Diva Feuds The WWE Must Give Fans

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World! As you all know we are kicking thing's off here on my blog with Women's month as we take a look into the female talent of the world of pro wrestling from the past, present and future. I have several post scheduled to go up and I hope you guy's are enjoying this serious. I mentioned in my changes coming to Talk Wrestling World blog post that I want to dedicate each month to a particular group or series so feel free to leave a comment below letting me know what series you would like to see this year! For today's post, I'm going to be talking about diva feuds that the WWE must give fans. This is a post I have been thinking about writing up for month's now but have not gotten around to actually doing it so hopefully you guy's like it. I will leave the links bellow to any recent post's from the series so you can keep all up to date. When we go back in history one of if not the biggest divas feud of all time has to come from WWE Hall of famers Trish Stratus and Lita. The two women changed the idea of female pro wrestling and ever since the company have tried to give fans a storyline between to divas that lives up to their work, from AJ Lee and Kaitlyn, to Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella to Paige and AJ Lee, but there is yet to be two divas that step in the ring and steal the spotlight just like Lita and Trish did. There are a number of reasons why this has happened. One of the biggest reasons is simply a change in direction. Back then, Lita and Trish were able to main even an episode of Monday night RAW when now the female talent struggle to get ten minuets of TV time a week. The use of women in the WWE has changed dramatically and they are now considered to be sex symbols and reality stars instead of strong, talented wrestlers. However, despite the changes over the years, there are still many fans who dream of seeing certain women battle it out in the middle of the ring. In today's post I plan on taking you down a little journey of diva feuds the WWE must give fans, explaining why they have to provide it and why the WWE universe want to see these feuds to much.


First up is two divas that have already stepped in the ring with each other on two separate occasions; they of course are former divas champion Natalya and current NXT Women's champion Charlotte. The two girls have two huge names to live up too as Natalya coming from Wrestling royalty the Heart family and Charlotte being the daughter of two time hall of famer  Ric Flair. Straight away these girls have a lot on their back and a lot to live up to, but history has proven that both women are more than capable of doing their family name proud. At NXT Takeover the two battled it out for the NXT Women's championship in what was not only the divas match of the year one of the all round best matches of the year but one of the greatest divas matches of all time. They simply took it to another level and fans are still talking about how outstanding the performance from the two girls was. They then met again in the ring in a special NXT promotion match witch of course was much shorter but they still managed to tell a story. A full on feud between the two is more than meant to be. These girls were born to compete against each other and the WWE simply cannot deprive the WWE universe of possibly one of the greatest diva feuds in history. With Charlotte set to make her main roster debut in a matter of months if not weeks, there is no reason for the company to not put the two in the ring together once again in a full on storyline. There would be no better way to restore faith in the WWE divas division than having two divas from huge families in the business battle it out in an almighty feud. It would be the perfect opportunity for Charlotte to cement a strong career on the main roster while at the same time pushing Natalya aka the most talented women on the main roster at the moment. The storyline doesn't have to be about a championship if the WWE didn't want either of the girls holding the title; they could easily make it about their family name. This would be the perfect way to get the fans to take the division seriously and would be the perfect retiring storyline for Natalya to come back to when she leaves.


Up next we have one of the most talked about and anticipated divas feuds of all time. AJ Lee VS Stephanie McMahon. For a couple of years now the WWE universe has been begging for a full on feud between arguably two of the most popular women in the WWE. If you was to ask a thousand WWE fans what divas feud they would like to see I would bet any money they would say a Stephanie McMahon and AJ Lee feud. Weather you're a fan of either of these girls or not you want to see them feud. The WWE have made little hints over the years of a feud between the two but nothing has come of it yet. I think the reason everyone wants these two to battle it out is simply because these girls are the top dogs. They have this connection whenever there on screen together that leaves you wanting more. That obvious tension between them leaves you begging for them to knock seven doors out of each other.Storyline wise, there are bags and bags of things the WWE could do. It's just about actually doing it. I personally don't think the WWE would miss out on this opportunity. It would be such a big thing and such a success, this could even be Wrestlemania quality.


We all know how much better NXT are at show casing their female talent. From the get go, the developmental territory has thrown their divas right in the spotlight putting them in lengthy, outstanding quality matches allowing them to showcase the very best of their skills. The most memorable divas feud in NXT was between Paige and Emma. The two has some of the best divas matches in the history of not only NXT but the WWE as a whole. However, since arriving on the main roster the girls have received the typical main roster diva attention with Emma getting the worse treatment of the two.What I would love to see is a full main roster feud between the two. I feel so sorry for Emma and the people who never saw her work down in NXT because they have no idea just how talented she is. I would go as far to say she is one of the most talented divas on the entire female roster. I would love to see these two go at it one more time in a full on feud and this time on the main roster. It would finally allow the entire WWE universe to see just how good these girls are in the ring and how much they can bring to the divas division.
