Diva Predictions for 2015
Diva Debut's
My first prediction is all about debuts! Over the past year we have seen some truly amazing divas matches on NXT from the likes of Charlotte, Bayley and Sasha Banks. With many girls set to join NXT TV this year all three ladies are likely to debut sometime in the new year,weather it be in early months or right at the end of the year. The current feud between Banks and Charlotte has seen some of the two's best work and has been some of the best stuff we have seen from Sasha in particular. The WWE have already shown great faith and belief in both girls allowing them to compete on Main event a couple of weeks ago and actually giving them a decent time in the ring. They have both proven to be more than ready for the big stages and bigger crowds. Bayley is in the exact same position. Despite currently being out of action due to an injury she has proven over the past year to be a seriously talented women in the company with a wide move set and huge following. Out of all three girls I think Bayley could be the one to debut later one just because I still think there is a lot more to see of her in NXT but I could be wrong and they could do an Emma on her. Banks and Charlotte could easily be put in a feud that would showcase their abilities. Personally, I would love to see Sasha and AJ Lee go at it. I honestly think the two would have so much to show and could really compliment each other in the ring. No matter what I think its safe to say at least one of these girls will be arriving on the main roster in two thousand and fifteen and they will shake up the division for good.
Naomi's Moment
The next predictions is about the divas championship and who I think will hold it. At the moment Nikki Bella has the title wrapped around her waist and with the title being tossed between Paige and AJ Lee for the past year it's nice to see a new women hold the title. But who will be next? With a clear change happening in the diva division other women are starting to pop into mind. Will Sasha Banks and/Or Charlotte get to hold the title in their debut year? Will AJ Lee and Paige be put back in the spotlight and given yet another reign? Or will the WWE finally shake things up a little? All these questions are important going into two thousand and fifteen. When I think about who should get a shot and title reign this year and who I would like to see as the champ, only two names pop in mind. Can you guess who they are? Well of course its Natalya and Naomi. I have written post after post about these two and tweeted so much about how underused they are. It's clear these are the two most athletic and strongest in ring performers the WWE has on the main roster and as a whole, yet one of them has only held the title once and they other not at all. At the moment there seems to be little hints that Natalya will get a shot at the title very very soon (again), weather or not she will actually hold the title is another thing. Creatively, this would really work. There's so much the WWE could do with Nattie as the champ. A feud with Paige would be a great start. It appears that the two will continue to show some issues in the friendship on total divas witch will help boost heat between the two and if any of you have seen these two in the ring together you will know what amazing work they can deliver in the ring. They had one of the best divas matches in years down in NXT a while back. Also, with Charlotte coming up to the main roster, Natalya holding the title could set up another Flair/Heart
rivalry and after their outstanding match last year at NXT Takeover there's not a single person in the world who wouldn't wanna see these two on opposite sides of the ring again. As for Naomi, I think she's gonna have a great year. At the moment she's doing a lot of on screen work with Jimmy and Jey (The Usos) and this could really work in her favour. I have said previously I don't like the idea but my mind has changed completely. Getting more time in the ring thanks to her husband is seriously going to help Naomi and give her the push she needs and lets face it the WWE have used the relationship between a diva and a superstar in the past and it has seriously paid off just look at AJ Lee and Brie Bella. I honestly think it's just about being patient. Trust me this is going to be a huge year for Naomi.Charlotte/Natalya Feud
It's pretty clear that some time this year (maybe sooner than we think) current NXT women's champion Charlotte will be making her debut on the WWE main roster. When she does it's going to be important she is put in the right Storyline/Feud. When you think about it there is only one women for the job, Natalya. As most of you would of seen, back at NXT Takeover last year, these two put on one if not the best divas match of all time and ever since everyone has wanted to see these two go at it one more time and this time in a much bigger feud. Despite helping Charlotte out this past week on NXT with Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch these two have made it clear they are in ring enemies for life and the war between the two is far from over. I honestly think a feud between these two is Wrestlemania quality. The WWE have a serious chance to change the idea of the divas division for good, as both of these girls could single handily make it a better division and allow the fans to actually have something to be excited about when it comes to divas. In an ideal world I'd love to see Natalya capture the championship at the Royal Rumble Pay per view and for Charlotte to make her debut soon after putting them in a major storyline leading up to Wrestlemania and giving them a huge match on the biggest stage of them all. I know it's very very unlikely, close to impossible even, but this would be a serious opportunity for the WWE and changing the perception on their female talent and the treatment they get. The reality of it is, is that it doesn't matter when Charlotte debut's these two must feud. The WWE could be stupid to let this slip through their fingers as these girls could give us one of the best diva feuds of all time.
Bella Rivalry
There is not a doubt in my mind the WWE will have Nikki and Brie go at it again and it will probably re-appear when Nikki drops the title. I think we can all agree the Brie heel turn was completely out of nowhere and it made no sense what so ever. The feud between the two was not a huge hit with the WWE universe and I don't think anyone really wants these two to be put in another feud again. However, I really think Brie needs to be a baby face. She's much better suited for it and it just makes more sense. I like the two together at the start of their career with the whole twin magic thing but when they got their own identities it was clear it was time for a change altogether. I think when and if they have the two split again the feud won't be such a big thing as it was before and will probably accrue either when Nikki looses the title or when Daniel Bryan comes back to action. They may be all smiles now but one thins is for sure, weather we like it or not, these two are not done with each other yet.
What's Next for AJ Lee?
Over the past three years or so AJ Lee has dominated the WWE divas division, completely being the centre point in everything. She has either held the title or been chasing for two straight years and with both a strong baby face and heel run the question simply is, what is next for AJ Lee? Already, she has done so much in her career and finding something even better this year is gonna be a struggle. I mentioned already in this post that I would love to see her and Sasha Banks go at it and I don't think I'm alone on this one either. The NXT announce team have compared Banks to Lee on several occasions, almost every time she's in the ring in fact and it's clear its a popular choice of diva feuds amongst the fans. The other feud almost everyone from the WWE universe wants to see is AJ Lee VS Stephanie McMahon. The WWE have teased a feud between the two for quite some time now coming and going with it but the fans have wanted it from the get go. I talked more about this in my "Diva feuds the WWE must give fans" post and I will leave a link to that bellow so you can go and check that out and see what I think in more detail. With Stephanie returning to the ring last year in her feud with Brie Bella the idea of a Stephanie/ AJ feud is not off the card.
Total Divas
I have written so man many posts and tweets about Total Divas and what I think and I will leave some links bellow to where I did so, so you can get a little glimpse of what I think personally, but I honestly believe this is going to be a huge for the divas division and Total Divas plays a huge role.With Paige and Alicia Fox being added to the show we could really see a lot more changes and hopefully more TV and ring time for the girls. The more popular it gets the more people want to see of it and the more people want to actually see the girls wrestle. There's also a possibility of Emma joining the casts, mainly because of how much we have already seen of her in the show and how many girls have either been on it or are still on it and what it does for their careers.
