Top 5 Knockouts Champions Of All time

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope your all well. So, January is women't month on my blog and as you all know I have been dedicating the month to the amazing and not so amazing girls in the world of professional wrestling from TNA to WWE to the awesome girls in the independent scene. Today's blog post is another top five in the series as I give you my top five TNA Knockout champions of all time. Over the years there have been some amazing women to hold the title from Awesome Kong to Tara to most recently Havok and Taryn Terrell but today it's all about naming the best of the best. 5)  Awesome Kong
Kicking off my top five knockouts champions of all time is one of the first champs, Awesome Kong. It was back in two thousand and eight that Awesome Kong first one the championship when she defeated Gail Kim, making her only the second women in history to hold the title. She would then capture the title again later on in the year (October) when she defeated Tyler Wild who took the championship off of her back in June. These where the only two times that she held the championship but I had to have her in the list. The feud between Awesome Kong and Gail Kim was one of the best knockouts feuds of all time and truly did define both of their careers. Kong brought something different the title, she brought feat, strength and meaning. She made it a challenge to capture the title and made it mean so much more in the division.



4) Madison Rayne 
In at number four is Madison Rayne. I have to admit I have been very up and down with Madison. At the start of her career I wasn't really a fan at all, but then I just kinda grew to love her and her earlier match with Angelina Love was probably the turning point, it was then I probably started to become a fan. Madison first one the Knockouts championship on the eighteenth of April when of course she defeated Angelina Love. Since then she has managed to capture the title another four times! Making her the second women to hold the championship on the most occasions (if that makes sense, you know what I mean!). Weather if your a fan of hers or not you cannot deny the fact that Madison Rayne is one of the best Knockouts champions of all time and one of the all round best Knockouts of in history.



3) Mickie James
Up next at number three is Mickie James. I have pretty much been a Mickie James fan from the get go. I loved all her work in the WWE (mainly her early stuff with Trish, things got weird towards the end of her WWE career) and her work in TNA was even better. Being in some of the best knockouts matches of all time including one of the very very best where she took on Tara in a steel cage. Mickie first won the championship on the seventeenth of April, two thousand and eleven and won it again a little later on in the year in August. The last time Mickie was champ was back in two thousand thirteen when she knocked off Velvet Sky.



2) Angelina Love 
At number two in my top five Knockouts champions of all time is Angelina Love. Angelina is simply one of the all time greats, Weather if you love her or hate her you cannot deny that fact. For years she has been the face of the TNA knockouts division and her work outside of Impact has made her one of the best in history. Angelina has held the title the most out of all the knockouts at a record making six times! The time she captured the title was back in two thousand and nine when she knocked off Awesome Kong of all people. She then re-captured the title from Tara after loosing it to her in the same year. Wining it on four other occasions and being in some of the best storyline's in the history of the Knockouts division makes her one of the best champs of all time.



1) Gail Kim 
Finally, at number one is Gail Kim. There is no doubt about it, Gail Kim is one of the best female wrestlers of this generation or in fact history. Although her career in the WWE wasn't the best she has
made history in TNA and has been the focus of the knockouts division throughout her time there. She has been in some of the best Knockouts storyline's and matches even to this day with her recent work with Taryn Terrell. She's athletic, she can take to extreme levels and well she's freaking hot as hell. Gail became the first Knockouts champion in two thousand and seven, she's also the longest reigning Knockouts champion and a four time champ. She knows the business inside out and her career is far from over. There is not a single doubt in my mind she will match Angelina as a six time champ very soon.
