Six Superstars Aliester Black Must Collide With on the Main Roster

Former NXT champion Aleister Black is one of the most exciting and unique stars in the WWE today. Fresh into his main roster run the Dutch star is still yet to show the bigger crowds the very best of his abilities but with that set to change just who are the superstars we must and want to see him collide with? In today’s blog post I’m going to be looking at five future opponents for Black I would love to see him collide with.

Randy Orton

Orton’s recent rivalry with AJ Styles has truly reminded me of why I have always been such a big-time fan of his work. A future hall of Famer for sure, Orton still has so much to bring to the table and an array of dream future opponents and rivalries with Aleister Black the latest to join that list! It’s former champion in Randy Orton I believe could bring out that really dark, intense, barbaric side to Black that ICW fans may remember from his days on the roster. I’m confident Orton could bring out a new side to Black WWE fans are yet to witness and enable him to take his character in a new direction. The rivalry would also make for a really fresh and exciting angle for Randy.

Seth Rollins

One of my dream matches in the WWE today is Aleister Black vs Seth Rollins! I haven’t touched on this before here on my blog but the reasons why this is a dream contest for me really does speak for itself. Both superstars are completely different from one another in terms of in-ring style and that difference makes for a match sure to be extremely exciting with the two superstars bringing out the best in one another. Black is a man I would love to see challenge Rollins in the future for gold and while roster changes may prevent that from happening any time soon, I have no doubt these two leaders of a new generation in the WWE will collide in the future.

Daniel Bryan

While they may share similarities in terms of style and experience in the ring Aleister Black and Daniel Bryan could not be any further apart and different when discussion characters and images. The edgy and unique dark side of Black collides massively with Bryan’s recent character work and together it makes for a must-see encounter. It's colliding with Bryan where I believe fans will really see just how talented Aleister is in his wrestling ability and where we will see Black’s experience come into play! The mic work and character collisions here is something very exciting and important on Aleister journey on the main roster, particularly in his debut year.

Shinsuke Nakamura

While a rivalry between the two may not go down massively well with fans in terms of grabbing attention if the WWE is smart, they could really pull off something extremely special and beneficial for both superstars. Now, its clear the company have handled the main roster career of Shinsuke Nakamura terribly and turning things around at this point will be beyond difficult, however, if they were to book Nakamura and Black in a very lengthy one on one contest randomly could result in a positive ending for both superstars. While Black would be likely to score the win here the strong showing will remind fans of just how brilliant Shinsuke is and what he can create in the ring. These two stars are both incredible strikers and when given enough time I really do believe this could be a matchup that goes down as a potential match of the year encounter.

AJ Styles

As far as dream matches go, they don’t get much better than Aleister Black vs AJ Styles. As two personal favourites of mine I, of course, would love to see these two huge stars collide but looking at this on paper there is every reason to believe this would make for an epic match up. The two have experience competing around the world and have picked up an array of different styles in the process of doing so and watching them share a ring for a lengthy amount of time is the definition of a dream match. Styles is a man who can really push Black and bring out the very best in him while Black has the ability to increase Styles’ intensity and attention to detail.

Kevin Owens

And the final name I want to talk about today is Kevin Owens. We haven’t seen all too much of Owens since his return to action earlier this year but with so many new faces now active on the roster there are several superstars Owens could collide with to create something very special alongside and one of those names is, of course, Aleister Black. Again, the two are massively different in every way but those differences means a collision between the pair could really bring something amazing to our screens. This really could be something very special and exciting full of great spots and epic moments and out of all the matches on my list today its this match that goes down as one of the bouts I want to see happen the most!
