10 WWE Superstars We Want to see Face Daniel Bryan PART 2

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling Word, I hope you are all well and good and have had a great week! Okay, so there is no denying that the biggest new headline and talking point over the past thew days has focused completely around Daniel Bryan after it was revealed that after two years out of action he has been cleared to wrestle again. Even typing that sentence gives me chills. His recent promo on an episode of Smackdown LIVE left fans full emotion. I watched with tears in my eyes as Bryan ran us through the last twenty-four months speaking of his personal journey and struggles to accept the fact he may never wrestle again. However, with the news, he will compete inside a WWE ring again at some point there is light in the new chapter of Daniel's career and everyone is feeling the excitement. In today's blog post I am going to be taking a look at 10 WWE Superstars I want to see go one on one with Daniel Bryan. This is a topic that I have seen a lot of people talk about and several different websites and blogs have written the same kind of article and I will link some of those at the end of the post. This post is a two-part post and so part one of this piece will be linked below at the end of the show! As always, any recent blog posts will be linked below including my RAW and Smackdown LIVE highlights from this week and finally, you can get involved and tell me who you would like to see go one on one with the leader of the YES Movement below in the comments or by tweeting me over at @TezangiVictoria.

This post was pre posted and so some content may be dated. I have added other names to the list at the end of the post!

AJ Styles

We're going to kick start part two of this blog post off with a match I'm sure every wrestling fan wants to see and that's AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan. Both two of the best of this generation a collision between the two screams major pay per view main event. Whether it be Wrestlemania or SummerSlam or indeed any pay per view you put these two in the middle of a ring together and you're sure to get magic! Now, creating a story may be a little difficult considering both are two of the most over, popular and biggest faces in WWE history let alone of today but this isn't a bout that is in need of a massive story behind it. Fans are going to be interested regardless and the match will most certainly impress.

Adam Cole

There are a number of NXT stars I would love to see Daniel Bryan go head to head with. From EC3 to Eric Young to current standouts such as Johnny Gargano and the Velveteen Dream, all of which will make for excellent opponents, however, the man I want to talk about today is, of course, Adam Cole. This just feels as though it would be the most natural feud we could get. I believe it's an easy story that fans can and will get behind and one that works and can easily be built up. When you bring along the rest of the Undisputed era we once again touch on that idea of Bryan taking on an Indie darlings faction with brilliant backstory and potential. Cole is a name we want to see up on the main roster not long after Wrestlemania and Smackdown LIVE most certainly is the place for him alongside Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Riley. Their debut night could very easily see them target Bryan and kick-start a feud that will have fans hooked and entertained for a good month or two.

Brock Lesnar

The next superstar we are going to be taking a look at is Brock Lesnar. I know, I have mixed opinions on this one too. There are plenty of names I want to see Bryan take on at some point and Lesnar actually is one that ranks very very low on that list. However, when focusing on what the best storylines could be and what has a great deal of potential not only in terms of wrestling but build and story this ranks much higher. Again, it's one that writes itself. The two are the complete opposite of one another and it makes for a story that will keep us entertained even if the match won't be as strong as the many others we have spoken about both in today's blog post and part one from last week! Thinking of the promos Heyman would cut on Bryan during the build of their match is something that will have us all entertained massively. There's a brilliant story to be told here and out of all the matches we have spoken about this is the one that I'm confident will really highlight just how over Bryan is with the WWE Universe.

Pete Dunne

Okay, so this one is a dream match. It may not rank on everyone's list but Daniel Bryan vs Pete Dunne is a match I need in my life! So much potential its one that so easily could go down as an all-time great. Dunne is one of the best heels in professional wrestling today. His character work is brilliant and the potential he posses is on another level making it scary to think he's so young, so early into his career and not even touched the surface of what he can do during his time in the WWE so far. Both rather similar in the ring the pair could go at it in a match lasting well over twenty minutes and have fans up on their feet, on edge, and completely hooked and entertained from start to finish! Not to mention that when and if the WWE decides to use the UK talent up on the main roster what better way for the division to make an impact than for the champion to set his sights on Daniel Bryan.

Kevin Owens/ Sami Zayn

And finally, the match you all knew was coming and the one we are most likely to get. Now, as I write this Bryans Wrestlemania plans haven't been announced but it's pretty evident that Owens and Zayn are in the picture. Now, even if he doesn't step in the ring with either one or both of these superstars we're all under the impression after what we have seen that he will collide with one of them at some point if not both. Owens and Zayn have already attacked Bryan picking the night he not only announced he was cleared to compete again but the night he fired the pair following their attack on Shane McMahon. The story has been set up already and the two make for brilliant opponents considering their background and in-ring style.

Other names include:
Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy

And that is the list!
