5 Superstars who should get Intercontinental championship shot

5) Tyson Kidd
Now I know this one is gonna be a little bit if a surprise to a lot of you, especially if you don't watch NXT but trust me I have my reasons so bare with me. First off if you don't watch NXT I suggest you start and you go back and have a look at the past several months, once you do you will understand why Tyson Kidd is Kicking off this list of five superstars who should get an intercontinental championship shot. Over the past I'd say five/six months Tyson Kidd has been working in NXT as a main eventer heel and what an amazing job he's been doing. He's one of the top heel's there and he's been working like crazy, being apart of some of the best matches of the year and one of the best fatal four way matches I have ever seen. Before NXT I had no idea how good Tyson was and just considered him to be bellow mid card but now there is no doubt in my mind that Tyson Kidd is a main event star. That being said the WWE wont bring him back up to the main roster and throw him into a match with John Cena, however there would be no harm in bringing him back up and putting him straight in a feud with IC champ Dolph Ziggler. This would reinforce him as a heel and show the main roster viewers that he is now a heel and finally show the world the true talent that is Tyson Kidd. At the moment there's no need for Kidd to really be down at NXT, he's kinda done all he needed to do and would be a great move to bring him back up to the main roster. A lot fan's now know how amazing he is in the ring and how much of a high talent he is so a lot of people would love to see him at the highest he can be on the main roster. And come on guy's imagine a twenty minuet match between Dolph Ziggler and Tyson Kidd, heck give them three minuets and they will blow your mind away. I really don't think Kidd has much time left in the WWE and this would be great to end he's last thew years there. He would be a great IC champ and he would finally get the wrestling and TV time he deserves.
4) Rusev
At number four in my top five superstars who should get a Intercontinental championship shot is Rusev. Personally If this was a top five for the US championship Rusev would probably be number two or even number one because I could talk all day about how much sense it make's for him to be the US champ but I also think it would be a great idea to have him as the IC Champ too. He has proven this whole year both on NXT and the WWE main roster that he is a strong competitor in the business and the WWE seem to take him seriously. He had a slow start on the main roster with connecting with the crowd and having good matches but over the past couple of month's he's really grown on me and I have to say I'm slowly becoming a fan. He's work with Swagger really did make me wanna see him with a championship around he's waist, well in he's case maybe on he's shoulder. He's more recent feud with Mark Henry was done really well and he came across amazingly in the ring. He's move set is pretty impressive and I honestly think and he and Ziggler could have an amazing match and would steal the show. I also think they would really compliment each other in the ring. The best thing about Rusev is he's all wrestle. He has Lana to do the talking and what an amazing job she's doing. Her and Ziggler could have some very intresting segments. Rusev as champ would really split the fan's but either way we would all be interested and would all wanna see who he would feud with next. I keep moaning about championships meaning nothing in the WWE now day's and I really think he would change that brining meaning back to it and a purpose. It would push him a lot and would prove he's not just here to destroy careers and will be able to stand out as championship material. Rusev holding the IC championship would do wonders for he's career.
3) Bo Dallas
Number three is Bo Dallas. Over the past month or so Bo has been working with Jack Swagger in a little feud. It's clear the WWE aint paying that much attention to this and to be honest it hasn't been that great. Bo had he's best match in this feud and has come across, well intresting. Since coming up to the main roster I've been really disappointed with what the WWE have done with him, he was so big back in NXT being the longest reining NXT champion and now, well he's jobbing to Jack Swagger. He has a great gimmick and has a good connection with the crowd and fans. The thing with Bo is he's an all rounder, he's quick, he's young, he's a fast learner, good on the mic, and a very talented wrester with a good move set. He work's he's gimmick very well and it's a shame that the WWE are not taking him as seriously on the main roster, but that can change so easily. They could do so much with him if he had a championship around he's waist and it would show him to be a superstar to take seriously on the main roster. With Bo as the Intercontinental champion it allows him to really stand out and make he's mark in the WWE. The fans will know he's a superstar to take seriously and deem as championship material.If there not going to make him a main eventer witch they clearly wont then the best they can do is have him as a mid carder holding a championship like the IC one. He would finally get the attention and ring time he deserves and most importantly the respect.
2) Bray Wyatt
At number two and just missing out on the number one spot is Bray Wyatt. I had to have Bray in this top five list. Don't get me wrong their is no doubt in my mind that Bray Wyatt is a main event star, he's WWE championship material and there is no doubt in my mind that he will be on of the most must see superstars and a future hall of famer but at the moment the WWE are not putting him in the picture for the WWE championship and what better thing to do than put give him the Intercontinental championship. This would be a great move to make and a big move in he's career and for the WWE. Bray is yet to hold a championship in the WWE and I really do think the IC title would be perfect and they could do so much with him as champ and could do so many storyline's with him holding the title. Now day's most people associate the IC and US championships for mid carders and we all know that Bray Wyatt is far from a mid carder, but when we look at the history and the people that have held the title, were looking at names like Stone Cold, The Rock, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho and so many more, who were very very far from mid carders, these names are main eventers, former world and WWE champions, hall of famers and future hall of famers. Bray Holding the championship will allow the business to reinforce the importance of the title and people would view as a serious championship. The idea of it being for mid carders would be thrown out of the window and it will become intresting to fans again. It would also be a great way to kick of he's career as a champ and could/would really work in he's favour. And holding this championship will prove he really does have the whole world in he's hands.
1)Damien Sandow
Finally at number one is Damien Sandow. When it came to my top five superstars who should get an intercontinental championship shot Sandow was always going to be at the top of the list. I think the whole world know's just how much I love Sandow and have been a big fan of him way before he's Main roster day's in the WWE. I'm always moaning about how little respect the WWE show him an how they really are wasting serious talent with Sandow. He has been given stupid gimmick after stupid gimmick and he has pulled off every one. Over the year's he has developed a strong fan base and a lot of people are despread to see Sandow used to he's full potential. It has frustrated me for years now how the WWE treat him, he's a great perform, strong on the mic, can pull of any gimmick and has amazing wrestling ability with an impressive move set, all you have to do is look at he's FCW work alone to see that. He's current work with The Miz as he's stunt double is a perfect idea and I've been all for it from the beginning. I think the WWE have had so many big opportunities to really push him but this one has to be their strongest. It's clear that they wont have him as a main eventer, but having him hold the IC championship at least is very very easy to do and work so well, pleasing a lot of fans. As the Miz just lost the IC championship a second time to Dolph Ziggler they could do so much with pushing Sandow leading too him becoming the new champ.They could have him turn on the Miz, he could get a win over Ziggler giving him a title shot, there are so many other ways they could do it so they should just do it. No one wants to see Miz and Ziggler got at it any more and this is the perfect time to push Sandow and to be honest I don't think they will get it again. Sandow has been working he's ass off for years especially this year, so WWE push him and make him your next Intercontinental champion.
