Night Of Champions Predictions: Seth Rollins VS Roman Reigns
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. I have for you my seventh (I think) post in my Night of Champions prediction series. It's time to look at the new boy's, the match up between money in the bank winner Seth Rollins and one of the biggest baby face's in the company Roman Reign's. This match was announced last week after Rollins was involved in a attack along side Randy Orton and Kane on Reigns. I think this is actually a good idea but the WWE ruined it this past Monday on RAW witch I will go into more detail about later on in the post. After Ambrose was written out of the WWE for a while, while he goes off to film new WWE studio film Lockdown, Seth (The man who got rid of Ambrose) would hold a eulogy for Ambrose that Reigns would soon break up and attack Rollins. This led to Reigns being in handicap match later on in the night. I like the idea of Reigns fighting for Ambrose but I still do think Reigns need's to be put in a good strong new feud, something that will really make him sine and push him to be even better. He has a lot of momentum on he's side heading into he's match this Sunday at the night of champions PPV, with a big victory over Randy Orton at last month's PPV Summer slam and several strong matches and victories he has picked up also. As for Rollins he too has a fair share of momentum on he's side he, has some great matches to bounce off of and the fact that it was him who not only defeated Ambrose at the second biggest PPV of the year but the following night he got rid of him in a barbaric attack. He's got a good win over Sheamus and some other good matches on he's side. I think the WWE made a big big big mistake this past Monday on RAW when the two went head to head in a singles match. It was so stupid having a night of champions match on RAW only a thew days before the actual show. It was a great match don't get me wrong and Reigns picked up a good win, but it completely destroyed the point of their much for Sunday and took away a lot of heat and interest in the match.They proved on Monday they can have a great match together and really steal the show but it was pointless and was a big mistake on WWE's behalf, it would of been better to of had them both in separate matches or maybe have Rollins at commentary whilest Reigns had a singles match, it would of added more heat and interest to the feud and would of really got everyone excited and ready for their match on Sunday. However the two having a match on RAW has led me to believe they maybe the match Sunday may not even happen. With Ambrose due to return very very soon it's no crazy to think and predict that Ambrose will return Sunday at the night of champions PPV either at the beginning of the match so the match doesn't even happen or in the middle of the match so it end's in DQ. This does make sense, a lot of fan's really wanted to see Reigns VS Rollins and the WWE couldn't afford to not give us the match, so it would make sense for them to give it to us on Monday so we do get the match just not at Night of champions Sunday if that's what they plan on doing. If the match does go ahead I think it's likely Rollins might pick up the win but to be honest it really could go either way and it would make sense for either of them to win and they could do a lot with either one of them picking up the win. However knowing the WWE it will probably be Reigns who pick's up the win if it does go ahead. In my opinion I think it would be better if they didn't have the match. After their head to head match on Monday I've kinda lost all excitement for it. It would pretty cool if the match did happen and at the end Ambrose came back but I'm just getting my hope's up now. Once again if this match does go ahead the two have already proved they can have one heck of a match and could easily have one of the best matches of the night on Sunday.I'd rather have Rollins pick up the win so that's who I'm rooting for.But what do you think? who are you supporting? what are your predictions?
