RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World and also welcome to the firs RAW Predictions post of two thousand and fifteen. I can't wait to really kick start this year and make Talk Wrestling World even better! January on my blog is officially women's month as you would of already seen and I'm glad you guys are all liking the series. This is going to be an on going thing. Every two months I will be dedicating that month to a particular subject/topic, feel free to let me know what you would like to see in the upcoming months down in the comments bellow. Even though these series' will be around I will still be uploading my regular posts hence the reason my RAW Prediction post is still going up today, this week I will also be brining back my top five superstars of the week and also match of the week. Tonight the WWE will present the first episode of Monday night RAW in two thousand and fifteen and we can expect some rather intresting stuff to go down as the road to the Royal Rumble pay per view and of course Wrestlemania really kick starts. You can let me know what your predictions are for tonight's show by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria. Finally, as usual, I will leave the links bellow to any recent posts so you can keep all up to day.

Tonight the WWE will present the first episode of Monday night RAW of two thousand and fifteen and with the road to Wrestlemania officially undergo we can expect a show dedicated to the Royal Rumble Pay per view (witch takes place in a matter of weeks) and building up fresh feuds heading into Wrestlemania season. Last week's show saw the return of Bad News Barrett as he took on the Swiss superman himself, Cesaro. We also saw Brock Lesnar make another live appearance and of course the return of the Authority. And with Total Divas making its return to TV last night featuring new cast members Alicia Fox and Paige ( I will leave the link bellow to my total divas review and reactions) how will all this play into tonight's show? Let's take a look at the possible outcomes, matches and even fresh feuds as two thousand and fifteen begins in the WWE.

As I mentioned, last week saw the return of Bad News Barrett as he took on Cesaro to quickly put him over in he's return match . The match itself was actually pretty good and Barrett received a great reaction both in the arena with the live crowd and from everyone at home online. It's seems very unlikely that the two will be put in a feud simply because the WWE seem to be stuck on the idea of having Cesaro and Tyson Kidd work as a tag team, I'll talk more about this later on in the post. Tonight, Barrett will carry on he's journey to building momentum and weather or not he will definitely be working as a baby face from now on will be verified during tonight's show.

Over the past couple of months the WWE have been focusing their attention on building up Cesaro and Tyson Kidd as a strong legitimate tag team. However, the idea doesn't seem to be going down all to well with the WWE universe. I myself am not a fan of the plan what so ever, I keep saying it but you can't but two superstars together and think there gonna become an amazing tag team, despite how amazing they might be as singles, it doesn't work like that. In my opinion this is just another Ryback/Curtis Axel situation. That never worked because they were simply meant to be singles competitors and its the same with Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, these guys are amazing singles competitors and that's what there suppose to do, putting them in a tag team just doesn't work and they are proving that every time they step in the ring. However, putting them together does set them up for a feud against each other in the future so hopefully that's the direction the WWE plan to go down. With the Ascension making their main roster debut last week on RAW (I will leave a link bellow to a post I recently did on these guys) it's likely Tyson Kidd and Cesaro will take them on tonight to show they can defeat top guys on the roster and at the same time pushing them as baby faces. If the Ascension don't take on Cesaro and Kidd tonight it's likely they will have a re-match against The Miz and Damien Mizdow, witch seems more of a possibility. Either way tonight is really important for the Ascension. With a weak crowd last week they need to be pretty impressive tonight and hopefully they get a much stronger live crowd reaction. last week also saw the Usos become two time tag team champions after defeating The Miz and Damien Mizdow. Weather or not Damien and The Miz will get their re-match against the Usos for the championship tonight has not yet been announced.

Last night saw the return of Total Divas and I will leave a link to my review and reactions post that I put up earlier today. Judging by last night's episode it's likely Paige and Natalya will have a one on one match to show more tension between the two as more is set to come with them in the rest of the season. With Brie now on Nikki's side I doubt we will see any tension between those two tonight despite what was shown on last night's episode. Last week AJ Lee tweeted a picture indicating she was on vacation, I doubt very much she will be back in action this week that means the hunt for a news number on contender for a shot at Nikki's divas championship is still undergo. I doubt Natalya is still in the picture after her loss to Nikki last week so maybe a new divas feud will start tonight.

It was announced during last week's episode of RAW that Dean Ambrose would be going one on one with Bray Wyatt in an ambulance match to end their on going feud. I have mentioned time and time again both on twitter and here on my blog that I think the WWE ruined this feud. It had so much potential and such high standards but the WWE failed to live up to those expectations and standards and it just didn't work. Despite the amazing match ups the feud just fell flat and with such little attention being put in the storyline it just became predictable, boring and repetitive. There's no doubt in  my mind that these two will have an amazing match tonight and will hands down steal the show but at this point I feel like we've seen it all now. I think when this feud does and tonight they both need to be put in a storyline much more relaxed and not so extreme, especially Dean. Dean's a great technical wrestler and because of all the crazy barbaric storyline's he's been getting we haven't been able to see that and it's all been extreme. What they need to do next is strip it all back, go a little old school. Who he will feud with next is a big question, with Sheamus retuning soon and in need of a serious heel turn this could be the road to go down for the two of them, but with so many big baby faces now, it's going to be difficult getting him into something strong and solid and with Roman Reigns being the current centre of attention it makes it even more difficult. The same goes to Bray, I do think the Bray Wyatt baby face turn will happen sometime this year, but I can't see it happening any time soon what so ever.

When it comes to returns I can't see any this week. It was recently reported that Orton was injured at a live show pushing back he's return date a little more and there has been no news on Sheamus having a return either.

After he's heart warming speech last week, Ryback has managed to connect with the WWE universe much much more and tonight the feud between him and Rusev will continue for sure as their future one on one match comes closer. The tension between the Big Show and Roman Reigns will probably continue tonight also. The WWE are likely to announce that that the WWE Network will be coming to the UK and Ireland on the 19th of January as Vince McMahon announced yesterday on twitter.

Finally, last week saw the dramatic return of the Authority after John Cena was left with no choice but to reinstate them after the barbaric actions of Seth Rollins. Tonight will see the official return of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H as they take back their place at the top. How this will effect the main roster superstars is questionable but we all know it's going to be pretty big. The first name that pops to mind is John Cena. The WWE could go two ways with this but it's likely to go back to square one with Cena receiving punishments from the Authority, and he will probably be placed in a big match or be apart of the opening segment for sure. He's royal Rumble match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight championship will also be plugged like mad tonight. Seth Rollins should be in for a good night tonight and he's role for the Royal Rumble pay per view should become slightly more predictable after tonight's show. Another name that pops to mind is Dolph Ziggler, after all it was him that scooped up the win for Team Cena at Survivor Series. Tonight we could see hints of a Ziggler heel turn to come in the next thew weeks and of course we will probably see him punished in some way, weather if it's a crazy match with some kind of stipulation, a match against someone like the big show or a title defence match.
