WWE superstars who would benefit from NXT

Curtis Axel at ringside
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. As you know it's NXT month here on Talk Wrestling World and throughout the October I have been posting NXT get to knows, top five's, news and gossip post and more. I will as always leave the links to any recent post bellow and you can let me know what you think of today's topic by leaving a comment bellow or sending me a tweet @TezangiVictoria.

Over the past year many superstars and divas have used WWE's developmental territory NXT to better themselves in the ring, as a performer and as a character. Superstars like Tyson Kidd and Cameron are some of the talents that have clearly benefited from NXT, and are two perfect examples of how NXT can be used to better a superstar or diva; with Kidd working on TV for NXT and officially being apart of the NXT roster and Cameron using it backstage to help with training it's evident that it has helped both of them. Since using NXT to better herself in the ring, Cameron has shown clear improvements and looks much more comfortable competing and with her character, and her matches and moves are a lot more fluent and put together. As for Tyson Kidd, I have to admit I never knew before NXT just how talented he is and now I honestly see him as a main event star and it's really opened my eyes to he's talent. All this has been the inspiration and drive for today's post as I take a look at some of the superstars and divas on the main roster who I think will benefit from going down to NXT.

Curtis Axel
First up is Curtis Axel. When I was coming up with my list for this post Axel was the first superstar who came to mind and the first name I jotted down on my note pad. Axel has never really found a place on the main roster and has never really clicked with the fans. In he's defence he's had he's fair share of storyline's including the Nexus storyline, the alliance with Paul Heyman and becoming the Intercontinental champion and the recent tag team paring with Ryback. With all these intresting Storyline's you would think that he would be at the top but he's so far down the roster we hardly even see him and with Ryback out there's simply nothing for him apart from jobbing, and to be honest the idea of having Axel and Ryback as a tag team as never worked and I've never understood why they even thought about putting those together. The sad thing about all this is that Curtis is a very very talented wrestler, so good he trained with the Rock leading up to he's match against Cena at Wrestlemania. He's also a third generation superstar, being the sun of the late great Mr perfect, he has so much potential but with so much competition on the main roster and so much going on big names with big characters being a good wrestler simply is not enough. It sounds harsh but Axel has no personality and there for has no chance of standing out with superstars like Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt at the top who have bags and bags of personality. That's why I honestly think going down to NXT is best for him. He could completely re-establish himself. It worked so well for Tyson Kidd and I really do think it would work just as good for him. It would allow him to work on developing he's character, showing more personality and showing the fan's what he really is capable of doing in the ring, just like what we got from Kidd. He could be involved in some big storyline's that would really allow us to see the best in him and help with he's main roster career.

Rosa Mendes
Up next is Rosa Mendes. Rosa was one of the first diva's I put on not the first, I think you all know who my first was, but she was an early name on the list. Rosa is a diva that just can't get it. She's been working with the company for quit some time now but she's never had her moment and that's simply because her wrestling ability is extremely week, in fact she's one of the worst divas they have on the roster and all of the divas over on NXT are doing a lot lot lot better than her. This year her popularity has gone up since becoming the new cast member of Total Divas and she has been thrown back into the spotlight massively, witch due to her personal issues I don't think is a good thing what so ever. I have to admit however, that since watching her on Total Divas I have grown to really like her and I do have loads of respect for and everything she has gone through, because to come back from all that is a big deal, but no matter how much I like her the simple fact is she's a poor poor wrestler. At 34 years old there isn't much time left for her in the WWE with simply younger and better talent making their way up Rosa is sticking out like a sore thumb for all the wrong reasons. The reality is is that if she was on the NXT roster she wouldn't even be in the ring at the ability she is at right now. The WWE clearly have plans on keeping her around because they have her on the reality show putting her out there more, but she seriously needs some more training. She's looks extremely uncomfortable in the ring and it's just awkward to watch when ever she's got a match. The fact that she's apart of Total Divas now makes it a much better idea to have her in NXT and would really help both promotions in so many ways and at the same time she will get the training and improvements she needs. Taking time off the road will help with her personal issues and allow the NXT trainers to really help re-establish her and work on her and her character and wrestling a great deal.

David Otunga
Next up, David Otunga. Your first questions is probably who? Otunga hasn't been on our screens since Wrestlemania when he participated in the battle royal and to be honest it's a surprise he's still employed, the fact he survived and kept he's job and certain people who got much much more TV time than him is truly unbelievable.  The thing about Otunga is he's very talented but just like Axel there just isnt enough space for him and simply nothing for him at the moment, and with the big big personalities around he's simply just an extra in the company. I do think the WWE have had a couple of chances to squeeze him into something intresting, for example they could of re-established him and had him as the RAW general manager but they didn't do it. I think what it's about is deciding
what they want to do with him, weather they want him competing in the ring or have him doing something else. Personally I think he should go down the manger line, and NXT could really help with that. Having him mange a top heel in NXT would really help him and push he's career, but at the same time they could easily have him work in the ring down in NXT as well. The best thing about David is he's versatility. He can really work practically anything and makes a great great heel, I just hope the WWE find some faith in him and work him more.

Eva Marie
Eva Marie VS Bayley on NXT
The final person will come to no surprise to any of you, it's miss all red everything herself Eva Marie. Right I'm gonna try and cut her some slack here because it isn't really her fault and I've said some...pretty harsh things to be honest, so I'm gonna try and be nice. I honestly think its all down to the WWE and how stupid they have been with her. The girl clearly has hardly any experience in the ring and they have straight away thrown her into the spotlight. I think they should of kept her away from total divas for a while. It was an idea that could of gone two way's, either really good and it helped establish her and get her popularity up or make her look like a complete idiot who no one cared a crap about and sadly for either it went the not so nice way. They've had her work as both a heel and a face on and off throughout her early career witch has just flat out left us confused and most the fans have already made their mind up on her from her first appearances and the way she comes across on total divas. Getting down to the actual wrestling and well, to say the least she kinda sucks. She's not the worst female wrestler in the world and she is growing and developing slowly. I do think she should seriously go back down to NXT however and really take advantage of it. Girls like Summer Rae have really used NXT to their full advantage and it's really worked for him but Eva hasn't done that and she really needs too. I think we've seen her once on NXT and well that didn't go down well at all and the crowd express real harsh hate towards her that left her in tears backstage. I hate to sound like a dick but she's put it on herself. The thing with wrestling is you have to put the hours in and if you don't it shows, and with talent like Paige, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Charlotte, Eva is sticking out like a sore thumb for all the wrong reasons. She needs to take two steps back to move three steps forward. Going back down to NXT will allow her to get the much needed training and most importantly find out who she is a persona and as a character in the WWE and also her work on her confidence witch is so so so important.

So they are my first four superstars who I think would benefit from going down to NXT, but who do you think needs some help from the developmental centre? Let me know bellow in the comments section or send me a tweet at @TezangiVictoria.
