My Predictions for 2015

Hello everyone and welcome back to Talk Wrestling World and Happy New Year! So the last time I uploaded was back in late December when I was giving out my official of the year post witch saw me name Seth Rollins as my superstar of the year and the Survivor Series Team Cena VS Team Authority as match up witch of course was the main event for the penultimate pay per view of twenty fourteen. But we have now entered a new year and it's time to make our predictions for the up coming twelve months. As you can already tell from the title, today's post is a prediction post with a spin, as this time round I'm not going to predicting an episode of RAW or the latest pay per view, but I'm going to be listing what I think is to come in the new year and what I consider to be best for business. I have done a similar post on this about a month or two ago and it got a huge a response, I will make sure to lave the link to that post bellow so you can check it out if you haven't already done so. Today I will be brining up new topics and also addressing some of the topics I spoke about in that post only going into more detail. You can also let me know what YOU'RE predictions are for twenty fifteen by leaving a comment bellow in the comments section or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria.

It's more than safe to say that last year was a truly epic year in the WWE, a history making year even; with the debut of NXT superstars such as Paige, Bo Dallas and Emma, some of the biggest diva storyline's in recent years, the rise of the future talent, serious injuries and of course the much anticipated debut of the icon, Sting. All packing into a heck-tick twenty fourteen. However with so many amazing moments there was also much disappointment from the fans as the company failed to provide it's viewers with some of the most basic of needs. Most of you will already know that I have previously written up a post discussing some of the biggest mistakes of the year witch I of course will also leave a link too bellow. With so many small but vital mistakes being made last year it is vital that these next twelve months provide the best of the best. Today I'm going to be listing a thew little predictions of my own for the next year. Right, I think that's enough boring intro's for now, let's get into the post.

Living in the future...
The first topic of the day is entitled "Living in the future". This is something I really feel passionate about and over the past twelve months have really been speaking about both on my blog and on social media websites such as twitter. It's a topic that has caused great conversation and debut on online platforms and most importantly something that the WWE must address in the new year. It's more than evident that the future of the WWE is safe safe hands. With stars like Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami, Kevin Ownes and more, the upcoming years in the company looks to be brighter than ever, however what the WWE have shown over the past year is the little faith they have in that future. While the company have had many many opportunities in the past year to show off the future and show the fans that they are going in a new direction they have almost done the complete opposite. I will admit that the extra attention paid to NXT has been amazing and the developmental territory has actually turnt out to be the best current product the company have. However there have been multiple times the WWE have made minor errors. What they should be doing is embracing the future and although they have said the word "future" almost every single night and have focused storyline's around it the reality of it is there has been no actual sign of the future. A small example is the Erick Rowan/Big Show feud. This is something I personally feel really passionate about because I'm a huge fan of Rowan's; throughout the build up to their singles match at TLC last month they did well in making Rowan look strong and they manage to have him create a strong following and gave him bags of momentum heading into the match. However on the night they had him loose to Show and then the following night on RAW they had Show pin him once again. This made absolutely no sense what so ever. What's the point in building up your new talent to then have them loose a big match against a retiring veteran. This match was key in cemented a solid future for Rowan but yet they left him looking weak two night in a row. Even if the WWE don't have plan's on creating a main event star out of Rowan like it or not he is the future and the more they spend time on making old talent look good and weakening the new talent the less promising that future looks. There's also the case of feuds between new guys and veterans. It's clear that if a young upcoming talent has a feud with a top veteran such as Randy Orton or John Cena it will allow them to shine in the best way's possible. All you have to do is look at the work between Rollins and Cena last month to know that just having them go at it for four weeks was enough to build Rollins up that much more. However, not everyone is as lucky as Rollins. Now, don't get confused here, I love the idea of veterans and new talent feuding but when the older superstars are set to be victorious then what is the point? Once again it brings back that same point I just made, weakening the new talent now does no favours for later. It's important that in twenty fifteen the WWE spend more time on their upcoming talent. That mean's giving them just as much air time, main event time, promo and mic time. Not letting opportunities go to waste. It mean's putting stars like Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Adrian Neville, Erick Rowan and so many more in the same spotlight as guy's like Orton and Cena. This also applies to the commentary team. Yes, we have seen Tom start working on Smackdown but it's not enough. Baby steps are key this year but they have to happen. It's almost as if the WWE are scared to make major changes but they have to happen. The reality of it is, is Cena isn't gonna be around for ever to be the face of the company, it's about creating new top guys. Jerry, Cole and JBL aren't gonna be commentating forever and small changed need to happen. I spoke more about the commentary team in a previous post, the link to that will be bellow. If the WWE doesn't have and show faith in the future than why should the WWE universe?

Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns....
It's no secret that the WWE are extremely high on Roman Reigns. Over the past year has received a huge push despite being out of action for three months and the company have made it more than clear that he is to be the next huge baby face. This year we can more than expect to see Reigns shoved down our throats. He'll be main eventing pay per view after pay per view, countless episodes of Monday night RAW will focus around him and he will be place right at the top of the roster. I think we can all see him going on to win the Royal Rumble. My personal prediction is that he will win the Royal Rumble, go on to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania, win the title and then have Seth cash in on the night leading to the two feuding. This has been something I have been predicting for months
now and I do think it's pretty likely.

Total Divas....
Don't worry these are not my "Total divas predictions" all I mean by this is that I think we could be in for a change in the divas division. Over the past twelve months the NXT women's division has taken the WWE by storm! Providing us with some of the best divas matches the company has ever produced and even some of the best matches of the year. The female talent on the main roster however, has struggled to live up to the NXT work and the booking for them has been terrible. I will admit there has been some great improvements storyline wise and they are getting more air time but the actual wrestling is struggling and this year I do think the WWE will try and do better with their female talent. I do speak more about this in a whole separate post coming in the new year so look out for that post.

Brief Predictions....
-I personally think Seth Rollins is in for a crazy year. I one hundred per cent think he will hold the WWE World Heavyweight championship before the end of the year.
- I predict another huge year for the NXT roster, full of even better matches and live shows. Hopefully they will make the show a two hour weekly broadcast, it's highly requested amongst the fans and it would really help boost the show if it was a little longer, it will allow us to see more matches in one night and also have slightly longer ones to help storyline's.
- Debuts. I do think this year will see some huge debuts and the future really will shine and come to life. Superstars and divas likly to debut in 2014 include, the Ascension, Charlotte, Adrian Neville, Finn Balor, Bayley, Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn. Baron Corbin is also likely to arrive on the scene at the end of the year.
