Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World. So it's finally the end of the year, December is here and it's a huge month here on my blog. As you will already know, throughout the month I have been giving you my official top five's, tens and twenty's of the year, including matches, superstars and divas. As I have mentioned before, kind of like my own version of the slammys. None of the posts in this series have been influenced by any of my reader or followers and the each on has been judged on my own opinions and notes over the past year. However, I would still love to know what you think. So leave a comment bellow or tweet me at @TezangiVictoria letting me know what is YOU'RE match of the year. I will leave the link's bellow to any recent post so you can stay up to date and check them out if you haven't already done so.

20) Cesaro VS John Cena ( RAW February 17)
Up next is John Cena VS Cesaro from the February 17th episode of Monday night RAW. This match was honestly the true turning point for Cesaro and he's main roster career. Before this match Cesaro was considered to be just another mid carder with clear talent but with hardly any good ring time there was not much to judge him on. When the match was announced between the two I honestly was considering turning over the TV channel for a while because I knew it would be another match to squash a good talent, but I'm so glad I didn't. Cesaro owned this match hands down and carried it the whole way through. He may not of have one but he was the stand out of the match and of the night and everyone was commenting on how much respect they had gained towards him. The WWE had finally let strong talent get  the ring time he deserved. He showed an insane move set and outstanding strength. This one match secured Cesaro a strong thew months. The near falls and insane athletic and wrestling ability is what really made this match.Since this night everyone has viewed Cesaro in a different, more positive light.

19) Charlotte VS Natalya
Coming in at number nineteen is the second divas match in my top matches list and my first an only divas match in my top ten matches of the year, coming from Natalya and Charlotte back at NXT Takeover. This match was hands down one of the best divas match the WWE has ever seen if not the best divas match the company has  seen. What I loved about it was show it was advertised as a main event match. It was a long twenty minutes witch is far from what the women get on the main roster. This match was more than two amazing athletes competing to be the NXT Women;s champion, this was about two women competing for their family name and for the legacy. With Ric Flair and Bret Heart at ringside, everything was on the line. The match itself was perfection. Both divas proved women can do what men can do only better. There was constant submissions, and counter after counter after counter. The girls took the action up top, outside the ring and to the ropes. And the showing of respect at the end was the icing on top of the cake.

18) Bad News Barrett VS Dolph Ziggler (RAW June 23)
Coming in at number eighteen is the Intercontinental championship match between Dolph Ziggler and Bad News Barrett back on the 23rd edition of Monday night RAW. We hardly see title matches on RAW now days so I never really have high expectations of one when we do get it, however back in the start of Summer Barrett and Ziggler stole the show with their title match for the IC championship. They may have completely different styles in the ring but the two complimented each other so well in the ring it was amazing. The mixture of grappling and brawling made this match extremely strong. Their was something very unique about this match but what I noticed was it just got better and better as it went on and it left me wanting to see more, and when a match leaves you begging for more you know it was a good one. The match made us want to see them step in the ring more and many people including WWE themselves agree this is one of the best matches of the year.

17) Brock Lesnar VS The Undertaker (Wrestlemania 30)
At number seventeen is one of the most shocking matches in WWE history. It of course is the end of the streak match between the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. The build up of this match was as strong as any other Undertaker Wrestlemania match. As usual the crowd and everyone at home were 100% into this match and even though we always expect the Undertaker win there is always that little bit of you that thinks the streak will end. Well this yea that part of you was right. The actual match itself was pretty awesome. The physicality was insane and the Undertaker looked as amazing as ever. The ending was a risk to the company but it was truly amazing and with the anticipation being so high one of the best matches of the year.

16) Tyler Breeze VS Sami Zayn ( NXT Takeover)
Up next is another NXT match and this time it come's from the NXT Takeover match up between Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn. I know there might not be many people who agree with this list being in my top twenty by but personally this was one of the best matches of the year. It was the true turning point in the career of Tyler Breeze. Before this match a lot of people just saw Breeze as a good looking guy with a good character and average wrestling ability, however he completely changed that idea and proved he was on to watch and was clearly one of the most talented superstars on the NXT roster. The match was back and fourth back and fourth and with so much at steak the crowd got really into the match up.

15) Batista VS Daniel Bryan VS Randy Orton ( Wrestlemania 30)
We are half way through part one in my top twenty matches of the year and up next we have the Wrestlemania main event witch saw Randy Orton defend he's WWE World Heavyweight championship in a triple threat match against Batista and Daniel Bryan. This build up to this match was amazing and the storyline altogether was one of the best of the year. After competing earlier on in the night, things were not looking too great for the peoples favourite, Daniel Bryan, however, he had one of the best performances of the night, in fact the best performance of the night. The match was truly epic, the crowd were so into the match and so was everyone at home. The passion was like no other  both from the WWE universe and the superstars, and when Bryan was sent through that announce table I think the whole crowd died a little. The ending was truly special and was one of the most amazing moments of the whole year.

14) The Shield VS Evolution ( Extreme Rules)
The number fourteen spot is filled by the six man tag team match between two huge factions, The Shield and Evolution. I know there is a lot of people who would disagree with me and say that their  Payback match was better than their extreme rules match but I honestly think otherwise. There was something more entertaining and interesting about this match. It was almost one hundred per cent unpredictable. The excitement was unreal and I remember waiting all night for the match to happen. The whole WWE universe were split in half with one side rooting for Evolution and the other rooting for the Shield. The match was a true highlight in the careers of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. The match was crazy with the action taking place all over the arena and the Shield picked up one of the biggest wins of their career so far.

13) Daniel Bryan VS Triple H ( Wrestlemania 30)
Coming in at number thirteen is one of my personal favourite matches of the entire year, when Daniel Bryan finally got to step in the ring with Triple H at Wrestlemania 30. This was the opening match of the night and what a match it was to kick off an amazing pay per view. The crowd and pretty much everyone at home was backing Bryan and the crowd reactions were insane. The match was full of crazy executions of amazing moves, counter of counter, submission after submission and cover after cover. The addition of Stephanie McMahon at ringside made the match even more entertaining. Their was so much passion and character in the almost half an hour match up. The story was told throughout the entire time the two were in the ring and there was not a single moment you was able to take you're eyes off of the action.

12) Cesaro VS Sami Zayn ( NXT Arrival)
It's time for the another NXT match in the count down and this one comes in at number twelve . Now this is another match people are calling "match of the year" and it saw NXT fan favourite Sammi Zayn and one of my personal favourites of the year Cesaro. Now any NXT fan know's about the amazing rivalry these two have had and they have had some of the best matches in a very long time. This was another 2 out of 3 falls match and it took place at NXT Arrival. I was really late seeing this match because I'm from the UK but when I did finally get to watch it I really understood the hype around it and what everyone was talking about. They both were stand out's and regardless of the out come Sammi made a true name for himself that night and proved not only does he deserve to be in NXT but he deserves to be in the WWE full stop and everyone gained so much respect for him. Cesaro was on top during the match, he showed he's strength, diversity and some character. The crowd were fully into the match and it was a full action packed match were there was no loser. They BOTH did amazingly well and there was no weak one in the match.

11) Bray Wyatt VS John Cena ( Payback)
Finally at number eleven is the last man standing match between John Cena and Bray Wyatt at the Payback pay per view. During their feud Cena and Bray had many one one on one matches but it was this one that stood out for me. It was the one match in the feud I thought was amazing and really kept me glued to the TV. So much went on and with the addition of The Usos and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan you never knew where to look and the excitement and action was just none stop. I have to admit I hated hated the ending but everything else about the match I loved and I honestly think this was another one of Bray's stronger matches in he's career so far, he may not have picked up the win but he was the stand out in my opinion.

BONUS MATCH- Dean Ambrose VS Bray Wyatt (TLC)
As a little Christmas treat I have decided to add two bonus matches one to part one and the other to part two. These are not in any order so this match is not considered to be weaker than the one that
will be in part two. That probably sounds all confusing but let's not go into it. This match had to be in my bonus top 20 matches of the year, there was no question about it. As you all would of seen this past Sunday at the final pay per view of the year, two of the biggest most promising up coming stars main evented the final pay per view of the year, TLC. Both Dean Ambrose and Bray would complexly steal the show brining back some old school pure wrestling. It was barbaric, entertaining, solid and all round an amazing wrestling match up that cemented a strong, bright future for both the young stars.

Divas match of the year
