The real star of the Wyatt Family
Since the Wyatt family made their mark in the WWE they have been a force to be reckoned with. They have taken one of sports entertainment's biggest companies by storm and have been proven to be a big big hit with pro wrestling fan's all over the world. But why? What make's this unusual faction so gripping, so entertaining and so watch able? The awnser is simple , there's no one like them around at the moment. Their raw, new and fresh. They bring hope to not only the tag and faction division but to World Wrestling Entrainment as a whole. Over the past couple of the year's the WWE has lost a lot that rawness, That pure wrestling ability with a haunting yet captivating character and this time around we have not one superstar fitting this bill but three. Since their arrival in the WWE just over a year ago all three members of the Wyatt family have blown away the WWE universe. From insane mic and promo skills, to unbelievable wrestling ability, Harper, Rowan and Bray have taken over the main roster. However with such power and dominance their can only be one leader, one main attraction, one top dog. Since the get go the WWE has made it clear that this man is Mr Bray Wyatt and to be fair, why not? On paper he sound's like the perfect pro wrestler and the perfect man for the job and he does not disappoint in the ring. He's young, he's a third generation superstar with a strong sports background, he's quick and strong with a wide move set, that's not to mention he's insane mic skills. It has become very very clear that Bray Wyatt is one of the best speakers in the WWE at the moment, in fact he's one of the most skilled actors and speakers we have ever seen in the WWE. He work's he's character in a way that no one else can. That connection he has with a mic is something you can't just teach and the connection he has with the crowd and fan's all around the world is once again something that can't be taught. In the space of a year Wyatt has feuded with big time hall of famer's including, John Cena, Kane and Chris Jericho, where Bray picked up big big win's and managed to be apart of not only some of the best matches of he's career so far but some of the best matches of the year! He has provided us with some of the best promo's and mic work in WWE history and has really grabbed the attention of fan's world wide, and has made me a fan for life! But with all that being said, is there a star hiding in the three some? Is there someone else who is truly stealing the lime light a little more than Bray?
First of all let's take a look at the weak link; for me there is someone who is clearly sticking out as the weaker member of the Wyatt family and the man is Erick Rowan. Now don't get me wrong I think he has eminence potential and with more Television and ring time he could easily go on to be one of the most intresting dominating characters and wrestlers in the WWE, But at the moment he's sticking out like a sore thumb being with Harper and Bray who are miles ahead of him. He just seem's to be lacking that something that Harper and Bray have. We haven't heard him speak so we don't know how weak or strong he's mic work is, but to be honest I like the idea of him not speaking. He's wrestling ability is lot lot weaker than Harper and Bray, and he lacks that diversity Luke has. Rowan also struggle with crowd interaction has the weakest connection with live crowds and fan's. But as I said earlier I do think that with time he will develop a lot, he just need's more solo matches and longer time in the ring.
But for me I think there's a secret top dog. Behind all the outstanding promo's and heavy feud's there's a different, real, true star of the Wyatt family, that man being Luke Harper. I've expressed on numerous occasions over the past several month's how much I love Luke Harper and have been a fan of he's way before he came to the WWE. At one point he was my superstar of the week and I have done a get to know on him witch I will leave the link to bellow so you can get to know a little more about the dark horse of the Wyatt family himself. Now if you haven't seen Harpers work from the Indies I advise that you check it out as soon as you read this because trust me you have seriously been missing out! I honestly believe that we are yet to see the best from Harper and trust me when we do he will blow your mind! But why do I think he's the true star of the Wyatt family? The thing with Harper is he's the gel. He's the one of the three that keep's it all together. Whitest Bray is all out their being put in main event and huge feuds, and with Erick Rowan brining the freak sense and horror vibe it leaves Harper bringing that rawness. That true wrestling and character skill that to be honest we hardly see in WWE. He's skill is insane and week after week even though I'm very aware of he's work before the WWE he still manages to shock me with exactly what he can do in the ring. I remember twitter blowing up when he first did a suicide dive in one of he's matches, I remember just thinking what the actual f***! And that's what I love. I love watching a wrestler that can wow us week after week and bring/show something new; a wrestler who genuinely shock's you with what he does, who make's you think and believe they cant do a particular move because of their height and weight but does so out of nowhere, Harper does that time and time again. If we look at singles matches and tag matches he has been a true stand out and has done some stuff in the ring no one ever thought he could do. He's also proven to be a fairly good worker on the mic and has a connection with the crowd that as I mentioned before Rowan doesn't. When we also look at the history of the Wyatt family, Bray is still yet to hold any championship in the WWE and he is also yet to be put in a feud for the WWE championship. However Harper and Rowan held the NXT tag team championship's before fully coming over to the main roster and feuded with The Usos for a thew month's for the WWE tag team championships. On both occasions it was Harper who was the stand out and kept everyone interested. It's that unpredictability factor that he has that keeps fan's wanting more.I really do hope the WWE know the talent they have with Luke Harper and they give him the TV/ring time he deserves. He has proven in the past (before WWE) that he and Dean Ambrose can work amazingly together and have outstanding matched, so hopefully we get to see these two in a half an hour match and strong strong main event feud one day. I honestly believe that without Luke Harper their would be no Bray Wyatt and no Wyatt Family. But what do you think? Who do you think is the star of the Wyatt family?
