5 Wrestlers the WWE Must Sign in 2018

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good and have had a good week! So we are fresh into the new year and with everyone feeling ready for a fresh new start it's the time of new years resolutions, optimism, and positive energy! Here on my blog, the first week of January is set to focus very much on predictions for the next year. It's during these seven days I will be running you through some of the feuds I want to see, Wrestling dreams for twenty eighteen, and of course my annual "Superstars to watch this year" post. All of these have been pre-posted and so there may be little facts that need some touching up but I'm very happy with the end result of them all! In today's article, we're going to be focusing on the stars outside the WWE taking a look at seven names on the independent scene the WWE Must Sign this year! This post will take a look at stars from ROH, the British Scene, Lucha Underground, Impact Wrestling, and New Japan! I do have more posts like this coming up and I plan on spending a lot of time in twenty eighteen looking at promotions outside the WWE and bringing you fresh new content! If there is any specific post you would like to see do let me know! For now, any recent will be linked bellow including everything from Of the Year season last month! Finally, any recent blog posts will be linked bellow, and you can let me know which stars you would like to see the WWE sign in two thousand and eighteen by leaving a comment or by dropping me a tweet over at @TezangiVictoria.

Richocet

We kickstart today's blog post off with a pretty obvious pick in Richocet! For quite some time I've sat here and spoken about the former Lucha Underground champion moving over to the WWE. His skill set and athletism are beyond anything else we have seen before and he leads a new generation bringing something different and exciting to the world of pro wrestling! Competing across the independent scene Richoet has built a name for himself and become one of the biggest stars in wrestling today and with that kind of label to his name along with all his accomplished so far he for sure is a man the WWE want on their roster whether it be for NXT or the main roster. Looking ahead, I don't doubt that within the next year Richocet will make his way to the WWE. It appears to be the next move in his young career and fans are desperate to see him reach new heights and bigger stages. He's one of the top stars currently being rumoured to join the WWE in the new year and the thought of him going one on one and sharing the ring with the likes of Seth Rollins, Andrade Cien Almas, Roman Reigns, and Finn Balor inside a WWE ring is something that gets me as a big wrestling fan super super excited!

Candice LeRae

There are plenty of women that competed in the Mae Young Classic back in August and September of last year the WWE should sign this year. The likes of Mia Yim, Viper, Kay Lee Rae, and Toni Storm are amongst those and names I'm sure will be snapped up very soon. However, there is one woman in particular wrestling fans have wanted to see given a WWE contract for years, Candice Le Rae. Throughout her career, Candice has gone toe to toe with some of the biggest, meanest and best male wrestlers in the world as well as the best of the best in women's wrestling. While her full potential wasn't shown during the Mae Young Classic it's common knowledge that she is one of the best female wrestlers on the scene today. A list of must-see matches to her name and one of the most popular faces on the indie scene. With potential storyline's with husband former NXT Tag team Champion Johnny Gargano along with potential matches against some of the women currently in the NXT women's division Candice is someone that the WWE must sign and stop wasting time with. Not to mention that with the Women's Royal Rumble coming up she would be an interesting name to throw in the mix to get some good spots in!

War Machine

The tag team division in the WWE has skyrocketed the past couple of years. Once again, thanks to NXT there has been a stronger interest brought back to the division after years of suffering. Teams such as American Alpha, the Revival, Authors of Pain, and DIY are amongst those to deliver some truly epic tag team division matches raising the bar and bringing attention back to all things tag team wrestling. Up on the main roster, it's been the Usos, the New Day, and Cesaro and Sheamus to follow in those footsteps. Over on the indie scene, we have been seeing the exact same thing and a team I know I have been totally obsessed with as of recently is of course War Machine. I've spoken about these guys previously here on my blog naming them as one of the best tag teams on the scene right now and honestly, I stick by that statement completely. Pretty much every single match I've watched from these guys has blown my mind away. Their athleticism, old-school style, and sheer entertainment factor have grabbed mine and everyone else's attention and seen them rise to the top. Twenty eighteen looks to be another big year for these guys as they look ahead the WWE had to be next step for these guys. They are rumored to be joining the company in the new year and I honestly hope that's something we see come through. Collisions with teams like the Usos, the New Days, Authors of Pain and the Revival make for potential legendary matches.

Rosemary

I'll admit that I'm not the most loyal of Impact Wrestling fans. I honestly dip in and out of watching the product and couldn't run you through an entire storyline from last year. However, I am very familiar with a lot of the talent on the roster and Rosemary is named that I have been paying a heck of a lot of attention to. She hit a lot of headlines last year following the in-ring controversy with Sexy Star but Rosemary is one of the most interesting characters in wrestling today. Of course, let's not doubt her in-ring skills, Rosemary is a brilliant in-ring performer but there is no denying it's her character work that seriously sets her apart. There aren't another women doing what she is doing right now. Her character is unique and she makes it work playing crazy better than anyone. I mean, can you imagine work between her and Nikki Cross? Now, that is something I can invest in big time! There are so many opportunities awaiting Rosemary in the WWE and I really hope she's a name we see join the roster this year!

Ronda Rousey

And finally, one last obvious pick, Ronda Rousey. The signing of former UFC Champion is something that has been in discussion for a long time now after her appearance at WrestleMania thirty-one-a a few years back. During the Mae Young Classic, a clash between the four horsewomen of the WWE and the four horsewomen of UFC became one of the most talked about moments of the year and pushed the rumors surrounding Rousey signing with the company even more. Since then the conversation has continued. Despite not wrestling a wrestling match in her life she is currently training with Brian Kendrick and her interest in pro wrestling is something that has been evident for years. Still one of the biggest names in the sports industry her name alone draws enough attention and this could easily go down as one of the biggest signings the women's division has ever seen.

And there we have it, that is my list of five superstars the WWE Must sign in twenty eighteen. An honorable mention goes out to the likes of Kenny Omega, Tessa Blanchard, and Will Ospreay who of course I would love to see signed too! As always I would love to know what you guys think so feel free to leave a comment bellow or tweet me over at @TezangiVictoria telling me who you would like to see the WWE sign this year!
