RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well. Tonight is the official go home episode of RAW, with the first ever Fastlane pay per view taking place this Sunday. As we reach the final stop to Wrestlemania today's blog post is all about predicting what will happen in one of the most important episodes of Monday night RAW. With NXT having their fifth live show last Wednesday on the WWE network (and what an amazing show it was), does that push extra pressure on the main roster talent for tonight and Sunday's pay per view? Will we see a debut of any NXT stars or will we be given a date of an up and coming NXT stars main roster debut? With Seth Rollins public life taking over the internet last week, will that effect him tonight? How will the crowd react to him? And with only three matches announced for the Fastlane pay per view, the show will be made complete tonight when the final matches are announced. How will the likes of Rollins, the Ascension, The Usos, Dolph Ziggler and more be booked for the final pay per view before Wrestlemania? Today, I'm hopefully going to be answering some of those questions and making my bold predictions. Remember Wrestlemania season has now started on my blog and the link to the most recent post an my NXT Takeover Rival Review and reactions post will be bellow. Finally, you can let me know what your predictions are for tonight and what you would like to see in Wrestlemania season by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Throughout the whole of last week, the WWE focused around the Fastlane main event stars, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. On RAW we saw them open and close the show and the same thing on Smackdown on Thursday night. Tonight we can more than expect that to continue. I have mentioned before that I think the WWE pay too much attention to it's main event and should be putting much more effort and attention into it's other feuds/storyline's. I hate having to compare the main roster work to NXT but I have to bring it up again that NXT is a much smaller product and they don't have as much time but they pay an equal amount of attention to everything going on. Tonight, I'm hopeing to see more attention paid on the other current storyline's. That being said, I still doubt that will happen and Reigns and Bryan will still be centre of attention. After Roman Reigns was left the last man standing last week on RAW we can expect to see Bryan gain some extra momentum. What I'm really hoping we don't see (even though we probably will) is more involvement with Kane and the big show. I think I speak for the entire WWE universe when I say I'm more than sick and tired of seeing these four superstars go at it week after week. Whether it be in tag team or singles action, I', more than bored of it and I'm also bored of tag team/ handicap main events. I think the most likely matches tonight are Bryan VS Big show and Reigns VS Kane with both of them scoring wins to gain momentum before Sunday. I really hope we don't get this. There are so many talented heels that the WWE could use tonight to go up against these two including someone like Luke Harper. It's also possible we could get Kane VS Big show after the Show knocked Kane out last week on Smackdown. To be fair these two haven't been getting along since the Royal Rumble pay per view, so the Authority may make them sort their differences out in the ring tonight.

Cena and Rusev
Moving on to the Cena/ Rusev feud (my prediction post for their Fastlane match, went up earlier today and the link to it will be bellow), we know that the two will go one on one this Sunday at
Fastlane for the United States championship. I mentioned in my prediction post that I felt it was important that Cena had a clean loss to Rusev at Fastlane and I still one hundred per cent stick by that. After what occurred during last weeks Monday night RAW, Cena will be on the hunt for some momentum before he's match this Sunday. I wouldn't mind seeing him go up against someone like Luke Harper. Given the right amount of time these guys could easily have the match of the night and if he is set to loose this weekend then he's gonna need a big match tonight. Rusev is also likely to be in a match tonight, most probably against a jobber/ mid carder to put him over and give him extra momentum before he's title defence against Cena. To be honest I think another backstage brawl between the two would be a really nice extra touch and enough to add extra heat to their match.

Divas
This Sunday Nikki Bella will defend her divas championship against Paige and after the NXT Divas put on one of the best women's matches in WWE history if not the best, Paige and Nikki have a lot to live up to. So far, their "feud" has been terrible. I moan a lot about how terrible the divas feuds are, but this feud really has been beyond terrible. It's literally all been about appearance and how they wear make up and how pale Paige is. Once again when you look at NXT, the divas feud down their was all about becoming champion. Being the best of the best and the fans were interested in the match, while this Sunday, Paige VS Nikki Bella, is most probably going to be everyone's piss break. If the girls have any chance in gaining interest in their match they need to change things around tonight. We haven't seen Nikki in the ring for a while and I have heard that's because of an injury but I'm really hoping that she is able to compete tonight. Paige has been on a role over the past couple of weeks, picking up wins over a number of divas including Brie. Nikki needs some momentum going into Fastlane and her title defence and that has to come from tonight's show. If she doesn't compete then she really should be able to cut a promo. The last time Nikki cut a promo it was one of the best diva promos of all time yet they edited pretty much all of it out. Hopefully, tonight if she doesn't Wrestle then she at least gets to cut a solid promo. With what she's being saying on commentary, she could put something really good together. Whether or not AJ Lee will be retuning tonight has not been announced. I still think that a feud between her and Stephanie McMahon should happen this year and even though the likely divas Wrestlemania match is Nikki Bella VS Brie Bella, I really think Stephanie VS AJ is best for business. Also, with tonight's RAW coming live from Orlando Florida, and Charlotte no longer the NXT Women's champion. Will we see the daughter of the nature boy finally make her main roster debut.

Tag Team
I mentioned in last weeks Prediction post that there are currently a lot going on in the tag division. For the past month we have seen some tensions rise between Gold and Stardust and tonight on RAW father of the two and WWE legend, Dusty Rhodes will appear live on the show to try and sort out the differences between the two. This could two ways; we could either see them sort their differences out for now and seem them later go back to the way they have been these past thew weeks, or it could all go wrong tonight and they just end up worse than before and a match between the two might be announce for Fastlane. The build of the Ascension is likely to continue tonight, they had the most impressive performance on Smackdown last Thursday and were eliminated from the turmoil in the best way possible for them. If their in action tonight they are likely to take on either local athletes or Los Matadores. Finally, we have The Usos. It's likely tonight the WWE will announce that Jimmy and Jey will defend the tag team championships at Fastlane against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd after the scored a win over the champs last week. Either another tag team match or a mixed persons tag team match involving Natalya and Naomi is possible for tonight.

Other Superstars
For the couple of weeks Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback have been really struggling to find their way on the roster and get into something solid, and with Wrestlemania around the corner this is not a good position to be in at all. I have mentioned a couple of times over the past thew weeks that I think either Rowan or Ryback could easily go on to win the Andre the giant battle royal at Wrestlemania. Personally, I would love to see a full on Erick Rowan/ Luke Harper feud. The timing is more than right and if given the right amount of time they could put on an amazing Wrestlemania match that could easily be toe of the top matches of the night. As for Ziggler, he's really struggling at the moment. He's been in two outstanding matches with Bray Wyatt over the past two weeks but has failed to score a win in either. We all know that at the moment the WWE are building Bray up for a big Wrestlemania match and so they won't have him loose a match at the moment. Because they have had so many amazing matches there would be no problem booking a match for two once again for
tonight's show or for the Fastlane pay per view. The Build up to Bray Wyatts big Mania match will continue tonight for sure and he's opponent for the biggest night of the year should become even more clear. Finally, we have Dean Ambrose and Bad News Barrett. Now, I'm a huge huge fan of both of these guys but this feud has not been getting enough attention at all. The booking for both these guys have been terrible and we need a big change for them before Wrestlemania. A match between the two might be announced tonight for Fastlane. But to get me excited for the match I'm gonna have to see more tonight.
