RAW Predictions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World, I hope you're all well. This weekend the WWE will present the first pay per view of the year, the two thousand and fifteen Royal Rumble match, making tonight's episode of RAW the official go home show for the live pay per view. Tonight's show is all about gaining some extra momentum before this Sunday and building some new feuds for the Wrestlemania season. Tonight will also see the reunion of a bunch of WWE hall of famers from the likes of Hulk Hogan to the nature boy himself Ric Flair. Because it's pay per view week, throughout the whole of this week leading right up to the Royal Rumble day itself I will be uploading my predictions for each match set to take place on the night. I will also be doing up to four parts of separate predictions for the actual Royal Rumble match, going into more detail about what I think will go down. The first prediction post went up today and I will make sure to leave the link to that bellow alongside my final post in my women's month season witch saw me discuss how far the WWE divas division is allowed to be intresting. You can also let me know what YOUR predictions are for tonight's show by leaving a comment bellow or  by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

So tonight is the final episode of RAW before the Royal Rumble pay per view this Sunday and as more superstars announce themselves as official entrants tonight is all about building momentum and kick starting new feuds for the Wrestlemania season. Tonight will also see a legends reunion as names such as Ric Flair, Scott Hall ,Hulk Hogan and many many more make an appearance on tonight's RAW. We should also get the announcement of this weekends divas match up and after another explosive episode of Total Divas last night (My review and reactions post for that will also be linked bellow) we will see how things play out for the divas division. We will also get an even bigger idea of who is most likely to walk out of this years Royal Rumble the winner and The Usos will be on the hunt for some momentum heading into their title defence match this Sunday.

RAW Reunion
Tonight, a solid bunch of WWE legends and hall of famers will take over Dallas, Texas, for the RAW Reunion. The current line up consists of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn and many more. The last time the WWE ring had a host of legends in it some trouble was caused to say the very least. How will the legends make an impact on tonight's show? Will they give the stars of tomorrow some advice heading into the Royal Rumble match? Or we will see even more crazy stuff than the last time. What the legends have in store for us tonight is yet to be announced but we all know it's going to be pretty epic. I can also announce that the charges were dropped over the Kevin Nash issue and he will also be appearing on tonight's RAW. There may be a small chance the New Age Outlaws team up to face the Miz and Damien Mizdow. However, I think would be amazing if they had them take on the Ascension, no better way to silence the haters and give the new tag team even more heat than have them defeat one of the best tag teams in the history of the WWE. They could easily go down the line of having the new age outlaws interrupt another promo from the Ascension and because the outlaws are so mad at what Konnor and Viktor have been saying about the Road Warriors they could challenge them to a match on the night.

Total Diva Drama
The past couple of weeks have not been all that good for the current divas champion Nikki Bella. Suffering two losses to Natalya on RAW and Smackdown a loss to Paige on Maine event, it's likely tonight the WWE will announce that she will defend the title in a triple threat or fatal four way (if they decided to add Brie Bella to the mix). Both Paige and Natalya have a rightful shot at the championship and it will be intresting to see what happens when these three collide in the ring at the same time. After last nights explosive episode of Total Divas witch saw the tensions between Paige and Natalya grow, it could be intresting seeing what happens between the two tonight, with the possibility of one turning on the other. Also, if you are not aware, the WWE are currently re-pushing Summer Rae this time as a baby face to we can expect to see her new persona grow this week, but I doubt she will be on RAW tonight unless they have her job for Nikki. One other quick thing to mention is that there was a picture recently tweeted out from a live show of Nikki's leg heavily bandaged.

Dark Days for Rollins?
Last week Seth Rollins dominated every show and became my second superstar of the week, I will leave a link bellow to my top five superstars of the week post. In the closing moments of RAW, Rollins curb stomped both John Cena and Brock Lesnar, while also scoring a win over Cena earlier on in the night. Then on Smackdown he once again main evented and was also in a segment with Paul Heyman, I will also leave my Smackdown review and reactions post bellow. After insulting the reigning champ Brock Lesnar on two separate occasions we can expect the beast in carnet to be on the search for both momentum and pay back on the self proclaimed future of the WWE. There is no way the WWE will have the champ walk into the Royal Rumble pay per view with the least momentum and while we are on the subject of momentum after a poor week last week we can expect a lot of John Cena tonight, both a promo and a main event match are likely to be on the card.

All about that tag division
This Sunday the Usos will defend the tag team champions against The Miz and Damien Mizdow and after a poor weak last week it's all about momentum building for them tonight. A one on one match between Jimmy and Damien would be great booking for the obvious reasons but I think it's more likely we will see another mix tag team match, a random six man tag or a simple promo from the Miz and Mizdow and a momentum building match for the Usos like a tag team match against Gold and Stardust. There's also the Ascension. For the past thew months the WWE have been building up Konnor and Viktor having them compete in squash matches with local competitors. Last week we did see a little more of them in the ring and hopefully they will have a little more competition. Now, I think it's all about putting your money where your mouth is for the Ascension. They need to prove to those who doubt them and are not familiar with their work that they are worth the hype and are future tag team champions.

Other superstars to pay attention to tonight include Dean Ambrose. After suffering a loss to Rusev last week Ambrose needs something strong to bounce off of going into the Royal Rumble match. It's clear that Ambrose is one of the favourites to win the Royal Rumble and of course needs some added momentum going into the match. Also, if the WWE plan on turning Ambrose heel this weekend then it should become more clear tonight. Other favourites to win the Royal Rumble are of course Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. Last Thursday saw Bryan return to in ring action on Smackdown as he went one on one with Kane and then competed in a six man tag team match to main event. Tonight Bryan is set to take on Kane once again and if he looses he will not be able to compete in the two thousand and fifteen Royal Rumble. I think we can all agree this match is pretty predictable. Bryan will one hundred per cent win cleanly but it does mean Kane will need some momentum on this weeks episode of Smackdown. And finally will Roman Reigns and the big show collide again before this Sunday? A tag team match seems likely to take place tonight, maybe Ambrose, Cena and Reigns taking on Show, Rollins and maybe Bad News Barrett if we're lucky. I would honestly love to see that much but it seems pretty unlikely we will see them put Barrett in a main event match up.
With the Royal Rumble taking place this weekend, the WWE would be stupid to not bring back Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback before the pay per view considering they are much needed for the show. How they will bring them back to fit into the storyline may be difficult unless they have them all compete in singles matches and if they win their matches they get to come back to work.
