WWE Main Even Review and Reactions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you're all well. I have a slightly different post for you today, yes it's a review and reactions post but this will be my first ever Main Event review and reactions post. I mentioned at the very start of the year that I wanted to write up more post and change things up a little and that included adding NXT,Main event, TNA and Smackdown review and to the regular upload time table. If you like the idea of these been added to the weekly upload time table than let me know so I know weather or not to keep writing them. Some weeks these might not be uploaded until late on in the week. I will leave the links bellow to any recent posts so you can keep all up to date on everything. Finally, you can let me know what you thought of last nights show by leaving a comment bellow or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

Last nights episode of main event saw three match ups, Nikki Bella VS Paige, Fandango VS R-Truth and Jack Swagger VS Titus O'Neil. They were all pretty good with an amazing divas match up that will shake things up for the Royal Rumble pay per view witch takes place in a thew weeks time. The announce team consisted of JBL, Cole and Booker T witch I had a huge problem with. I have no idea why these guys are doing the show, the WWE should be using NXT and Superstars to showcase the young, up and coming broadcast talent if we have Renee and Tom doing Superstars than why can't we have them do Main event or Byron Saxton or Corey Graves or even Jason Albert and William Regal. Hopefully this is something that changes in the new year.

Nikki Bella VS Paige (none title match)
The first match of the night was a none title match against Paige and current divas champion Nikki Bella, with Natalya and Brie Bella at ringside. Going into this match I was not expecting a lot what so ever. I think we were all expecting the usual five minuet rubbish that we always get from a divas match but this was amazing! They had a solid twelve minuet match up witch allowed them both to really show what they can do in the ring and most importantly Nikki was able to show why she deserves to be the divas champion. The crowd were actually strong, they showed actual interest in the match and everyone online gave the girls a good amount of support. This was by far the best divas main roster match in ages and when I say ages I mean AGES. Nikki dominated most of the match and showed really good strength. There were a thew times it was a bit awkward and a thew moves didn't quite work as well as they would of wanted too but all round this was a solid match and they proved that its all about the amount of time they get in the ring. The girls get so much heat for their in ring ability when they clearly proved last night that if you book the divas right they can put on a great match. Paige ended up picking up the win. This now means both Natalya and Paige have a clean win over the divas champion and both deserve and are entitled to a title shot. It's likely there will be a triple threat for the championship at the royal rumble pay per view in a thew weeks time or even a fatal four way if they really wanted to shake things up by adding Brie to the mix. The past couple of weeks the divas have got much more time in the ring on main event with Sasha Banks VS Charlotte then last night Paige VS Nikki and hopefully this is a sign of better things to come for the divas division as Nikki tweeted out after her match last night.  Even though they are only getting the time on main event hopefully later on in the year they will be able to have matches like this on RAW and even on pay per view.

Fandango VS R-Truth
Up next was another one on one match with Fandango and R-Truth. Out of the three matches this was the weakest one. These two have been going at it each against each other for a thew weeks now in little matches and to be honest they haven't been all that bad, there's been worse put it like that. They had some greats spots and they book looked good in the ring but once again it was Fandango who scored the win. Expect both guys to be in the royal rumble also.

Rusev's Announcement
Rusev also made he's first TV appearance of the year last night when he addressed Ryback and the WWE universe. I don't know weather or no the WWE will have the two continue their feud when Ryback comes back but I think you all know I personally would rather not see them carry on feuding. I also wan't to quickly say how much I like that Rusev is getting more time on the mic, he's sound a lot better and much much more confident and with Lana still playing a major role, these two are really growing on me. Rusev also announced he will be entering the Royal Rumble match in two weeks time.

Titus O'Neil VS Jack Swagger
The last match of the night saw Titus O'Neil go one on one with real American, Jack Swagger. I don't know about you but I really liked this match. It wasn't the best in the world, no, but it was a solid match between to amazing superstars who are extremely underrated and underused. Swagger dominated most of the match and gained a little bit of momentum with just how dominate he was and he of course had the crowd on he's side. Despite dominating most of the match it was Titus who picked up the win. There has been some rumours of Titus getting a huge push and over the past couple of week's scored some really nice little wins and even though they're only small victories they really are going to work for him and help build him up. I have to admit I'm a little worried the push is too long, he's not the youngest superstar on the roster and with so many young, up and coming stars arriving on the scene I hope they have good, strong plans for Titus because creatively there's a lot for him to do.
