RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well. So it's a new week and what a big week we have in store, with Fastlane getting closer and NXT Takeover Rival taking place this Wednesday live on the WWE network, there is a lot to get through this week and we are kicking it all off with my RAW Predictions. As we saw last week, due to Roman Reigns becoming one of the most controversial superstars on the roster after he's Royal Rumble win, the WWE were forced to take some kind of action to calm down the WWE universe and announced that at the Fastlane pay per view Reigns will either face Mr Money in the bank, Seth Rollins or Daniel Bryan with the winner facing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. After going one on one, Bryan was announced the winner against Rollins and will now face Reigns in two weeks time. But how will the actions of last week affect tonight's show? And with the Authority determined to challenge both Reigns and Bryan in the worse possible ways, what will be in store of the two tonight? Also, remember that my NXT Takeover Rival prediction have started already and the links to the ones that have gone up already will be bellow. Wrestlemania season on my blog has also started and the links to the latest post in the season and any recent posts altogether will be listed bellow. You can let me know what your predictions are for tonight's show and what you would like to see in Wrestlemania season by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Last week we saw the WWE try  their best to get back in the good books of the WWE universe when they announced that Roman Reign' Wrestlemania championship match was on the line with the winner of the Seth Rollins VS Daniel Bryan match deciding who would face Reigns at the Fastlane pay per view to determine who will go on to face Lesnar at the biggest stage of them all. After what was an amazing match up, Daniel Bryan was announced the winner and we now know he and Reigns will battle it out on the twenty second of February. On Smackdown there was some tension between the two (my "why turning Roman Reigns heel is the next best move heading into Wrestlemania" post will be linked bellow) as Reigns made it clear he wanted their match to take place right then and there. However, the Authority had other plans and Bryan was forced to compete in a handicap against J&J Security and Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns took on the Miz. With Reigns loosing he's match against the big show last Monday on RAW and having some poor booking we can expect Reigns to be on a roll tonight and start to gain some momentum heading into Fastlane. With the Authority's plans not working out the way they intended and Kane beating down Bryan after he's handicap main event last week on Smackdown I think the main event is pretty predicable tonight. We know how much the WWE love their tag team main events to we can expect either, Bryan and Reigns to team
up to take on Kane and Seth Rollins or a handicap match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan VS Seth Rollins, The Big Show and Kane. Either way, tonight is all about putting Reigns over and after Bryan was put centre stage last week it's most likely he will be the one to score a big win tonight, and the tensions between him and Bryan will start to grow even more. After all, only one of them is taking on Lesnar next month.

NXT
As I already mentioned, this Wednesday, live on the WWE Network, we will see the next live NXT show and we have a rather insane line up. With this card we could possibly have one of the best WWE shows in history. Now over the past year or so the WWE have been showcasing the stars of NXT on RAW and main event and whenever there is a live show they do normally have a little NXT match or an NXT Superstar or Diva make an appearance to promote the live show that is taking place later on in the week. We can more than expect the same thing to happen tonight. When it comes to whoo will be making an appearance it literally could be anyone on the entire roster, any one of them could be trusted to compete on the main roster for the night and put on a solid performance. With Adrian Neville and Charlotte most likely to be the next to come up to the main roster, an appearance from either on them is likely. When it comes to popularity, Sami Zayn and Bayley have to be two of of the most popular NXT stars in the history of the promotion and so an appearance from either on of them tonight would sell the show easily. But then we also have stars like Baron Corbin who really could do with some extra popularity and some momentum going into Takeover. Or the more popular choices of either Kevin Owens or Finn Balor. An appearance from any of these superstars or divas would make anyone want to buy the Network and watch the show. It would be nice if they had both a Diva and Superstar from NXT make an appearance but that does seem like I'm asking for too much, but we all know that whoever does arrive tonight on RAW, they will steal the show.

Tag Division
There is currently a lot going on in the WWE tag division, but nothing truly amazing to be honest, especially when you look at the TNA tag division at the moment, but there are a lot of storyline's at the moment. We have some tensions between Gold and Stardust. Now, I have been saying for a thew months now that I just want Cody back. I'm more than bored of the Stardust gimmick now and it does seem like the WWE are slowly pushing out Stardust and bringing back Cody Rhodes. For the past couple of weeks we have seen Goldust begin to refer Stardust to Cody and Stardust costing them a couple of matches. If the WWE do have any plans on bringing back Cody, we will see the tensions between the two brothers continue tonight. We then of course have the build up of The Ascension, we have so far seen them score wins over a bunch of local athletes, the new age out laws and Gold and Stardust. I have said a thew times that it's just a matter of time they are put in the tag team championship picture and I do think that around Money in the bank maybe sooner, these guys will be the tag team champions. But at the moment the WWE still need to focus on building them up and that will continue tonight, most probably against more local athletes or Gold and Stardust again. We have also seen more tensions grow between the Miz and Damien Sandow, with Sandow getting closer to he's full on baby face turn and turn on the Miz. Finally, we have the current tag team champions, who are feuding with Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. You all know by now how I feel about Kidd and Cesaro as a tag team and what I want to come out of the two working as a team but I do have to admit that they are doing a great job working together and are proving to actually be a great tag team, but I do feel the same. It's likely to be announced tonight that the two teams will battle it out at Fastlane for the WWE Tag team championships. With two strong weeks, Kid and Cesaro continue to build momentum. After what was shown on Smackdown last week we may have a mixed tag team match between The Usos and Naomi VS Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, and Natalya.

Bad News Barrett and Dean Ambrose
With the main event picture beyond full, Dean Ambrose has been left in the mid card section of the roster and as we saw last week, has entered  feud with Intercontinental champion, Bad News Barrett. Now, I'm not happy at all about Ambrose having to go down a little on the roster, and seeing im face Curtis Axel last week was painful to say the least, but there is no doubt about it, Ambrose will still be a major, main event star. I said it last week and I will say it again, with he's level of popularity and talent, the WWE cannot afford to let him and the WWE universe down. Putting him in the picture for a shot at the IC Championship is a really good idea. He already has a win over the current champ and so rightfully has a title match, and the two do have pretty good chemistry. Also, on a quick note, these are two of my current favourites, so I may be a little bias. I do worry though, that if they give Ambrose a title match he has to win. He has suffered too many big loses' and feuds and he cant afford to add this one to the list. If these two go one on one at Fastlane for the championship, Ambrose has to win. The feud between these two will defiantly grow tonight and their title match for Fastlane may be announced. Barrett is in need of some momentum. He scored a great win over Sin Cara last week on Main event but we need more from the champ, a backstage brawl will really work for me and when these two do meet in the ring, I honestly think they will really compliment each other in the ring. Ambrose is going to need a much stronger match tonight.

Divas Action
It was announced a couple of weeks back that Nikki Bella would be defending her divas championship at Fastlane against Paige and the build up has officially began. Now, the WWE are known for their terrible diva storyline's and it's pretty clear they don't intend on making any changes. What frustrates me the most is how well the NXT divas are showcased compared to the main roster. If we take a look at the current divas storyline for the NXT Women's championship. There's no pathetic, typical diva nonsenses; it's all about four amazingly talented female wrestlers chasing after one thing, the NXT Women's championship. But on the main roster it's all about tanning divas because their too pale. I also mentioned in my NXT Reaction post last week how much it frustrates me that the divas on the main roster get such little time. NXT is only a one hour show yet they manage to fit in to pretty good divas matches while the main roster have a three hour show and the girls struggle to get five solid minuets to sell their match in the best way possible. Anyway, Paige

scored to wins last week but after being embarrassed by the Bella's tonight is all about Paige getting some revenge and maybe giving the Bellas a taste of their own medicine. It would be nice to see the champ in action and gain some momentum but apparently she has a slight leg injury. If we get two divas matches we are likely to see Cameron go one on one with Alicia Fox, considering there was some heat shown between the two last night on Total Divas.

Other things to think about heading into tonight's show include, more heat in the Cena/Rusev feud, with Cena likely to be in some kind of match tonight to gain momentum and we may see the two collide, if not this week then next week for sure. Bray Wyatt and he's rather strange messages will most likely continue tonight and it should become clear as to who is talking about even though I have convinced myself that he is talking about the Undertaker. And finally they roles of Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan for Wrestlemania and Fastlane will become more clear during tonight's show, maybe Rowan ad Axel will go one on one allowing Rowan to gain some momentum.

There's no sign of Orton, AJ Lee or Sheamus returning but we could see Bo Dallas back on our screens, he's been out of action for a while following an injury.
