Fastlane Predictions: Roman Reigns VS Daniel Bryan

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you are all well. This Sunday the WWE will present the first ever Fastlane pay per view, live on the WWE Network (remember all knew subscribers get the whole of February free). It was announced late last year that the Elimination Chamber pay per view was no longer going to be taking place and even though I was upset about the news at first the reality of it is is that there is no need for the show any more. Anyway, this week is officially prediction week and witch means throughout the next six days I will be uploading my predictions for each match on the card. You all know by now this is something I do monthly for every pay per view and they seem to be pretty popular. None of the posts in my prediction series have been influenced by any of my followers or readers but I would love to hear what you all think. Wrestlemania season has also already started on my blog. I was going to start the series later but I decided to kick start everything almost a month early, so lucky you. The links to any recent posts will be listed bellow including my NXT Takeover Rival Review and Reactions and my recent post in Wrestlemania season. Finally, you can let me know what your predictions for the show are and what posts you would like to see in Wrestlemania season by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria. I will also be live tweeting on Sunday throughout the show.

This Sunday, winner of the two thousand and fifteen Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns, will go one on one with the peoples favourite, Daniel Bryan for the chance to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania thirty one for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After he's controversial win a month back at the Royal Rumble pay per view, the WWE had no option but to reason with the WWE universe, as the Authority announced live on RAW that Reigns Wrestlemania championship match was on the line with Bryan and Mr Money in the bank Seth Rollins going head to head with the winner facing Roman Reigns at Fastline for the chance to face Lesnar for the title. Even though I'm far from a fan of Roman Reigns and I wasn't happy in the slightest about he's Rumble win, the fact is, is he won the Royal Rumble. He worked he's way to the top and rightfully earned the shot to headline Wrestlemania and I do think all of this is kind of a slap in the face to Reigns. However, on the other hand, I do think this is really giving Reigns the time to shine and really prove himself. I recent uploaded a post all about why turning Reigns heel is best for him, and I will insert some comments from that post in this one but I will leave the link to the full write up bellow so you can go check that out if you haven't already. Over the past couple of weeks we have honestly seen some of the best mic work from him ever. He really has come into himself as a character and on the mic. This weekend Bryan will force him to show more in the ring, witch of course is the next big, important step. It's vital that Reigns proves every time he is put in front of a crowd that he is worth the hype. That the WWE made the right decision in having him win this years Royal Rumble and that he is the right man to take on Brock Lesnar at the biggest pay per view of the year for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. He needs to be pushed in the ring, forced to show much more and perform on a level he ever has done. Daniel Bryan is the perfect person to do all of that and bring out the best in him. He has already done so with he's character ad mic work and I don't doubt for a single second he cant do the dame with he's actual wrestling. With Bryan's in ring style, Reigns will be forced to up he's game and deliver on a level he hasn't done yet. He has a lot of momentum on he's side but of course the fans are almost one hundred per cent behind Bryan. The match itself needs to be a long one, Reigns needs to show more diversity in he's move set and he needs to show that he can hack a tough match and be pushed to he's limits. The fact he is facing Bryan of all people does mean
that he is coming across like the heel anyway, witch by the way is not a bad thing what so ever considering Reigns always comes across better when he works as a heel. He now needs to act like heel when he wrestlers. We need to see an even tougher Roman Reigns. It's clear this match is all about Reigns, but Bryan will most certainly be the one carrying this match. I'm also predicting an interruption. Last week the WWE hyped the return of Sheamus. I'm predicting that this weekend we will see the return of Sheamus. I have mentioned before how important it is he returns as a heel, and a top one at that. There would be no other way to push him as a top major heel than have him interrupt this match. What I'm expecting is he will somehow cost Bryan the match, setting a feud up between the two and a match at Wrestlemania. I did a blog post on why a feud between these two would be best for them both and I will also leave the link to that bellow so you can check that out. Even if Sheamus does somehow get involved it's important Reigns stands out. A clean is needed, one hundred per cent. What they could do is have Reigns win cleanly after what has to be he's best performance to date, they could then show Bryan ins pain after the match struggling to leave the ring and then Sheamus comes out to what looks like is going to be to help him but he then attacks him. I don't know, something along those lines might be likely. However, there has been some rumours of a Bryan VS Ziggler feud for Mania and with Ziggler not in anything strong at the moment this is extremely possible. If we are going to see anything between either of these superstar for Wrestlemania then it will kick start this weekend Either way, this match has to steal the show in order for Reigns to prove he's is worthy of he's place at the main event of the biggest show of the year.

Content from "Why turning Reigns heel is best next move heading into Wrestlemania"

"The WWE universe have made it clear they do not have the belief in Roman Reigns that he can go one to become the top guy in sports entertainments biggest promotion, well not at the moment anyway. The reaction he got at the Royal Rumble pay per view was on of the worse reactions I have seen in recent years. But the WWE really could use that in their favour. Turning Reigns into the bad guy really would make a lot of sense. Half of the WWE universe cant stand the guy as it is and when he becomes the WWE World Heavyweight champion at Wrestlemania (witch we all know he will) can you imagine how angry everyone is going to be even though we have all been predicting it for months and can see it coming. If Reigns can use a little of the character he has in NXT, the cocky, arrogant, better than everyone else, person, it would really get under the skin of the fans even more but at the same time it would really work. It will allow him to really shine and show everyone that he's  worthy champion, and we all know he works better as a heel so the mic work will be much much better. I also think turning him heel in time for Wrestlemania, will also allow him to grow. If we look at stars like the Rock and Sheamus they all used that process of going from good to bad to becoming some of the best wrestlers in the WWE. The exact same could work for Reigns. If they want him to be the next big huge baby face then kick starting him  as a top heel may be the way to go. There's no need to rush him to much just yet. Cena is still around and still standing strong, if they just slow down a little and let him grow then he could very easily follow in the footsteps of Cena but has to show improvements and he has to show is worthy of being the next top guy and he hasn't done that yet. Working as a heel will allow him to be much more diverse and show a lot lot more and also  allow the fans to build more a connection with him."

"There's no doubt about it, Daniel Bryan is the biggest baby face in the WWE right now and he has been for a couple of years. The fans just freaking love him. We all now know that at the Fastlane pay
per view Bryan and Reigns will go one on one for the chance to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Now, Bryan is key in Reigns turning heel and all round improving as a performer. Already we have seen so much better character and mic work from Reigns just through the tensions between him and Bryan. He's work on RAW and Smackdown this past week has been some of the best mic work we
have seen from him ever. I mentioned a thew times recently that I think the best thing Reigns can do is go by the phrase, less is more, because it really is with him. The more laid back attitude he has had recently has allowed him to pull off better promos/segment performances while before when he was thinking about it too much and trying to sound as best as he can it wasn't working at all. Now, the tensions between Bryan and Reigns are really working in Reigns favour. When the two go one on one at Fastlane, Roman really is going to be pushed to he's limits and forced to step it up a notch. The angrier he gets with Bryan the more he comes a across as a heel and the better he's work is. Bryan will be key in Reign showing more in he's move set, showing more character, selling well and improving all-round."
