Changes in the WWE that would be best for business in 2015

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World. We're gearing closer to the start of the new year and so today I want to focus on the future of the company and what I think is best for business. This is a post I have wanted to do all year round but I decided to save it for the end of the year. Today I'm brining you a little list of things WWE should change or do in the up coming year that is best for business. If this post goes down well I will happily do a part two or even a part three as well. I will also love to know what you think is best for business for the new year and changes you think will benefited  the company by leaving a comment bellow in the comments section or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria. I will also leave the link's bellow to any recent post so you can keep p to date and so you can check them out if you have not already done so.

 A Change in commentary
Kicking off this little list is something I feel really passionate about and something I have spoke about probably all year round, and that is a change in the commentary team. I have highlighted the fact on several occasions that the main roster commentary team needs a change up. I know for sure I am not the only person who feels this way as it's mentioned by several other member's of the WWE universe on a weekly basis. Over the year's King and Cole have dominated the main roster commentary and with the addition of JBL they have done a decent job. However it's clear that we need something new and with so many young, up coming commentators gracing their way into the WWE it's time there was a change. We see divas and superstars come and go all year year round and their is always something new and so the same thing should be done here. The main roster commentators probably frustrate me more than anyone on the main roster mainly because half the time they don't actually do what their suppose to do and commentate the action in the ring. When you look at the announce work being done on NXT it's completely different and the guy's and girls there do a much much better job. Personally I'd like to see William Regal, Jason Albert and Tom Phillips take on RAW in the up coming year. Albert and Regal are to legends in their own achievements. The fans will know exactly who they are and to be honest I think they would do a much better job, and with the addition of young Tom Phillips we could have a strong announce team on our hands. If the WWE did not want to make a huge change they could have the announce team change on a weekly basis with  the original guys going live one week and the newer announce team the following week. As for Main event I have moaned several times about Michael Cole hosting the show. Byron on the other hand does a great job. I honestly think the WWE should be using shows like Main event and Superstars to really boost the popularity of the newer talent, allowing people like Alex Riley, Tom Phillips, Byron Saxon, Renee Young and many others to show their commentating skills and allow them to grow. It will also allow the WWE universe to get used to hearing their voices more and change things up. With Renee and Tom doing Superstars, I don't see the problem of having Byron and Riley do Main event together. It wouldn't be a bad idea adding Albert and Regal to the mix as well to show a change in direction of the WWE and the commentators. I honestly think this is something the WWE must change in the next year. It's a big change yes, but it is one that is so important. The reality of it is, is that the current announce team are not going to be around forever and having gradual changes is compulsory. With constant complaints about the main roster commentators team, a change in voices is best for business.

Smackdown! Smackdown! Smackdown!
Up next is another big topic, it of course is Smackdown. Over the year's Smackdown has gone really downhill. The fans make constant complaints online and a strong majority even admit the do not watch the product any more. Even on the 15th anniversary the company failed to provide fans with a strong two hour episode. I myself have said on several occasions I would much rather watch two hours of NXT than Smackdown. This is a huge problem the WWE have on their hands and they have done little to change this. In the upcoming year the company must make big changes to their weekly show. It has already been announced that the show will now air on a Thursday and not a Friday starting early next year. This is the first big step they could have possibly made and it does show that they are trying to improve the product. Going back to Thursday's is the best decision they could of made. It will allow a lot more people to actually watch the product and invite a new audience. Many people who watch Smackdown are likely to be out on Fridays so we already know that going back to Thursday will mean more viewings and higher ratings. The second big move they have already made is a little change up in the commentary team. Tom Phillips has already been added to the Smackdown announce team and if the WWE change the team completely this could be another big step that  contributes to the success of the product. It would also be a big move if they had the bigger superstars on the show. Top superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton make rare appearances on the show, an if they actually had the two guy's scheduled for the show much more it would automatically boot TV ratings. I think it's also important they use Smackdown to push bigger feuds as well and build it back up to being a strong product. I honestly have high hopes for Smackdown next year.

 Up Coming superstars
At number three I have up coming superstars. This year we have seen a small handful of new WWE divas and superstars debut on the main roster but the WWE have failed to use them as good as they can in their debut year. Both Emma and Bo Dallas have been used as joke acts since making their was on RAW on Smackdown while down in NXT they were both put in the spotlight. With Emma holding being involved in two of the best divas matches in recent years and Bo being the longest reigning NXT champion.  However they have far been treated seriously since coming up to the main roster. I think it's vital the WWE change this in the upcoming year. It's important that the way they portray their new talent in developmental stays around when they go up to the main roster. Emma and Bo are two talents who are being deprived of so much and it's a shame that many of the WWE universe who don't watch NXT don't know exactly what they are capable of.

More Gold
Up next is more gold. This is referring to championships of course. I have been one to talk about adding more championships to the main roster for a while now and I honestly think it is a really good idea. I do plan on doing a deeper more detailed post on this specific topic so I'm gonna keep it short and simple. Anyway, I really do think having a couple more championships will benefit a lot of superstars  on the roster. Bringing back championships like the the cruiserweight would really benefit guys like Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel who are strong talent but would never get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight championship. It would also be a good idea introducing a couple more divas titles to help build the division and show how serious the WWE take the divas. Brining back the hardcore championship would not be a bad idea either. Of course with the P rating we would hardly get actual hardcore matches but it would allow the company to create a new definition of hardcore for this generation and connect with fans who may be into more hardcore wrestling. It would also allow superstars like Dean Ambrose to shine in way's they might not be able to with the current championships.

Divas
The last think I am going to talk about is the divas division. It is evident that this year we have seen a huge improvement in the divas division. They have gained more popularity, the WWE give them more TV and ring time and the storyline's have improved drastically! However there is still much that needs to be done in order to build a stronger divas division. This mean's longer matches, even deeper and interesting storyline's and more ring time. I recently did a post talking about the NXT and WWE main roster divas comparing the two so I will leave the link's to that bellow. With more females watching the product and the company brining in a new audience from those who watch total divas, it's important they portray them in the correct manner and give them much more importance in the company; weather that is bringing in another championship or even adding a special divas pay per view or weekly/monthly wrestling show, something needs to be done. They can't throw the girls in the spotlight through the reality TV show and then give them little ring time. Improvement has been slow but it has been active, hopefully there is more to come in the upcoming year.
