Ten Superstars Who Must Become Champion In 2019 (Part 2)

Last week I uploaded a blog post looking at five superstars I believe must become champion this year and I mentioned that a part two was on the horizon and so today that is exactly what I am presenting you with. Coming up I have another five names ready to discuss and as always, I’m excited to hear what you guys think and who you would like to see with a title around their waist at some point within the next twelve months so feel free to leave a comment below!

THIS POST WAS PRE POSTED IN DECEMBER

Braun Strowman

It’s quite difficult to believe that Braun Strowman hasn’t yet held the Universal Championship considering he has been one of the most dominant, popular, and consistent stars on the entire roster. The WWE have ruined his momentum time and time again and missed so many opportunities to the point where now we do question just whether or not he will actually get his hands on gold after all however, with momentum still being there and Braun still making an impact there is still a chance he will get an opportunity in the near future with twenty nineteen finally being his time but it’s vital for the career of Strowman that he does finally get his hands on a title this year!

Bianca Belair

Moving over to the NXT roster now and we focus our attention on one of the most promising stars of the future of the WWE, Bianca Belair. For a solid year at least, Bianca has been making a huge impact on the black and yellow brand cementing herself as a true star to watch! From a charismatic character to decent mic work to an impressive move set Belair has grabbed the attention of fans and the NXT universe are desperate to see Belair get her hands-on gold! Twenty nineteen must be the year the EST of NXT takes on Baszler to become champion for the undefeated Belair has more than earned a title shot and a reign!

Mustafa Ali

I’ve admitted before that I’m not the most loyal of 205LIVE viewers and I am trying to tune in more regularly simply because the content and in-ring performances are of such a high standard! With that being said it’s Mustafa Ali who has truly grabbed my attention over the past year proving time and time again he deserves to have gold wrapped firmly around his waist. He has been apart of several standout matches all of which I seriously advise you to check out proving over and over that he most certainly should be champion leading an underrated and at times underutilised division.

Bobby Lashley

There most probably isn’t a name I believe must become champion at some point this year than Bobby Lashley. Similarly, to Braun Strowman, I am massively surprised to be sitting here saying that Lashley is yet to get his hands-on gold considering fans were so confident he was in for a monster of a push upon his return. It’s evident he could have made for a legitimate challenger to Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship months ago and not going ahead with what could have been a huge step for RAW and Lashley (and the title) is something that still shocks me. Twenty nineteen is an important year for Lashley who must prove to be a serious contender on Monday nights and for this return to truly work with him capturing gold!

EC3

And finally, the last name I’m going to be mentioning in this two-part series is, of course, EC3. Without sounding like a broken record, EC3 is yet another talent I’m surprised we have seen so little of. Despite the slip-ups he has had due to health/injuries many still expected to see a greater push for EC3 and while they may not have happened in his first year back in the WWE I’m confident that two thousand and nineteen will be the year EC3 proves why he made a comeback to the WWE, why he is an important figure in the WWE, and what he has to bring to the table what is important, however, is that he gets his hands on a title and a championship run down in NXT is exactly what he must have!

And that is part two complete! I had so much fun writing up my first mini-series of twenty nineteen and I cannot wait to read who you want to see as champion this year so feel free to leave a comment below or tweet me over at @TezangiVictoria
