RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well and good! So, it's the night after an eventful Elimination Chamber and as we prepare for the fallout of one of the best pay per views provided by the WWE this year, I bring you my RAW predictions. You would of see that last week there was no prediction post that went up and I have been falling behind quite a bit and that's simply because there have been a lot of personal things going over the past couple of weeks but I'm getting back on track slowly and what better way to make a come back than a good old fashioned RAW Prediction post. Today, I will be taking you back through all of last nights action explaining how what we saw last night will be contributing to tonight's show and what tonight could hold for superstars and divas such as Dean Ambrose, Nikki Bella, Ryback, and the New day. However, before we get into today's blog post there are a thew little reminders that I have for you; starting with NXT month. July will see the return of NXT month, something that I have wanted to bring back for a while now and something I'm very excited to see return to my blog.  I will start pre posting for that next week so if there are any posts in particular that you would like to see do please let me know by leaving a comment bellow. I will also be having more information on my podcast which I plan to start towards the end of this year.  As usual I will link bellow any recent blog post so you can stay all up to date on everything. And finally, you can let me know what you thought of this months action and what has been your match of the month by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

This week I'm going to be starting things a little differently. Usually I would start my prediction posts looking at the divas or the mid carders and end with the main event talent, however this week I'm doing things in reverse order as I take look back at last night's main event and discuss what the fallout to that will be tonight.
So last night Seth Rollins defended he's WWE World Heavyweight championship against former partner and long term rival, the lunatic fringe, Dean Ambrose in what was a phenomenal match up and main event. The standard for this match had been set unbelievably high but these proved once and for all that they are the best of the best and stole the show yet again. After competing for around twenty minuets the closing moments saw Dean Ambrose pin Rollins and be named the new WWE World Heavyweight champion. However, after the match was over the referee who originally started the match declared it a DQ win meaning that Ambrose was still the winner of the match but not the WWE world heavyweight champion. But that didn't stop him leaving the arena with the title meaning we are in for an eventful night tonight as the fallout to one of the best main events of the year so far takes place. So what can we expect? Personally, I would really like to see Dean Ambrose kick start the night with an in ring promo, talking about what went down last night at Elimination Chamber. After what we got last night we can more than expect the feud between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins/the authority continue but with Money in the bank just two weeks away it means there are a busy fourteen days ahead and it's going to be interesting seeing where they go next with him and if they will give him another title match at Money in the bank. Either way that should be made clear tonight. It's likely that the Authority will kick start the show demanding Ambrose to give Rollins he's championship back and with Ambrose being as unpredictable as he is you never know what is waiting around the corner and what he will be up to tonight. A possible main event could see Ambrose compete in a three on one handicap match against the new day, seeing how much involvement the new day have had recently with the Authority.

I'm sure most of you will know by now that the six superstars or this year's money in the bank ladder match have been announced and what an insane line up we have. Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Adrian Neville, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton will all be competing or the money in the bank briefcase in just two weeks time live on the WWE Network. Tonight, the match will start to take shape and the six superstars competing will take centre stage, all trying to gain momentum before the pay per view. In my opinion, I think the two we need to watch out for are Sheamus and Neville. Neither have one the money in the bank briefcase (alongside Kofi and Reigns) and both right now have so much momentum going. Their two of the hottest talents on the roster right now and their booking over the next couple of weeks will be a huge clue as to how they will fair at Money in the bank. After having he's strongest Elimination Chamber performance to date last night, Sheamus is going into tonight's show looking good and we can start to see him take centre stage now and climb he's way up the roster. It's likely over the next couple of weeks we will see him start to work more closely with the Authority if they have any plans on making him the next world champion or at least somewhere in the near future. He could possibly be in tonight's main event depending on booking plans but the most likely match for him tonight will be against Roman Reigns. Last night we saw Roman celebrate with Ambrose, using Sheamus to punish Reigns will be an easy way to get some early heat going between the two of them before Money in the bank and will be an added story to the match. I think Sheamus could really bring out the best Reigns and the two of them could easily have a main event match sometime this week if not on RAW then on Smackdown at least. I'd like to see Reigns take a little seat back and let Ambrose do he's own thing with Rollins so he can focus completely on Money in the bank and build some momentum and interest before one of the biggest matches of he's career.

There's no word on whether or not Rusev will be competing tonight as of yet but it seems very unlikely. With Lana still around there's no chance he will be forgotten any time soon and he's injury won't set him back at all. I was hopeing that he was going to be in the money in the bank ladder match and I do think Kofi is taking he's place but there will be time for him to get back on track when he gets back in the ring and I'm sure there are plenty of big things waiting for him around the corner. I'm not sure if we will carry  on seeing the work/relationship between Lana and Dolph Ziggler. I think we will see over the next month or so the WWE trying to find a place for Lana. There is no doubt that the are high on her and have some major things in store for her but for now they need to work on building her up without Rusev. The direction they go with her will be very interesting and I cannot wait to see what they do with her next. Talking of Dolph Ziggler, we now know he will be one of the six men competing in the money in the bank ladder match in two weeks time. He has a great amount of history at the money in the bank and is a former win so he has experience on he's side one hundred per cent and of course he will be a fan favourite. He had a great showing last night and keeping momentum going will be hard for him, considering the guys the WWE are likely to push over the next couple of weeks will be Orton, Reigns, and Sheamus, but that won't stop him from having solid, stand out matches. A match against someone like Stardust is possible for tonight, but talking of Stardust there has been some rumoured work for him around Summer Slam so watch out for him as well.

It's likely we will get Orton's return tonight. He's been out of action since Payback and with he's name announced for Money in the bank it's time he started building momentum. I can't see him actually winning the money in the bank ladder match but I do think it's going to be interesting seeing what the WWE have planned for him next. A feud with Sheamus is defiantly on the cards. If we don't get Sheamus VS Reigns over the next couple of weeks then we will most certainly see Orton VS Sheamus and we all know the great history those two have so that's gonna be very interesting to see. He's booking over the next couple of weeks will be very interesting. A possible match between him and Neville could be on the card for tonight or next week, and that sure will be a match to watch out for. Talking of Neville, he got a nice clean win over Bo Dallas last night. It's pretty clear their feud won't be continuing but I do think they could stretch it out for one more week.  A bitter, jealous Bo Dallas would be a story they could carry on. It would allow Bo to stay relevant and interesting. He had he's best main roster match to date last night and I don't wanna see him go down the ladder any more.

Tag team action next, last night we were treated to an outstanding tag team match as we had the first ever tag team elimination chamber match. I enjoyed every single moment of this and every single team had a good showing, so all round a great night for the division. But where do we go from here? The New Day are on fire right now and remain my favourite tag team on the roster at the moment. We know that Kofi will be competing in the money in the bank ladder match so we can expect to see the new day play a huge role on that night but when it comes to the titles it could mean we see Xavier Woods play a bigger role and Kofi take a little seat back and focus on the money in the bank ladder match. I do think its The prime time players time to shine. They had a strong performance last night got and got a huge push from the WWE and an even bigger pop from the crowd. We can expect that push to continue and I don't doubt we will start to see them really get the build up they deserve with them eventually getting a fair title shot after their performance last night. The Ascension also had a great performance last night so there also ones to watch over the next couple of months.

Divas action now and I was really disappointed with what we got last night. It wasn't a bad match at all but I really do think they are dragging out Nikki's title reign far too long. She one hundred per cent should of dropped it last night to Naomi and now I can't help but worry for Naomi. She has had a great past couple of months and with such a loss last night things are not looking good. If they wanted Nikki to retain then they should of had her pin Paige no Naomi. You guys all know how much I love Paige but she really does need to take a seat back now and let the other girls take centre
stage. By other girls I mean, Summer Rae, Natalya, Emma, and even Naomi. Nikki's title reign does need to end very soon. It's becoming boring and predicable and they are running out of things for her to do with that championship. I one hundred per cent think its time for someone else to step up to the plate. I don't think another month of Naomi VS Nikki will work so I have no idea what they will do next for them both. Charlotte's debut is just around the corner. She has been backstage at Monday night RAW for several weeks now. Could the genetically superior diva be making her debut tonight? Could she be Nikki's next challenge?

And finally, John Cena. Last night, the match of the night for me was by far Kevin Owens VS John Cena. Owens had a massive win over the fifteen time champion and so the next chapter is going to be very interesting. Owens is still doing a lot of work down in NXT so I doubt we will see an appearance from him tonight, I'd really like Cena to take a week or two off just so that it can further emphasise the damage Kevin Owens called. If Cena does show up tonight then the open challenges are likely to continue and any superstar could come out. My favourites to accept the challenge have to be Bo Dallas, Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns.

That's what I think. Let me know what your predictions are by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.
