Monday Night RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good!So it's the end of another weekend and the start of another long week and here on my blog we are starting things off this Monday with my RAW Predictions. If I'm being honest I wasn't sure what I was going to upload this Monday until Yesterday. I was stuck debating with myself whether or not to still write Monday night RAW predictions considering that it would be much more difficult to write up Smackdown Live Predictions every week but for today we're just going to run with it and see how things go. Now, last week the WWE put on one of the best episodes of Monday night RAW not only of the year but of the past decade at least. Full of everything you could ask for including a shock championship match that saw a new WWE Women's Champion crowned, debuts from the likes of NXT Superstars Nia Jax and Finn Balor, and the announcement of a brand new championship coming to the WWE. We also saw booking remain strong throughout the night with almost every match making sense and fitting into the show perfectly not to mention the fact that for once we got less talking and more action with the WWE for once paying more attention to what was going on inside of the ring and not so much backstage and pointless segments. Altogether it made a fantastic episode of Monday night RAW the question is; can they keep it up two weeks in a row? Well with a huge SummerSlam match announced last week and Brock Lesnar set to make his return this week it already appears to be a show you do not want to miss. As always I will be uploading a full review tomorrow afternoon but for now you can check out any recent blog posts including last weeks RAW highlights witch will all be linked bellow. Finally, you can let me know what your predictions are for this weeks Monday night RAW by leaving a comment bellow or tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

The Beast Returns

One of the biggest things happening on tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW is without a doubt the return of the beast, Brock Lesnar. It was announced during last weeks show that Lesnar would be returning to the WWE tonight and of course the internet and myself went insane. It's been a while since we last saw Lesnar in the WWE and he always goes very missed when his not around. Of course has been keeping himself busy and in the news while he has been away but come one, who doesn't missing seeing Lesnar borderline murder people on live television. Of course in just under a month Brock Lesnar will go on on one with Randy Orton at the SummerSlam pay per view a match that I and the entire would cannot wait to see. Now, we have already seen and heard from Orton back at the Battleground pay per view last week where he did not shy away from headlines regarding Lesnar and made sure the entire world and his opponent knew he was not afraid of the Beast and he certainly is not afraid to take a trip to suplex city.  The SummerSlam pay per view will be the first time these two superstars cross paths on PPV and so the anticipation could not be higher and seeing what these two deliver is going to be brilliant. Of course we can expect to see Lesnar and Heyman address what Orton had to say and for Heyman to sell the shit out of this match as he always does. I have a feeling that after tonight I'm going to be ten times more excited for this match up. Hopefully over the next thew weeks including tonight we can see the start of this true Smackdown VS RAW war with both shows having their own monster one having a viper and the other having a beast we can use this as the big brand war match. It's going to be interesting seeing what Lesnar and Heyman bring to the show tonight and seeing the story between Lesnar and Orton developed and pushed.

Whats Next for Roman Reigns?

After loosing last weeks main event and effectively loosing out on the chance to compete at the SummerSlam main event for the chance to become the first ever WWE Universal Champion the question " what's next for Roman Reigns" lays heavy on everyone's mind including myself. I mentioned during last week's Highlights post that I was expecting Reigns to walk out the winner of the main event and head into the huge WWE Universal Championship match at the SummerSlam Pay per view. It did came as quite a surprise to see Balor actually score a clean victory over Reigns but this does really change things up on the roster and for SummerSlam. For the past two years or so the WWE have been shoving Reigns down a our throats pushing him as the next big thing and so for Balor to walk into the roster and take over becoming the new next big thing it really has changed things up massively. Of course now we have to start taking a look at what could be now waiting around the corner for Roman. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be booked strongly for the SummerSlam pay per view it's just going to be interesting seeing who he's pitted against and the story they put him in. Looking at the roster I do think they could fit something in between him and Cesaro.  If they finally decided to turn Reigns heel there really is something there that could work but to be fair you could still create a solid story between them even if they decided to keep them both baby faces it will just take a very strong story and a brilliant match up to make it all tie together. There's also the chance Reigns could go on to challenge Rusev for the United States Championship witch would also be a very interesting road to go down and something that could help the US championship massivley.

Can Nia Jax Continue to Build Moment

Last week was a brilliant week for women's wrestling. With Bayley making a shock appearance at the Battleground pay per view and Sasha Banks then picking up the biggest victory of the night last Monday defeating Charlotte to become the new WWE Women's Champion. We of course also the RAW debut of NXT graduate, Nia Jax. You guys know all too well that I am the worlds biggest Nia Jax fan. I have sat here plenty of times before talking about how much I love her and last week and during draft night the week before I spent a great deal of time really defending herself. There are so many people that do really believe that she was called up far too soon and I have made it perfectly clear that I really do strongly disagree. I know I've said it a million times before but she really has come so so far since arriving in the WWE. Sure she hasn't been on the scene very long what so ever but in a short space of time she has grown so much and developed massivley in the ring. Just taking a look from December back at NXT Takeover London and where she now she really has come so so far and like I said last week I really believe she has done everything she can do in NXT and so the call up was the perfect timing. Last week she did manage to compete in a very small squash match that did make her very dominate. Now, I'm hopeing the WWE doesn't spend too long booking her in squash matches and moves onto actually getting her into a strong program. I'd like to see her compete in a simple squash match maybe again this week maybe against someone like Summer Rae but over the next thew months or so I'd absolutely love to see her and Paige clash!

Are More Superstars on Their way to RAW?

While Monday night RAW was the dominate show last week but on Tuesday night we got to see of pretty big surprises in regards to WWE returns. Not only did former ECW star NXT superstar Rhyno make a shock arrival on Smackdown LIVE but we also got the news that former WWE Superstar and a personal all time favourite of mine, Shelton Benjamin would making his return to the WWE also as part of the Smackdown LIVE roster! For months we have has a number of rumours surface in regards to past WWE superstars making a come back and this week the rumour have continued with former WWE Divas Champion, Melina the latest name to be mentioned. I don't know how much I've actually spoke of Melina in the past here on my blog but I have always loved Melina and wanted to see her make a return for a long time so I'd love for everything to be true. If she really is on her way back to the WWE it will be interesting seeing what show she actually goes to. While she is needed more on Smackdown to help build the women's division there and the all round roster but I would also love to see her collide with some of the women over on Monday night RAW such as Sasha Banks, Paige, and Charlotte. I do think a great way to keep up the momentum RAW has and for it to live up to the show they delivered last week they are going to have a throw in a shock return or two over the next couple of weeks but we also have to remember their roster is already very very big. Let me know down bellow in the comments who you would like to see return!

The Road to SummerSlam Begins

Last week we found out that Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will battle it out at WWE SummerSlam later in the month to become the first ever WWE Universal champion. An easy must see match this is bound to be the highlight bout of the entire pay per view and so far the match I am most excited about and looking forward too. On this weeks show I'm expecting the road to SummerSlam to continue. We already have four huge matches announced including a women's championship match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte. We can also expect to see a story really  begin to develop between Seth Rollins
and Finn Balor. Both will be on the hunt to gain momentum and I'm hopeing to see both these superstars compete during the show tonight. It will also be interesting seeing if there are any backstage segments or promos. Over the next couple of weeks we can really expect something strong to start up between these two including everything we just mentioned as well as the pair watching over each others match at ringside or over at commentary maybe. I would also love to see a Highlight Reel between these two, I even think it could fit into tonight's show perfectly. A nice way to have these two superstars meet and discuss what is ahead. It'll be a great for the pair to get to know each other, or the foundations to be set and for the heat to really kick start between them. SummerSlam plans for the likes of Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens should become more clear.

So they are my predictions for this weeks Monday night RAW! As always you can let me know what your predictions are for the show down in the comments section bellow or you can drop me a tweet over on twitter at @TezangiVictoria.
