Superstar of the week: Randy Orton

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog, It's Sunday and time for this week's superstar of the week. Last week saw Ambrose claim the number one spot and I will leave the link to that post bellow and yesterday's top five of the week post. As usual you can let me know who your superstar of the week is this week by leaving a comment bellow or sending me a tweet at @TezangiVictoria.

This week my top five was not difficult at all. There where five clear stand out's and to be honest any of them could of claimed the number one spot, but this week is was Randy Orton who made he's way to the top.Randy hasn't been in my top five for a while now let alone the number one spot, but he truly has stood out for me and contributing to what we have seen of him over recent month's I had to have him at number one this week, without a doubt. Orton has had an up and down year, kicking off in a high and ending what looks to be on a low. In the middle of the year he just seemed to start becoming irrelevant, boring and stale, and it's become clear over recent month's that the WWE are not 100% sure of what to do with him next. I have a thew post going up in the next couple of week's on Orton so I wanna save all I need to say about him regarding he's future for those posts. That being said, in he's defence he has had he's fair share of good, well decent matches and has played key roles in he's role as a member of the Authority and has been an intresting asset to the whole thing. He's participation in recent tag matches and handicap matches has been a highlight and in those matches it has been him that has carried them and has stood out the most. He's backstage segments have been intresting too and I have to admit pretty entertaining, really helping push he's future baby face turn and potential feuds for the up coming month's. I have to admit it has been a little slow but the lead up has been good and Randy has played he's role really really well, and it getting the WWE universe excited for what is set to come before the next year.
This week on RAW Randy simply stole the show, hands down. He made us remember he's the legend killer, the viper and we finally got the real Randy back for at least one night. I was so impressed with he's performance on the night and I haven't stopped talking about him all week, making this week's superstar of the week one of the easiest number one positions I've ever done, and that's all just going on one night, witch kinda show's I aint looking for much. What I loved was the flat out story development. There was so much going on with him that I almost felt like the Randy Orton show and for a very very long time I wasn't mainly focused on last week's superstar of the week Dean Ambrose despite the amazing week he has had also. He's segments were really strong and really developed he's future storyline's and feuds that are soon to come. We got to see tensions really rise between him and the Authority witch we have been for a while, hinting he's soon to come baby face turn. The potential feud between him and Seth Rollins became pretty much a guarantee this week when the tension between the two grew to new new levels. We saw them in backstage segments and at ringside of each others matches.
On the topic of matches, this week on RAW Randy went one on one with Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler in what was easily, hand's down the match of the night. It was everything a wrestling fan want's to see, and something we haven't seen on RAW for quit some time, a strong strong, intresting, high quality, long full length WRESTLING match up. What I thought was amazing was the fact that these two haven't collided in the ring for quit some time, there's nothing going on between the two at all and the match was completely out of the blue and one hundred percent random, but it was truly one of the best matches we have seen on RAW throughout the year. And I think the WWE highlighted a big big point witch I hope they bare in mind, and that is that it doesn't matter storyline wise what's going on between two opponents, if you give them a long time slot and chance to really show themselves then you have got a potential match of the year on your hands. The length of the match was just right and to be honest I could of watch them go at it for a full hour. They both got to show case their talents and it wasn't a one sided boring predictable match. It was back and fourth with flat out amazing quality wrestling. By far one of both Randy and Ziggler's best performances of the year. What made it even more amazing was having Rollins at ringside, trust me this week if I could have two superstars of the week I would because both Orton and Rollins were amazing this week. With Seth watching Randy's match from ringside it just added more to it, and the fact he wasn't out there throughout the whole match was a really good move. The whole night was just showing how they are slowly moving Rollins into a new feud and slowly moving Randy into a face turn. The tension was there, the wrestling was there, the story development was there, it simply had it all, and after a hard felt match Orton wound up picking up the pin fall win in true viper style that left me truly fearing for the life of Ziggler.
Later on in the night Orton decided to play Rollins at he's own game and watched he's match against Jack Swagger from ringside, Witch once again had that same affect when the roles were reversed. At the end of the match Orton made he's way into the ring and told Seth to "watch this" as he hit Swagger with an RKO out of nowhere and slivered he's way over to Rollins officially marking the fact that Randy Orton the Viper was well and truly back.
He was also at ringside and got involved in the main event, and it was announced he will be apart of the Hell in a cell main event when he collides with John Cena in side hell in a cell, witch I wont make any comments about.
This week really has been Randy's week, not only did he make RAW he's show but he also became a internet sensation out of nowhere, I thought I would put that in before the WWE go fuck it up this week.So this week Orton climbed to the number one spot out of nowhere just like he's RKO's  but who will be at the top in two week's time, as I will not be having one up next week because it's PPV week this week.
