Dream NXT Opponents For Charlotte Flair

After capturing the NXT Women's Championship at Wrestlemania in a memorable bout against Rhea Ripley the now time NXT Women's Charlotte Flair champ has shaken up the landscape of the black and gold brand! There can be no denying that NXT has the strongest and best women's division on the scene today and with the Queen, Charlotte Flair as champion the competition and the standards have increased even more and an array of dream matches now await Flair on the black and gold brand. NXT is a very different place to the last time she was champion there and the names below work as dream opponents all of which could work an incredible must-see match up we will remember for many years to come.

Candice LeRae

I believe we are still yet to see the best of Candice LeRae. The highly experienced NXT star has taken part in phenomenal performances against Io Shari in one on one competition and stood out inside the first women’s War Games match. Fast-paced and diverse within her move set Candice is such an exciting addition to the women’s division and a true fan favourite and the striking differences between the characters of LeRae and Flair make for a must-see angle within itself but their shared intense passion for the business and incredible wrestling ability promises this match would be a highlight and a fantastic showing for both women. I also believe Flair could bring out the best in Candice and push her to limits we haven’t yet seen her pushed to during her time in the WWE so far.

Chelsea Green

Personally, I believe Chelsea Green is the most underrated female NXT talent today. Still her early days with the WWE there is so much to come from Green, a hungry, talented and entertaining talent with plenty to bring to the table! Prior to signing with the WWE Green stood out in the indies for competing in an array of fantastic matchups against some of the best of the best, as well as must-see intergender matches and there, can be no denying she is one of the best in-ring performers and wrestlers on the black and gold brand we just haven’t seen much of her inside a WWE ring as of yet. The quality of Green’s wrestling talent matches so well with the Queen’s and given a good amount of time in the ring these two could put on a potential match of the year candidate. Both women have a nasty edge and despite the differences in where they are in their careers the pair are rather evenly matches and Green could very easily bring out one heck of pure wrestling match up for of amazing posts out of Flair.

Io Shirai

One of the biggest dream matches in the WWE today has got to be Io Shirai vs Charlotte Flair. Both incredibly athletic and experienced they share similarities in the ring that make for something very must see indeed! Again, we have two very intense performers that can work those longer matches, are comfortable on the top rope and know how to punish their opponents in such a barbaric manner. There is a slight size difference here with Flair having the advantage but the speed and experience of Shirai is very impressive and again, give these two time and we have a match that could so easily go down as highlight of the year and an instant classic. If you want to bring in ratings this is the match to book and there is no denying the pair could main event any live show including major PPV’s.

Kacy Catanzaro

There is a match of the year style bout awaiting Kacy Catanzaro. The big-time fan favourite has had her fair share of stand out moments whether it be during the Mae Young Classic, episodes of NXT or the Royal Rumble. The extremely athletic superstar brings something completely different to the table and when she really gets going and we see more from her fans are looking at a potential future champion. Of course, Kacy is one of the smallest superstars in the WWE and Charlotte Flair is a true powerhouse but both women share a special athletic skill unlike no other and so when you put them in ring against each other we are sure to see some epic spots that leave everyone watching stunned and speechless. There is a big difference in the characters also and so there is a natural story to tell between the two. Flair makes for a great name to show the world just how good Catanzaro is and the depths of her talent and move set.

Tegan Nox

Tegan Nox is truly destined for greatness. Already taking part in a standout match of twenty-twenty against Dakota Kai fans are beginning to see just how special of a talent Nox is and there is still so much to come from the Welsh star. An intense and emotional performer Nox has an incredible story to tell but must also be noted as a very talented in-ring competitor. Brilliant within the world of submissions and pure wrestling Tegan has everything needed to put on a classic against one of the best of the best in Charlotte Flair. Her passion and drive and mean edge promises something very special and career-changing for Nox with an opponent like Flair sure to bring out the best in her and show the NXT universe why Tegan is sure to be a huge key factor in the future of women’s wrestling in the WWE.
