Wrestlemania Predictions: Shane McMahon VS Undertaker

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good! It is officially Wrestlemania week! The biggest week in WWE and wrestling as we count down the final days until the biggest event of them all, Wrestlemania thirty two. All week long here on my blog we are going to be celebrating Wrestlemania as well. Every single day I will be uploading my Wrestlemania prediction and my NXT Takeover Dallas predictions. On some days I will be uploading up to three posts just because there are so many posts to be uploaded. I have to admit that it took a long long time for me to get all of these posts done and I had to work super hard so I hope you guys enjoy reading each one of them. It's also been a while since I last wrote a pay per view prediction post. Once Christmas hit last year I struggled to find the time to actually write these post and after a while they just faded out. I promised a couple of months back that I would be brining my pay per view predictions posts starting with Wrestlemania and NXT Takeover Dallas. It's been a little weird writing these again but despite the hard work they have been fun to do and have been keeping me busy. I hope you guys have also liked the couple of Wrestlemania posts as part of Wrestlemania season I have been uploaded over the past couple of weeks as well As always I will be linking bellow any recent blog posts including my most recent RAW and NXT Review, my previous pay per view review and reactions post and my last NXT Takeover and Wrestlemania prediction post. Finally, you can let me know what your predictions are for both of these huge show by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

It was back in February that Shane McMahon made he's shock return to the WWE when he interrupted he's sisters acceptance speech of the Vincent J. McMahon legacy of excellence and declared that he wanted ownership of Monday night RAW to ensure the company's future after Stephanie and Hunter had spent the past several year "running it to the ground". Vince McMahon would come back accepting the wishes of he's son but on one condition. He would only present Shane with ownership if he was able to defeat any opponent of he's choice at the time and place of he's choice. Making the blockbuster announcement on the same night that the opponent would be the Undertaker and the place Wrestlemania the chairman added one more final twist making this already huge match up a still cage bout. With so much on the line and this going down as one of the most exciting matches on this years Mania card there is plenty to cover in today's blog post. So lets jump right into this huge Wrestlemania prediction.

When he was around fifteen years old, Shane McMahon started out he's career in the WWE warehouse when he started fulfilling merchandise orders. In the years to follow he would eventually move to in ring action without much training at all would eventually become apart of some memorable storyline's alongside he's father Vince McMahon. Over the course of twenty five years Shane led several departments behind the scenes making he's way up to the position of Executive vice president of Global Media. In two thousand and nine/two thousand and ten, he made the decision to part ways with the company creating he's own path and pursuing other business. On the twenty second of February Shane O'Mac shocked the WWE universe when he made he's much anticipated return to the WWE when he interrupted the moment that saw he's sister Stephanie become the first recipient of the Vincent J. McMahon legacy of excellence award. Rocking he's pairing of a well cut suit and and a pair of trainers dancing around the entrance ramp Shane took us right back to all those years ago when he was in his prime. After saying that Stephanie did not deserve the prestigious award and rejecting he's fathers hug and handshake, the boy wonder told he's father that he wanted control of Monday night RAW. Vince would agree on one condition; that Shane defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania inside hell in a cell. If he losses than he will have to surrender a lock box of family secrets. A week later he would also go on to tell the WWE universe that he will not only write him out of he's will but disown he's one son leaving everything to Stephanie and with a storyline all about legacy this played a bigger role than some may expect. Shane has of course stepped in the ring on several occasions in the past. He's a risk taker known for doing some stupid things that he most probably should never have done as a man not well trained however still impressed as all a little and as a younger fan made me speechless. You guys know what titron moment I'm talking about! Because of he's history we all expecting Shane to pull something out of the bag this up and coming weekend and jump off something to say the least. There is a serious need and demand for something new in the WWE, the start of a new era but can Shane really walk out of Mania with a victory over one of the most dangerous, respected, and fearful men in sports entertainment history?

The Undertaker to this day remains and always will remain one of my all time favourite WWE Superstars. An icon, a legend, a man who will forever be known as one of the most fearful, entraining, and captivating characters and superstars in WWE and pro wrestling history. This Sunday he walks into a pay per view closer to he's hear more than anyone, Wrestlemania, as he takes on the bosses son, the boy wonder, Shane McMahon. There was not a single person expecting this match to take place. In all the podcast and articles I read this was never a match rumoured or predicted for the Mania card I know for sure I never saw it coming. The past couple of years have been very interesting for Taker. Focusing almost completely on he's rivalry with the beast, Brock Lesnar. Taker seeked revenge on the man that took the most prestigious and impressive streak in sports entertainment history away from him battling  two more huge matches throughout last year. We also saw him reunite with he's "brother" Kane to take on the Wyatts in what was a solid way in brining back Takers momentum. Now, as far as the WWE universe were aware we all knew that Takers Mania opponent would be someone who was not currently on the WWE roster. This brought to light names such as Finn Balor, Sting, and John Cena (who of course is still out with an injury) no one however could have predicted Shane McMahon as I have already mentioned in today's blog post. Throughout the past five to four weeks or so we have seen Taker a couple of times and he's role in this match was made clear right from the very start when he made it clear to Vince McMahon that he knows what he is capable of inside matches like hell in a cell and whatever happens to Shane will be on McMahon's hands not he's. It really did make it clear what this feud is about. It's not about the Dead man at all. It's about the McMahon's and their legacy, a power battle, and Taker has found himself simply competing he's possess demands. On he's first RAW appearance of the year, Taker never came out explaining why he was fighting for Vince nor did he really give it to Vince vocally. Instead a harsh line and a dose of the truth was all that we saw and despite the fact that I know a lot of people didn't like this I was a fan of it. This is a feud about power, money, and pride, not about the Undertaker. He's simply the man that Vince knows can cause the most destruction and most am amount of attention to this match and let's be honest it's a very original, unexpected idea and a huge hit.

Over the past month I have not stopped talking about this match. I know it has divided opinion amongst the WWE universe but I'm certainly one of the many who think this is a brilliant idea. I love when the WWE spring something on us that we didn't see coming what so ever and this was one of the moments. It one hundred percent has that Wrestlemania feel to it. It feels like a big deal, it feels like something worthy putting your money into and it for sure is a must see match on the Mania card this year. If I'm being totally honest of course I'm not expecting this to be some kind of phenomenal wrestling match that all of sudden see's Shane as this hidden gem, brilliant pro wrestler. The Undertaker for sure be carrying the match and the whole bout is going to focus a lot and the entertainment is going to come a lot from high risks and how extreme these two can go. Shane is bound to jump off of something and because there is no rules inside a hell in a cell match anything goes and Shane because he isn't a skilled wrestler should make sure to use he's surroundings and the goods under the ring to gain the upper hand. Realistically I would love to see some blood from both of these superstars, with this being the story that is with themes it has and the build up it has got it only seems right to see this match get really nasty and hardcore. Something that will also be a driving force in this match is the resilience of Shane McMahon. If he wants to walk out of this with a victory over the Undertaker and control of Monday night he is going to have to suffer/undergo a huge beating. Now, there have been so many rumours and predictions for the ending of this match so I'm just going to go over a thew of them. The first is that Sting comes out and interferers with the match costing Taker the match up. This would perfect sense. Stings main goal since arriving in the WWE has been to take out the Authority and this is the perfect final chance he's going to get. This also kind of keeps those of us wanting to see Taker VS Sting happen more optimistic about a one on one at Summer Slam this year. Another popular ending is Taker letting Shane get the win. We could see the boy wonder on he's back begging Taker or completely defeated and Taker takes pity on him and lets puts he's arm over him so he can get the win. This could set up an interesting match for next years
Mania for Taker if he competes at Wrestlemania thirty three witch could result in Taker being forced to leave the WWE. Controversial but an option to consider. And finally, my favourite all the rumours and predictions and the one I'm backing as the most likely is Balor and Balor club take over and help Shane McMahon. The idea of Shane taking over Monday night RAW promotes the idea of a start of a new era in the WWE. The Balor club debuting at Mania would be huge and send out that exact message that something new is coming to the WWE. I've said it before on my blog and on twitter that I feel Balor deserves a better debut than Monday night RAW and the lights going out at Mania and him and the Balor club standing in the ring helping Shane out would just be huge and exactly what he wants. I think the WWE will expect the Wyatts to be making the appearance if the lights go out and so the surprise of Balor being in the ring would be huge. And not to mention this would be the perfect way to set up Balor VS Taker for the future. We have seen Balor work as a heel in the Japanese scene and he does it perfectly so that would be nothing to  worry about. I do think there is a lot of things that could go down in this match and because the fans are so invested in the storyline and the match this is going to be a huge part of the night. Expect the unexpected with this match up.

That is my predictions for Shane McMahon VS The Undertaker. I had so much fun writing this post so I hope you guys enjoyed it. I would love to know what your predictions are so feel free to leave a comment bellow or tweet me at @TezangiVictoria telling me what your predictions for this match are and for every other match on the card.
