RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good! It is the night after the Hell in a Cell pay per view and after a night full of surprises, amazing matches, and storyline twists, during this weeks Monday night RAW we can expect the road to Survivor Series to really kick start and for the excitement to continue. Of course there are many questions on the minds of the WWE universe after the events from the last night and the fall out tonight will be one not to miss out on. In today's blog post I will be recapping what we saw during last nights show and making my bold predictions for this weeks RAW. Before we get into the blog post I have a couple of reminders and updates for you. Starting with of the year season. I have started pre posting for my Of The Year season witch will kick start on the first of December. I'm not sure witch post will be uploaded first but I can assure that that the series will be one not to miss. As we get closer to December I will be uploading reminders so you know when to expect the first post to be uploaded. I will also be uploading a blog post at the start of December telling you about some changes coming to Talk Wrestling World and what the upload time table will look like throughout Christmas and New Year. As usual I will link bellow any recent blog post including last weeks RAW Review and Reactions. Finally, you can let me know what YOU thought of last night's show and what your predictions are for tonight's RAW by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

The shock of the night last night was without a doubt the return of Alberto Del Rio who ended the night defeating John Cena and becoming the new United States Champion. The return was just as much of a surprise as the return of the Dudley Boyz a couple of months back. It had the exact same effect and reaction because there was genuinely no predicting it. There have been rumours over the past couple of weeks or so that Del Rio was interested in coming back to the WWE but I don't think there is a single person in the WWE Universe who could have predicted that he would be answering the open challenge last night. During he's early days in the WWE I was a big fan of Del Rio. I was fully on board with he's character and it became evident very early on that he was a strong in ring talent. Since he's departure with the WWE he has been keeping very busy and it was clear last night that the crowd were happy to see him back inside a WWE ring but what is next for him? What can we expect tonight? Well as we saw last night, Alberto has aligned himself with Zeb Colter who is a phenomenal manager and has great experience in the business. The alliance is an odd one and very unexpected. After all Zeb was once standing by the side of Jack Swagger who took on Del Rio at Wrestlemania a couple of years back. I do think it was the right decision to have Colter stand by Del Rio. It makes things much more interesting. These to could be a duo to really watch and play close attention to over the next thew months or so. This could be a very dangerous alliance. When it comes to tonight, I'm expecting Alberto do cut a promo explaining he's return and what the over all goal is. I doubt they will get him in a feud right now. He will probably spend the next couple of weeks working in squash matches or simply matches that will put him over the way he needs to be to hype he's return and make him look a serious threat and competition on the roster. It would be interesting if at some point we see a jealous Seth Rollins attempt to ruin the come back of Del Rio. After all he did take the spotlight last night. But it seems unlikely and will probably be waiting a while until we see these two go one on one. However, I think they would make one heck of a team somewhere down the line. If the WWE really want to push Del Rio and push him as top talent then putting him in the main event tonight in a tag team match could work well. Somewhere down the line I'd love to see him do some work with Ambrose and Reigns.

As I mentioned in my Hell in a Cell review and reactions post (witch will be linked bellow) the match of the night for me was Roman Reigns VS Bray Wyatt. Those two tore the house down last night and gave us one heck of a match up. But now Wyatt has moved onto something new and it's about time Reigns does the exact same thing. After he's match last night we did see Reigns and Ambrose have a little moment backstage where they mentioned dealing with a certain situation during tonight's RAW. What that is I don't know. Hopefully it's nothing to do with the Wyatt's considering they have focused their attentions on the Undertaker. I know that a popular choice for Survivor Series is team Wyatt VS Team Taker but it hasn't been confirmed or highly rumoured. If that match is however in talks then it's likely Ambrose and Reigns will be apart of that. Personally what I'm waiting for is for Orton to come back...again. We haven't seen much of him this year at all but I really would love to see Orton feud with Ambrose. Dean is someone that is in a really odd situation right now. He's kind of been playing the wing man role for Reigns recently and it's time the WWE started focusing more on Ambrose as a solo competitor . I'd love it if he could go and do something of he's own. Feuding with Kevin Owens is defiantly something the WWE should be considering. Will it happen right now? It's unlikely, let's be honest. Reigns on the other hand is at a real high at the moment. He had an amazing match last night and is beaming with momentum after a big win. We can expect the WWE to keep him working at a high level and slowly he will ease he's way back into the championship picture but it's key they keep him working towards it instead of rushing him straight into it. He will most likely continue to work main events for RAW and Smackdown witch I have no problem with what so  ever. He could feature in a tag team main event but like I have already said I really want to see Ambrose and Reigns do their own thing, saying that it looks as though they have something big coming up. Maybe a number one contenders match between the two for a shot at Seth Rollins and the championship could be in the works soon.

Focusing on the divas division now and last night Charlotte and Nikki Bella were able to put on a solid match up that left me very impressed with Nikki Bella in particular. Now, with Nikki out of the championship picture it's time for the WWE start clearing up the mess they have made in the division and starting putting forward new challengers for Charlotte and the divas championship. The most obvious name is of course Sasha Banks. Week in and week out the live crowds are making it perfectly clear that they want to see the boss in action and the WWE have used that into a growing storyline witch will eventually end in Sasha parting ways with Naomi and Tamina. It's clear that they are going to go down the jealousy root with Sasha continuing to outshine her team mates. I know there have been rumours of Sasha turning baby face witch I have already mentioned I'm not a fan of but I would love to see team BAD go on a loosing streak with Sasha eventually cracking and telling Naomi and Tamina she is better than them better than team BAD and goes off to do her own thing. It's likely Sasha will get a divas championship opportunity soon witch will just add to the fact that she is out shining Tamina and Naomi. There is also the case of Paige and Natalya and their feud. We haven't seen Natalya in a couple of weeks due to the attack we saw on Smackdown. Even though we all know it was Paige the WWE have done a good job longing it out. Paige is working as the crazy heel once again and we are supposed to be questioning whether or not we can trust her. For the past week or so we have seen her try and make a immense with Charlotte and Becky including the celebration last night after Charlotte's match. However, if you look closely Paige made sure she was the one to congratulate Charlotte first and had the attention back on her. I'm hopeing that tonight we will see Nattie return and reveal who her attacker is. It's likely sooner or later Paige and Nattie will go one on one and from past matches we know these two can put on a great match up. I'd also love to see a number one contenders triple threat match between Sasha, Natalya, and Paige at some point. It's going to be interesting seeing the role team Bella plays but to be honest the sooner they break up these teams the better.

Last Thursday on Smackdown we saw the much anticipated main roster debut of Tyler Breeze. Picking up a great reaction from the crowd it was clear that Breeze didn't need to introduce himself. Making he's first Smackdown TV appearance as Summer Rae's new Boyfriend didn't go down too  well with me personally. My problem with this is I just feel as though the WWE should stop putting Summer in love Storyline's sticking her next to WWE superstars. Whether it be Fandango, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev, or Tyler Breeze. She's a talented women with loads of potential and they should be using her in this whole divas revolution to spice things up and bring something new. I'm also not a fan of Breeze being given a "girlfriend" as he's debut storyline. He's an incredibly talented superstar and I can't help but feel it's the start of something not so great. He's attack on Dolph Ziggler was done really well and he made sure to let the people who didn't know him know that he was someone not to get on the wrong side of and to not underestimate him or be fooled by the outrageous ring gear. As we saw on the kick off show last night at Hell in a Cell, Ziggler competed fine in a six man tag team match witch kind of took away from what we saw on Smackdown. Whether or not Breeze and Ziggler feud has yet  to be made official. If they are not going to be participating in a lengthy, solid feud then it's likely the two will go one on one tonight. I really do want to see Breeze on RAW tonight just so he can make an impact that and show everyone what he can do in the ring. Hopefully sending a message. Fingers crossed he's work with Summer doesn't last too long.

At the moment there's a bunch of WWE Superstars who aren't really going in any direction. Their not in anything interesting, there's no strong feud or storyline and their kind of just bouncing around have good matches here and there. The thing is, they are all main event worthy talents and were all competing last night at the Hell in a cell kick off show. We have seen Stardust and the Ascension target Cesaro in recent weeks witch as I mentioned in my Hell in a cell review, I don't have much interest in at all but after weeks of teasing the feud we are bound to see Stardust and Cesaro collide tonight. Stardust has been waiting for he's perfect moment to attack and we are likely to see him choose the right moment tonight during RAW. If he and the Ascension can attack Cesaro they will be able to send a message and hopefully get everyone interested in their feud but it's going to have to be done correctly. As for the other superstars it's hard to make a prediction for their next direction. Sheamus is of course Mr Money in the bank so he's secured a solid storyline at some point but what the WWE should be doing is focusing their attention on him a little more and making him come across like a legit threat. I have been super impressed how well he has been working with Barrett in particular recently. The two have such great chemistry and I genuinely enjoy watching them compete with one another. I'd love it if Barrett turnt baby face for a little while and had a mini feud with Sheamus but it does seem unlikely at the moment and the WWE may want to carry on pushing them and keeping them working as a tag team. Rusev is in a sticky situation at the moment but once again I have enjoyed seeing him work with Barrett and Sheamus recently the problem is is he just isn't going in any direction at the moment and there's nothing strong for him right now. It's important to bare in
mind that Kevin Owens will be on the look out for a new challenger starting tonight after he knocked off Ryback at hell in a cell last night. Potential new feuds could include Neville, Ambrose or Roman Reigns.

After loosing to Seth Rollins last night at Hell in a Cell corporate Kane is no more. Whether or not we will get a replacement has been announced but it was briefly joked about on the kick off show. I do like the fact that we are getting Demon Kane all the time but I will be missing split personality Kane a lot. It's likely, especially with how Hell in a Cell ending we will eventually see the brothers of Destruction reunite. It's a possibility Kane could target the Wyatt family tonight or the Wyatt family target Kane. Either way Bray has a lot to awnser for tonight during RAW. Rollins will also be looking for something new. I've already mentioned it today but the WWE really need to start focusing on turning Seth baby faces and working on the potential feud between Triple H and Rollins. It's possible that starting tonight we could really begin to see the tensions growing between the two with Seth gloating about he's victory and claiming to be the greatest champion of all time. He's booking over the next month will be interesting.
