WWE's Best Female Speakers

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World. Today I have another little post focusing on the women of one of sports entertainments biggest companies. As you already know, this month I have been focusing a lot on the WWE divas and have written several posts about the division. Today I'm focusing away from the in ring action and looking at mic work, as I analyse some of WWE's best female speakers past and present. I will also be looking at some of the weakest speakers and talking about how important it is the WWE take more notice on their female talent and the amount of mic work they do. I will leave the link's bellow to any recent posts so you can go and check those out if you haven't already done so. As always you can let me know what YOU think of today's topic, telling me who you think is the strongest and weakest female speakers in the company by leaving a comment bellow in the comments section of by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Over the year's female talent in the WWE has had an interesting journey. With several faces of the division coming and going, many women have found great success in the company. Demonstrating  amazing wrestling ability, divas such as Lita and Trish Stratus have gone on to be named some of the best at what they do and have even become Hall Of Fame's. But what I find interesting is how little mic time the women of one of sports entertainment's biggest companies have gotten. While the WWE superstars get much mic time and have done from the get go, the female talent have struggled to be able to portray any mic work and we have not even seen half of the amount of mic work from the women that we get from the men. Today I'm going to be looking at the best female speakers of today using a top three list. I'm then going to look at the improved speakers and the worst. So let's get into it.

The best Female Speakers in the WWE today:

3) AJ Lee
At number three in my top three best female speakers in the WWE today is AJ Lee. Out of all the divas in the WWE there is one women who get;s the most wrestling time, TV time and mic time, that women is AJ Lee, the women who some consider to be the face of the WWE divas division. Hand's down AJ Lee is one of the best female speakers in the company today. She has a natural passion for what she does and she uses that through her mic work. Even though we haven't see that much of her on the mic, when it comes to the female wrestlers in WWE today, we have seen her speak the most over recent years. I'm sure most of you will remember the promo she delivered on the Total Divas cast; in my opinion that was the turning point in her mic work career. She killed that promo and the passion was so true, so honest and so passionate that all the fans connected with it and everything she said. I think it's also important to point out that it was a non scripted promo so hat's off to her because she delivered on point. She has the natural traits of a heel and that's another thing that shines through when she speaks. Weather she is doing a promo, being interviewed or involved in a segment, she is
the stand out and gives all the other divas a run for their money on the mic.

2) Lana
At number two is Lana. Now love her or hate her she is hands down one of the best female speakers the WWE have right now and have had in many many years. She know's what to do and say to get under the skin of the WWE universe. She has a natural flow to every single promo she cuts and she knows what to say and how to say it effectively. I honestly think she is one of not many divas who are 100% comfortable in her character and knows how to work it best. She has only been on the scene a year and she has already made a huge huge impact on the main roster and it's all come from  her mic work, witch says a lot to be honest. I also think it is key to bring up the fact that the accent she uses on screen is put on. Like you didn't know that already. The Russian accent is so fluent and natural it's very very convincing. Once again just like AJ she makes the perfect heel and know's how to work her character and show it off in the best way using the mic, witch can not be said for many other divas in the locker room.

1) Stephanie McMahon
And finally at number one is Stephanie McMahon. I think it's more than safe to say that Stephanie McMahon is the queen of the mic in the WWE. Over the year's she has graced the mic in the best way possible and her improvement on it has been insane. It's clear that as she has got older she has grown in confidence in herself and as playing the villain. She's realised what she has to do to connect with the fans, to make it convincing, to grip and captivate the audience. She understand who she is and what she is about in the company. She's the one women in the WWE that know's exactly how to get right under the skin of the WWE universe. She's not afraid to take thing's too far and push the boundaries. She can sell any show in ten minuets just by hitting the mic. I honestly think Stephanie McMahon has given us some of the best promo's and segments of the year. Her work with Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella was inane and a true turning point for her and her career. She worked everything she did and has connected with the fans on a real personal level that most of the women in the company can't even dream of.

The most improved Speaker:
When it comes down to has improved the most over the past year on the mic (in the divas division) it is hands down Brie Bella. We all know that at the start of the year Brie Bella was one of the worse actors and speakers in sports entertainment full stop. Her work was flat out painful to watch and I even had to mute my TV at times. Now I'm not saying she is not transformed into a Hollywood actress with the mic skills of a female Bray Wyatt, but her improvement in her mic work alone has been something that cannot go unnoticed. Over the past four or five months or so she has really come into herself and has clearly worked so hard on character, what she's about, her wrestling and her mic work. When she speaks it does seem a little more natural, not as forced or over done. There is time's where she creeps back into that usual mode with her hold habits but she is much much better now and when she was working a feud with Stephanie McMahon she had some of her best work and that was the real turning point for her.

The worse female speakers:
And finally, in mu opinion one of the worse female speakers in the WWE at the moment is Nikki Bella. I will give it to her, she has massively improved both in the ring and on the mic but she is still really struggling in more so the talking department. There is no hiding the fact that she is a perfect heel, and I understand that over the year's she has not had to do much mic work and all of a sudden she has been thrown into the spotlight and she has grown in confidence but there is still a lot of improvements to go through. When she does speak, it still very forced and completely unnatural.I just think she needs to relax more and not try so hard. The less she thinks about what she should say the better her mic work will be.

I want to know what YOU think and who YOU think is the best and worst female speaker in the WWE today and in the past. Let me know by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.
