10 WWE Superstars Who must Switch Brands This Week Part 1

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good and have had a great week! Okay so I know I never ever upload on a Sunday but as I said last week, I have so much that I want to talk about here on my blog at the moment and so a bonus post has been added to the schedule this week. Now, as you all are aware it was announced this past Monday on RAW that there will be a superstar shake-up happening this week kick-starting tomorrow which of course came as no surprise. The WWE has needed to hold another superstar shakeup for a while but of course, the weeks that follow after Wrestlemania do indicate a fresh start in the WWE thanks to new faces coming up from NXT, fresh new feuds, and returns and boy did we have all that brought to our screen this past week. In today's blog post we will be focusing on the Superstar Shakeup which will of course as we have already touched on, be kick-starting tomorrow during Monday night RAW. I'm going to be counting down ten superstars I believe need to switch brands over the next few days and this post will be split into two parts with part two of the post going up tomorrow before RAW! I will, of course, be reviewing both this week's episodes of RAW and Smackdown LIVE in Wednesdays highlights post.  For now, any recent blog posts will be linked below including my Wrestlemania and NXT Takeover reviews and finally, you can get involved and tell me who you believe needs to switch brands by leaving a comment below or by tweeting me over at @TezangiVictoria.

Braun Strowman

I'm going to kick start today's blog post off with the man I believe needs to switch brands more than any other WWE superstar, Braun Strowman. Wrestlemania season was a strange one for the monster among men. Prior to the Mania build Braun was the man we all had our eyes on. The WWE was building him up to be the next big thing and fans were behind seeing him crowned as the Universal Champion but of course they managed to mess that up and instead he won the RAW tag team titles with a child at Wrestlemania. There really is no other superstar more in need of switching brands. A fresh start, a new roster to run through and dominate, and chase after a major championship where at the end he's on top and holding the title he has always deserved to have on his shoulder. Smackdown LIVE is exactly what Strowman needs and exactly what the blue brand needs. Smackdown has been in need of a big name, a dominant star full of power and strength and Strowman is the perfect fit.

Randy Orton

One of the reasons I want to see Strowman switch brands simply comes down to the fact there isn't anything left for him over on RAW and this is the same thing that applies to Randy Orton. He's held the Smackdown LIVE tag team championships, he's been the US Champion, and of course, he has had another run with the WWE title since being apart of the roster. Orton has gone through every star that has stood in his way on the blue brand it's time for a change. Over on RAW, there are brand new, fresh faces that await him and plenty of fresh new feuds and storylines he could work. Collisions with the likes of Finn Balor and the recently returned Bobby Lashley make for brilliant new feuds for the viper and a heel turn is another thing he needs to bring with him if he is to switch brands this week.

Sasha Banks and Bayley

I'm pretty sure that at this point you are all sick and tired of hearing me talk about the Smackdown LIVE women's division and how much it is in need of some new faces and more depth but I just need to touch on it once again. The superstar shakeup is the perfect opportunity to add more names and faces to the division over on the blue brand. It's evident that RAW does have a much bigger women's division and while I don't want to see half the women move I do believe we need to see a couple of big names make the move from RAW to Smackdown LIVE and Sasha Banks and Bayley are the best women for the job. Both apart of RAW since the beginning of the brand split the two need something fresh. They need new faces to collide with and even though its an option to separate them, considering their still so much more the WWE can and need to do with their feud I don't want to see them separated just yet. Both Banks and Bayley are big names in the women's division and two talents the blue brand could really benefit from having on their side.

The Miz

While Braun Strowman may have been listed as the superstar most in need of switching brands it's the Miz who I want to see move more than anyone else. His run on Monday night RAW hasn't been a bad one at all. While it hasn't been as strong as his previous run on Smackdown live he has managed to continue making history, making an impact, and working as one of the main attractions on Monday night RAW. However, the moment Daniel Bryan announced he was returning to in-ring action my first thought was when will he face The Miz. From the moment the brand split first came back, the Miz and Bryan have had some brilliant moments where their rivalry has really been a focal point of Smackdown LIVE and the WWE have been building something between them over the past year and a half that fans are really invested in. It would be stupid of the WWE not to switch Miz back over the Smackdown LIVE and start to focus on building that over time. Heading into SummerSlam the Miz vs Daniel Bryan could be one of the best storylines's on the pay per view card not to mention that moving to Smackdown LIVE could mean seeing the Miz begin to chase after the WWE Championship which of course is something he is more than deserving of and something fans definitely want to see.

Finn Balor

And the final superstar we are going to be talking about in today's blog post is, of course, Finn Balor. I've made it clear across social media that I believe Balor is someone who really is in need of move over to Smackdown LIVE. Not only is the move something he will benefit from but Balor is someone Smackdown LIVE will seriously benefit from also. The blue brand is in need of a big star and Balor is just that. Feuds with current Smackdown roster members including Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, and Daniel Bryan will make for big-time must-sees that will lead the brand to new heights making the show feel like a true rival show to Monday night RAW. Balor has been struggling a great deal for months now and what he needs is a fresh start. A move to Smackdown LIVE where the WWE can consider turning him heel, bringing the Blub with him and starting something fresh and exciting that will give his character some life and depth. He's one of the superstars that will benefit the most from switching brands and looks to have a very strong few months ahead if the WWE do so.

And that is part one in my ten WWE superstars who must switch brands this week! Part two will be uploaded tomorrow so keep an eye out for that! For now, however,  any recent blog posts will be linked below including my Wrestlemania and NXT Takeover reviews and finally, you can get involved and tell me who you believe needs to switch brands by leaving a comment below or by tweeting me over at @TezangiVictoria.
