Total Divas Review and Reactions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World. It's been a while since I have written a Total Divas review and reactions post but with last night Total divas returned to the E! Network and with two new additions to the show the second half of season three was set to be pretty explosive and episode eleven did not disappoint what so ever; and therefore I'm back today with my season three episode eleven Total divas review and reactions post. Now, these will hopefully be up every Monday at this exact same time. There may be weeks were things have to change up for example pay per view weeks on those type of weeks I will probably upload this review and reactions on the Tuesday or Wednesday. Also, as you all probably know  this month is Women's month on my blog but this post doesn't count as part of the series. I will leave the link's bellow to any recent posts so you can stay all up to date on everything. And finally, you can let me know what YOU thought of last nights returning episode of total divas by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

 Returning.....
Last night hit reality show Total Divas, made it's return for the second half of season three. This time round both Summer Rae and Naomi have been axed from the show despite being shown throughout last nights episode but not having an verbal lines. The now full cast will consist of Nikki and Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Cameron, Rosa Mendes,  Natalya and new cast members Alicia Fox and Paige. Last night only saw Paige arrive on the scene and I should imagine that next week we will see Alicia arrive on the show. The retuning episode focused around the Bella Twins of course, as the truth about what happened with Brie and her family and John comes out witch of course leads to more drama's. The show also focused around the arrival of Paige and her relationship with Natalya. Rosa, Eva, Cameron and Alicia were shown in little areas of the show but nothing major and some didn't even get any verbal moments during last nights episode.

The arrival of Paige...
A thew months back it was announced that former divas champions Alicia Fox and Paige would be joining the cast of Total Divas when it returned in January of this year. Last night's episode saw Paige debut on the show, Alicia Fox is still yet to make her proper debut on the show. Paige's first episode basically focused around her relationship with veteran Natalya. They went down the storyline of Natalya eating some pot brownies and her acting kinda crazy over it and after deliberately crashing into a dumpster  (amongst all the other crazy stuff) Paige finally revealed to Nattie that it was all just a joke to try and get her to lighten up. I don't know how I feel about this to be honest. Even though the show is aimed at a more older audience the core WWE audience are quite young and having a pot brownie storyline is clearly going to be very controversial but that being said I could not stop laughing. I think Paige had a great first episode and she really changes the feel of the show. It just feels more young and fun and not so serious and depressing. It's nice to have someone in a reality show who's not there expressing their one hundred dramas to the world and has lightened up the show instead.  As for Natalya, once again she's coming across not so well. They did this in season one with Eva Marie, then Summer Rae in season two and now Paige in season three, it's as if they want her to come across as this top veteran that hates the new girls and I just don't like it. Hopefully things change up and they start to show her in a better more new light but with what they showed of what is still to come in the season it doesn't look as if things are getting better for Natalya and the way she comes across as the season continues.

Bella Dramas...
The main focus of the show of course was the Bella twins. The mid season finale ended with Nikki and John separating/going on a break and last night's episode basically continued on from that point. The main focus was Brie and her family keeping it a secret from Nikki that they had been the ones to talk to John and try and get him to change when it just ended up back firing. During the whole thing, once again it was Brie who came across really bad. I don't know why the show does this but they seem to always focus on making Brie and Natalya look really bad and I really hope that changes for the obvious reasons. After watching Nikki "in pain" for a while Mother Bella told Brie it was best she told her the truth and so what better time and place to tell your twin sister you basically told her boyfriend to leave her than at a lovely family dinner. As predicted everything blew up and Nikki lost her s**t with her family, mainly Brie of course. I think you all know how I feel about the Bella's and this show. I would love to have at least one episode where they aren't the centre piece of the show. They then showed the two completely falling out and Nikki laying down the law saying she didn't want to speak to Brie or have anything to do with her but while at work she will be professional. They then of course showed the Nikki heel turn at the Summer Slam pay per view but didn't show Paige winning the Divas championship again witch I really didn't like.

The return episode was pretty good. I love the addition of Paige and  I think she's really gonna change the feel of the show. The closing moments showed the storyline's the show would be going down for the rest for the season including the tension between Paige and Natalya growing, Eva not wanting kids and getting a boob job, the on going relationship between Nikki and John, Rosa being attracted to Paige, the arrival of Alicia Fox and plenty plenty more. I will be back this time next week with another full review and reactions post for Total Divas Season three episode twelve.
