Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good. I'm back today with this weeks NXT Review and Reactions. Today marks the start of NXT month here on my blog and the review and reactions post will be officially kick starting the season and I'm so excited. I have a bit bag full of all things NXT coming you way and I cannot wait to here what you have to say about each and every blog post coming your way. I still have time to write a thew more so if there is a particular blog post in the series you would like to see then do let me know by leaving a comment bellow and I will make sure to get that done for you over the next couple of weeks. Anyway, onto today's blog post and of course is my NXT Review and Reactions. I will be taking you all the way through this weeks show, recapping and telling you what I thought of every single match, promo, and segment that took place on last night's show. Before I get into the blog post I have a couple of reminders and up dates for you. You will all know by now that my predictions for the pay per view have already started being uploaded with the first going up earlier on today. I will make sure to link that bellow so you can go and check that out if you haven't already done so. Throughout the week right up until Saturday I will be uploading those prediction posts and then on Sunday I will be live tweeting throughout Battleground. This week NXT month will start and run all the way through until the middle of August. I mentioned last week that because of the fact we have NXT Takeover and Summer Slam one day after the other it would mean I would of had no time to upload all the NXT blog post for the series I would of likes to and I didn't want to push it back another month, so the first post will be up sometime this week and NXT Review and Reactions post will be up every week from this week as well. Kicking off this weeks episode of NXT was some tag team actions. As we all know, for the past couple of months we have seen Jason Jordan try to find the perfect tag team partner after splitting with former partner, Tye Dillinger. I have a blog post coming up in a couple of weeks where I talk about why I think that splitting these two was the wrong move so watch out for that blog post set to be uploaded soon. Now, during he's time looking for a new tag team partner we have seen several backstage segments between Jordan and Chad Gable with Gable claiming he was the right man to side with and that eventually Jordan would realise that. Last night we saw them team up for the first time taking on Elias Samson and Steve Cutler. I actually do like the paring of Jordan and Gable. Not as much as I did Dillinger and Jordan but I'm sure it's something that could end up really working with the right push and movement so I'm going to stay positive and hope for the best for both of these superstars as I'm a fan of both of them. I have a blog post coming up where I speak more about Chad Gable so make sure to go and check that out when that is uploaded. The match last night was a simple, short lived match witch saw Jordan and Gable pick up the victory. This was the first tag team win that Jason Jordan had picked up since splitting with Tye Dillinger so things are looking good for him right now. My early impressions of them as a team are pretty good. Gable got a really great reaction from the crowd and there was so much energy in this match. I was surprised to see just how much I got into this match. Gable and Jordan worked really really well together after a slow start but I honestly think these two have a good future head of them. Watch out for these two over the next couple of months or so, watching them grow is going to be great.

Samoa Joe was in action next when he took on Axel Tischer. If you don't know who Axel Tischer is, he's one of the latest NXT recruits and he's from Germany. I've heard a fair amount of decent things about him and if you like I can get working on a get to know for him to go up on my blog. He had a decent showing last night. He doesn't have the typical WWE Superstar body but he had a pretty good showing. Of course Samoa Joe was going to win this one and dominate most of the match but Axle got a fair amount of offence and he impressed me with he's character. I think with the right work this guy could go a pretty long way. It's going to be interesting watching him grow over the next couple of yeas. The match was fairly good, nothing top top stand out but it was a good addition to the card and I did enjoy what I saw. We also got a video package for Baron Corbin that I loved! I have a couple of blog post coming up in NXT month were I talk about Corbin so keep an eye out for that.

There was then a promo from Eva Marie. For the past couple of weeks now we have seen Eva maker her way to NXT with backstage segments with NXT General Manager William Regal. The storyline so far has been all about Eva proving that she deserves and has what it takes to wrestle for NXT and the NXT Women's division. She has had to showcase her improvements to Regal and persuade him to give her a match. Last night on NXT she told everyone that she would be wrestling next week for NXT TV and I have to admit I'm looking forward to it. I wrote a blog post all about why there is going to be no escaping Eva Marie this Summer and so I will make sure to link that bellow so you can check out what I'm thinking of Eva Marie at the moment and the direction the WWE are going in with her. Like I said I am looking forward to seeing her compete next week. I'm very interested in seeing just how much she has improved and what she is going to show that we haven't seen from her before . I'm sure over the next couple of months I'm going to be talking about Eva Marie a heck of a lot.

Another tag team match was up next and this time it was the NXT Tag team champions that where in action as Blake and Murphy took on Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton.It was nice to see the tag team champs in action it's been a little while since we have seen that and you guys know how much I like seeing these guys compete and how big of a fan I am of there's. I'm really looking forward to seeing them take on the Vaudevillians and the direction they go with that. The build up will be interesting and I'm expecting some pretty great stuff for the actual match. Blake and Murphy really did need to be in action last night. The number one contenders are on fire right now and are doing so so well witch means that the champs are in serious need of gaining some momentum and getting everyone talking about them. I want to quickly mention how much I really don't like the change in character that the WWE gave Angelo Dawkins. I felt as though he's old character was great and had good direction. I'm really not liking the new look or the fact that he has been paired with Sawyer Fulton. I have mentioned before that I'm a big big fan and supporter of Sawyer and I think it's such a shame that they still haven't got it right with him but I still hope they can somehow turn it around he gets what he deserves.The match itself was short lived. It was almost completely dominated by the champs and in the end they picked up the victory as their build of momentum kick started. I'm still not sure if Sawyer and Dawkins are heels or baby faces but yeah. I didn't enjoy the match that much but it was good addition to the show and it was what the tag team champs needed. The looked strong throughout and well put together. They come across as great dominate heels and at the end of the match we once again saw Alexa Bliss take the spotlight when she hit the sparkle splash on Angelo Dawkins.

Sami Zayn made an appearance next with an update on he's injury. As we all know, Sami Zayn has been out on injury for a couple of months and so it was really nice to finally get an update and hear some news. He told us that he most probably would't be back in action by the end of the year but he is far from done and when he's back he's coming after two things. Kevin Owens and the NXT Championship.

Finally, the main event and after teaming up with Banks to take on Emma and Dana Brooks last week, Charlotte got what she wanted, a one on one NXT Women's championship match. It was so great seeing these girls main event the show yet again. This was the second time that these two have main evented an episode of NXT and I could not have been happier. These two girls know how to put on a phenomenal match. They have a very strong history together, bags of chemistry and have already put on some of the best divas matches I have ever seen. In fact some of the best women's pro wrestling matches I have ever seen. Whenever Sasha Banks and Charlotte are set to face each other we can always expect magic. We can expect the very best and we can expect them to own and steal the show. This past week on RAW the two girls had a huge appearance on the show and so right now they are both on such a high. They have changed the idea of women's wrestling and the role of divas in the WWE. We are starting to see a big big change in the division across the WWE and these girls are highly responsible for those changes. What I love now is we have excitement for divas matches. Everyone was looking forward to seeing this match take place last night. Th crowd and everyone at home was excited for it and it felt so good being a women and seeing them main event NXT again. It's only a matter of time until they start main eventing live specials. The match last night did not disappoint what so ever. These girls stole the freaking show putting on the match of the nigh and once again treating us to a phenomenal divas match. They continued to prove that the women are taking over and that they are two of the greatest divas in all of the WWE. They honestly stole the

freaking show last night and put on  yet another amazing match up. These girls never ever let the NXT universe down and they always put on a great match, last night was no different what so ever. It was a match that got better and better as it went on but from the very start everyone was hooked and really into the match. From start to finish the crowd showed so much respect to both women witch is always great to see and hear. We saw such a great showcase of strength, power, speed and pure wrestling ability. They continued to up the game and closed the show perfectly. What I loved the most about this match was the passion. These girls really do love wrestling and the WWE and that showed throughout this match. You could see how much this match meant to both of them. With their history of course they had so much chemistry and I really did get that Lita/Trish feel again. Sasha had an amazing title defence and by the end of the night was able to retain the title. It was a very fast paced match that was so back and forth. They continued to one up each other every single minuet they were in that ring. It was great seeing two women, two of the best, main event a WWE product once again and completely own it. These girls are changing the women's division every second and it was so awesome seeing them hug it out at the end of the match. Another great match and showing from Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
