NXT Superstars that wont hold the NXT championship before main roster debut

Today I'm taking a look at some of the NXT superstars and possibly divas who won't hold either the NXT Championship, tag team championship or Women's championship before being called up to the main roster. Personally I don't think someone has to hold a championship before being called up to the main roster. So far talents such as Bo Dallas, Big E and Seth Rollins have all held the NXT championship before being called up the main roster and have all gone to achieve, well a mixture of different "success" on the main roster. There's also NXT superstars and divas such as Emma and Adam Rose who never held a title in NXT before the call up. Today I hope to give you an insight and weather or not holding a championship before their faces are on the main shows is a good or bad idea and who is likely to not hold gold in the WWE's developmental centre.
First up is the prince of pretty himself Tyler Breeze. Since making he's NXT debut he has had a mix reaction from the NXT universe, but he has managed to truly prove himself, working as an amazing heel, showing he has crazy acting skills and work he's character to perfection. But this year he has really come out of nowhere and proven that he's not just a good actor and pretty face and that he can really wrestle. Being apart of some of the best matches of the year, including an amazing one on one match against Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover and being apart, pulling off a tremendous performance in the Fatal four way for the NXT championship last month at NXT Takeover two, fatal four way and another title match against champ Adrian Neville. He has shown he has an eminence move set and can wrestle just as good as the next guy. He has already been number one contender and has been put in great matches but is yet to capture the NXT championship. With the current storyline's surrounding the championship at the moment it looks very unlikely Breeze will be getting another shot at the championship any time soon and I don't think he would fit back in that picture again to be honest. He's clearly more than ready for the main roster and holding him back to hold the championship would be a waste of time and talent, and he's better off getting the call up. That being said Breeze has been working dark matches for both RAW and Smackdown for several months now and only last week was in a dark match before Smackdown 15. The WWE clearly seem to be very high on Breeze and at only 26 he's a true talent to watch out for and it seems very very likely he will get the call up very soon without holding the championship.
Up next is Sami Zayn. Personally I don't think this is the case what so ever, but after talking to a hand full on twitter it seem's that a lot of you think that Zayn will get the call up very very soon before holding the NXT championship. I think everyone will agree with me when I say the WWE have pretty much taken the piss out of Zayn since he's arrival. He has proven since day one he is main event, championship material and has been worthy of the call up for a year now. Being apart of some of the best matches in not only NXT history but some of the best matches to come out of the WWE in recent years, including matches against Cesaro, Tyler Breeze, Adrian Neville and more. I honestly think he should of been champ a very long time ago. But the reason I think he they will keep him in NXT until he has held the championship before coming up to the main roster is because he clearly wants to and does appear as the face of NXT and the face of NXT has to hold the championship. But with a strong fan base and many people wanting him to come up to the main roster and to be honest there being space for him on the main roster the WWE pretty much have war on their hands with the WWE universe and getting Zayn up to the main roster. But for the simple fact of him being the face it's likely they will have him as the champ especially in the storyline he's in right now.But that does mean how long will he have it for? Witch means he will be there even longer. So it really is a 50/50 topic when it comes to Zayn. But as we all know he is working and travelling with the main roster and has been working as the Bunny for Adam Rose for the past month or so. But what do you think? Let me know!
Crossing over to the divas now and I wanna mention two divas who I think won't hold the NXT women's championship before getting the call up to the main roster, and they are Alexa Bliss and Bayley. There are a couple of other's that I wanna save or part two of this post, but I'm just going to mention these two for this one. So first up Alexa Bliss, Bliss has only worked a thew matches in NXT so far but I can already tell that she will not be holding that championship around her waist. It's not just a character thing but it's an image thing too. If we look at the divas on the roster right now (the NXT roster) Bliss falls behind and trying to fit her in a storyline for the championship is extremely difficult. Maybe if they had her as a heel it may be different. But back to the character thing I honestly think they will have her up on the main roster sooner than you may think. This girl is really talented and has a very impressive move set witch we aint really fully seen yet, but I honestly think that with her character they could easily have her debut in the next year without her holding the title, I do however think she may end up in the run for the title but I highly doubt she will hold it.
and Finally Bayley. I'm new to the hug life, I've only recently became a fan of Bayley after she wowed me at NXT Takeover two, fatal four way last month. The reason I think she may not hold the NXT women's championship before getting the call up to the main roster is not only because she has already had a shot at the title in a major storyline but because she's more than ready. I do think if she is to get he title it will be in a triple threat match not a singles match up and to be honest that would make more sense. There is no doubt in my mind that Charlotte will get the call up first mainly because there is more space for her character than Bayley's as their already over loaded with baby face divas, but with her level of talent and popularity people are starting wonder when she will make
her debut and after her recent performances I shouldn't imagine it's that far off to be honest.

But is holding a title before coming up to the main roster best for superstars and divas or not? Should they hold a title? If we look at Bo Dallas a former NXT champion and longest reigning at that and Adam Rose who only had two matches as Adam Rose on NXT before he's main roster debut the two have pretty much had the same success on the main roster so far.Then there's Big E and Seth Rollins also former NXT champions, Big E basically being a mid carder now after an IC title Reign at the start of the year and Rollins now a main event star I think is mainly comes down to character and popularity. With all three ex NXT champions receiving all different success on the main roster there's no way anyone can say that holding the championship in NXT will secure big success on the main roster.
