What to do With Nikki Cross: Five Potential Booking Decsions for the WWE Twisted Sister

There is no denying Nikki Cross is one of the most charismatic and exciting superstars in the Women’s Division and in the WWE today and with the former NXT star making her way to either RAW or Smackdown LIVE full time in the coming months the WWE’s twisted sister is sure making an impact! Looking to the future, however, what awaits Cross? Which show is the better home for her? And what potential storyline’s and angles can the WWE give Cross to ensure a strong start to her main roster career?

Reunite Her with Sanity

The most obvious road for Nikki Cross moving forward is, of course, reuniting her with Sanity. Since their main roster debut, Eric Young and co haven’t quite made the impact NXT fans would have hoped for while Cross has generated a huge reaction from fans arguably far stronger than the rest of Sanity. The unique element of the faction, placing Cross back in Sanity will promise greater to come for the group in the future and finally a stronger run on the main roster. Cross has great chemistry with her Sanity pals and at heart, I do want to see her back where she belongs for there is so much to be done there!

Keeping her on Monday night RAW

In recent months Nikki Cross has made several appearances for Monday night RAW both in tag team and singles action and while many including myself would love to see her head over to the blue brand and reunite with Sanity there is simply no denying Cross has a very unique presence to bring to the RAW women’s division. Creating a relationship with the likes of Alicia Fox and Natalya as well as colliding with names such as Ruby Riott, Cross has become a familiar face on RAW and there are alliances and opponents awaiting her that could make for great content. Keeping her as a permeant figure on Monday night RAW, of course, means keeping her on her own which she has so far proven to be an idea that works. Cross is massively popular with fans and has stood tall alone without the rest of Sanity. Adding her to the RAW roster full time may be a risk but most certainly one worth taking.

Vs Asuka 2.0

So far in her WWE career Cross’ standout rivalry and in-ring work has come from stepping toe to toe with Asuka. From their last woman standing match to the chemistry the pair shared when these two women collided, we saw a new side to Asuka and a star in Nikki and nearly two years down the line and many fans still await round two of their rivalry. If Cross is to become a full-time member of the Smackdown LIVE roster, then she makes for an excellent opponent and challenger to Asuka’s title reign. I personally loved what we saw from these two down in NXT and would absolutely love to see chapter two!

Twisted Sister Turned up to a hundred

The “crazy” gimmick is one that has been overdone for years however, Nikki Cross has captured this character and turned it up to a hundred. Convincing, real, intense, and entertaining Nikki Cross has become one of the standout characters in the WWE today and putting emphasis on that is something the WWE has got to do moving forward! We have seen Nikki compete in more extreme bouts with her historic last woman standing contest against Asuka being a true career highlight! Looking towards the future not only for Nikki but for the women’s division and it's evident this is a superstar paving the way and capable of creating something very new and exciting and taking things to the next level. Focusing on adding more hardcore content for the women’s division Cross is the poster woman. We want to see more intense matchups from the women’s division and its competition like that where we see a talent like Cross standout and shine brightly. Placing Cross in matches like this and putting emphasis on her crazy, sadistic and hardcore persona could shake things up massively.

Bray Wyatt

And finally, you saw it coming, an alliance with Bray Wyatt. Now, this is something I have seen quite a few fans talk about in recent weeks, in fact for quite some time! Cross’ intense crazy character grabbed the attention of fans worldwide and it doesn’t take a genius to see that an alliance between Cross and Wyatt is a dream come true! From adding the element of sister Abigail to a story that sees Bray steal Cross from Sanity there is potential here for some seriously entertaining content that puts Cross at the very forefront. There are so many storylines and angles awaiting an alliance between the pair that could not only shape the career and future of Nikki Cross but save the career of Bray Wyatt.

In such a short space of time, Nikki Cross has made a huge impact! Winning over the WWE universe Cross is one very exciting prospect in the WWE right now and her future looks very very bright indeed!
