Booking Decsions We Could See at Elimination Chamber 2019

Another historic moment for the women’s division, a battle against the numbers for Daniel Bryan, more title bouts and must-see competition all await this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV. In the next step on the road to Wrestlemania the stars of RAW and Smackdown LIVE will look to gain even more momentum and bragging rights this coming weekend but what are some of the surprise booking decisions that could shake up the build to Mania even more and ensure a strong show goes ahead at the twenty nineteen Elimination Chamber PPV.

Bray Wyatt Returns

The Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship has an exciting set of superstars taking part including the champ Daniel Bryan, Chamber legend Randy Orton, the phenomenal one AJ Styles and more all looking to head into the rest of Mania season the WWE Champion. With the odds looking to see Bryan retain his title and win the tough battle ahead attention turns to just who will challenge him for the title at the biggest event of the year and despite not currently on the roster, Bray Wyatt has become a strong fan favourite! History between Bryan and Erick Rowan sets this up perfectly not to mention how cool the title would look on Wyatt. A return this weekend at the PPV seeing Wyatt appear to help Bryan to later turn on him to end the show leaving Rowan very confused sets up months of very entertaining and interesting work and I’m confident the return alone would result in a huge pop from the live crowd!

Finn Balor becomes the new IC Champion

Personally, I would much rather prefer to see Bobby Lashley retain the intercontinental championship this weekend simply because I do feel as though there is so much more to come from his title reign, however, with Balor having such a strong start to the year and rumours suggesting Lashley could find himself facing the beast Brock Lesnar down the line the title change this weekend could be a very smart and sensible move. Finn could bring so much to the IC title not to mention what it will do for his momentum, but we must also consider the up and coming superstar shake-up which if Balor does walk out with the title this weekend, he could move over to the blue brand at a later date taking the Intercontinental championship along with him. It could be argued both Lashley and Balor need the win this weekend but appears an all-around better result could come from a new champ being crowned.

Sasha & Bayley Win the Tag Team Championships

The two thousand and nineteen Elimination Chamber will see more history made for the WWE Women’s division when the first ever WWE Women’s tag team champions are crowned inside the chamber! With six strong teams set to compete it really is anyone’s game and while my personal favourites for the win are either The Riott Squad or Mandy and Sonya looking at the months ahead it's evident the best option, for now, is Sasha Banks and Bayley. The two are in desperate need of a huge win and this historic moment allows months’ worth of work to open up. Whether it be dream matches at Mania against Lita and Trish (a heavily rumoured bout for Mania) or rivalries with top teams on the roster these two women really can set the bar for future teams and with their chemistry, four horsewomen background, and popularity they really are the perfect women to take home the win.

Becky Lynch Attacks Everybody

This past week we saw Vince McMahon suspend Becky Lynch for sixty days meaning she will miss out on Wrestlemania. The chairmen then went on to reveal Charlotte Flair will in fact replace the man in the Mania title match and fans have been elft frustrated and waiting for Lynch's next move. The Elimination Chamber sets up the opportunity to push Becky, this story and this build even further. Having her destory Rousey's title match against Ruby Riottl, attack Ronda, attack Charlotte, anyone insight! It's important Lynch makes an apperance this weekend and the WWE keep going with what has been a very strong build to a huge Mania match up!

Shane & Miz drop the Tag Team Titles

At the Royal Rumble PPV Shane McMahon and The Miz walked out the brand new Smackdown LIVE Tag Team Champions knocking off previous title holders the Bar. Fast forward to today and the pair has done little over recent weeks for the division and many are simply awaiting the inevitable split between the two.  At this point it does appear as though Shane and Miz will collide one on one at Mania and capturing the tag titles is a very clear move to add to their growing story, however, holding the championships for much longer will do no good for a tag division in need of so much more. Putting the titles back on the Usos may not be my personal favourite decision but it ensures a much stronger title match is on the cards for Mania while a loss to Shane and Miz could seriously affect the momentum of Jimmy and Jey, slow down this growing story and keep the tag division feeling weaker.

And those are just some of the potential booking decisions fans could see this coming weekend! I, of course, will be live tweeting throughout the show this weekend and you can tell me what your predictions are by leaving a comment below or by tweeting me over at @TezangiVictoria.
