may not be the strongest wrestler on the roster he does have something special and without a doubt one of the most charismatic men on the WWE roster today.

2) Chris Jericho

Did you really think I was going to write a post talking about the most charismatic WWE Superstars of today and not include Chris Jericho? Of course not. I have been a Y2J fan for as long as I can remember. His debut is still one of my favourite moments in WWE history and something I continue to go back and re-watch just because of the effect and how much an amazing moment it really is. Jericho is for sure a future hall of Famer. He's a man that's pretty much done it all and has had one truly amazing run in the company. A well respected and talented man Chris Jericho is a top fan favourite. Over the past year for former champion has reclaimed his spot at the top and while he hasn't had a title around his waist in a while his change up in character has made him one of the biggest talking points of the past twelve months. He's alliance with Kevin Owen has been fantastic and one of the key and most entertaining parts of Monday night RAW. I definitely believe that Jericho has been working some of his best work of his career. I have said time and time again that I could watch just those two superstars all night long. It doesn't matter what the scenario or the storyline or even the feud is you know that the moment Jericho takes that mic or has a moment to speak you're going to hear pure gold. He has a way of being so so amazingly funny without it being corny and cringe-worthy. He connects with both the younger and audience thanks to the way he works his character and it means that everyone has launched onto his new work massively. There have been so many lines and catch phrases that I've loved including; drink it in mannnnn, a sexy pinata, to his ever ending scarf moment. And of course, we have to talk about the list of Jericho aka, one of the best things that happened in twenty sixteen. Such a small and basic thing but something that has left every fan of every age so ridiculously entertained.

1) The Miz

And finally, we have former Intercontinental champion, the Miz. In my personal opinion, The Miz is the most charismatic WWE superstars today without a shadow of a doubt. Over the years I have written several blog posts talking about the man himself from top fives that speak about some of the most underrated and underutilised superstars in the WWE today to last year's top ten Male superstars of the year. Throughout this career, the Miz has tasted success time and time again, however, he has also dealt with just as many setbacks and really has taken him years to get to this point where we can
honestly say he is one of the best things in the WWE right now. A former WWE champion, Money in the Bank winner, WWE Champion, tag team champion, and seven-time Intercontinental champion, the Miz has made history and over the years delivered some fantastic matches and even stronger storylines. He's someone I have been following pretty much from day one and despite the many lows he has had one thing has remained perfectly clear, he is extremely charismatic. The Miz knows exactly how to grip an audience, how to entertain and get a genuine reaction out of you. The moment he takes hold of that mic you know you're in for some gold and he has been showing that more than ever over the past eight months or so. No one has benefited more from the brand split than the Miz. He's one of the men I really was hoping the WWE would save once RAW and Smackdown went their separate ways and they have done just that. In a matter of months, the Miz became the standout star of Smackdown LIVE and that hasn't changed since. The turning point? I think we can all agree that pipebomb to Daniel Bryan on an episode of talking smack all those months back is exactly what got the world talking. He had every single wrestling fan around the world talking his name and has become one of the most entertaining and charismatic stars in the WWE. Since then he has continued to deliver more epic promos that have seen genuine emotion and passion that have you believing every single word coming out of his mouth. We all also know that he is without a doubt one of the best heels in the business today. He's one of the only superstars you can say you genuinely dislike and he knows exactly how to play his character. He brings so much to his matches, promos, segments, and interviews. You give him a mic and band a script and the Miz will shine brighter than anyone. It may have taken him a long time to get to this stage of his career but one thing has remained the same, no one can touch the Miz's charisma.
