Throughout the moth of December I am giving you my official of the year posts, this includes, superstar of the year, match of the year, diva of the year and many many more. Today we are crossing over to NXT and taking a look at my top five NXT superstars of the year. Some of these guys may feature in my top twenty superstars of the year, so there's a little hint for the upcoming post. None of these posts have been influenced by any of my readers and followers and are one hundred per cent based on my own opinions. You can however let me know ho your NXT superstar of the year is by leaving a comment bellow in the comments section or by tweeting me at @TezangiVictoria. I will also leave the links bellow to any recent posts so you can keep all up to date on everything. Right, lets get into the list.

5) Charlotte
Kicking off my top five NXT superstars is the current NXT women's champion Charlotte. Charlotte has had a hug journey this year. She has gone from being the third member of the Beautiful Fierce Females to being one of the most respect women in the locker room. She has not only been apart of some of the biggest divas match of the year but she has been apart of some of the best divas matches the WWE have ever seen. Her one on one match against WWE diva Natalya for the NXT women's championship back at NXT Takeover is being considered as one of the best matches of the year. It was the night she truly cemented a strong career for herself and made her mark in WWE as not just Ric Flairs daughter but Charlotte, a future hall of famer in her own right. From that pint onwards, she proved she was a worthy champion, never turning down a challenger. She was involved in yet another amazing match at NXT Takeover fatal four way were she defend the title against Bayley. Over the past twelve months she has grown so much and has developed a strong, unique connection with the fans and has clearly gotten more comfortable on the mic and with the performance side of the business. Charlotte has had a truly amazing year, and as  she is set to join the main roster in the new year, we can only predict she will have an even better 2015.

4) The Ascension
Up at number in my top five NXT superstars of the year is tag team the Ascension. This has truly been an epic year for Konnor and Viktor. They started out on a high and to be honest ended on a high. The WWE have had them doing some stuff towards the end of the year that has left me a little confused and not quite sure how I feel about it but the work has still be strong. They have been in some of the best tag team matches of the whole year. They have had sold so many of their merchandise, their following has gotten even bigger and they have gone on to cement a strong strong future for themselves. They became the longest reigning NXT tag team champions in history and had scooped up a win on WWE main event. They are currently feuding with two of the hottest upcoming starts and are set to hit the main roster in the next month or so.

3) Tyler Breeze
Up next is Tyler Breeze. When I was taking my notes, and looking back at all the action and note's I had jotted down over the past year, I wanted to make sure I had a couple of NXT superstars in the list, to really spice things up a little and also because the WWE's developmental centre has provided us with some of the best matches of the year and so it only made sense to put in some of the outstanding superstars that have stood out on the roster; when doing so there was one name that really stood out, that man of course was the prince of pretty himself, Tyler Breeze. Breeze has really took over NXT this year. Out of nowhere he came on our screens and was right at the top with the rosters best talent. Prior to this year most people had written Tyler off as one of those superstars who are all looks and character with no actual wrestling ability, however Breeze completely shut the mouths of the critics and proved he is more than a pretty face and is actually one of the most talented upcoming starts in the company. The creative team really did focus on Breeze this year and showing him off in the best way. He's character became more intresting and entertaining and there was simply more to do with him. He was apart of some the best matches of the year, this of course includes he's NXT Takeover one on one match against Sami Zayn; I'm sure most of yo will agree that this was an insane match and the true turning point for Tyler Breeze, this was the true moment we began to see Tyler as a serious wrestler and someone to actually take seriously. He was also apart of the huge fatal four way match at NXT Takeover two fatal four way witch a lot of people are calling the match of the year. The prince of pretty really did shine in this match and made he's mark in not just NXT but the WWE. He was apart of a great NXT tag team match on RAW and really got people talking. He has been apart of great feuds and major storyline's in NXT and has had great merchandise sales from he's t-shirt and phone case. This year Tyler Breeze is hands down one of the top superstars.

2) Sami Zayn
At number thirteen is  Mr Sami Zayn himself. This would of came to no surprise to any of you; I'm a huge fan of Zayn and I have been pretty vocal about it over the past twelve months to say the very least. I think this has been an outstanding year for Zayn and he has really come into himself. We all know he was one of the most over NXT superstars from the moment he was signed and he had an amazing year last year and managed to live up to the expectations in two thousand and fourteen. Zayn kicked off the year amazingly working a huge feud with Cesaro. Now I'm sure you have all seen the matches between the two but if you haven't then what you waiting for? Go and watch them right now! Zayn competed in the first NXT live show, NXT Arrival and competed in a two out of three falls match witch many are calling one of the matches of the year. At the third live show he was in another amazing match this time with Tyler Breeze. And at NXT Takeover fatal four way he was involved in one of the best matches of the year once again. He also managed to top the year off by wining the NXT championship at NXT Takeover R Evolution in one of the best matches of the year.

1) Adrian Neville
Finally it is the longest reining NXT champion  himself, Adrian Neville. I know some of you are going to think this is a little of a bias entry because he's from the UK but I promise it's now... sort of. This year, just like Breeze, Neville has took control of the developmental territory. Everyone knew what a huge signing he already was when he arrived in the WWE and so the expectations of him were set very very high, however Adrian has lived up to them extremely well. From the start of this year right to the end Neville has took over NXT being apart of some of the best matches of the year both on the NXT and WWE roster. Back at the first NXT live show, NXT Arrival, Neville participated in the first ever NXT ladder match when he went one on one with longest reining champ Bo Dallas for the championship. This was another of one of the best matches of the year in my opinion and Neville was hands down the stand out throughout. It was also bonus that he actually won and became the new NXT champion. He got an insane reaction from the crowd after what was a great build up and all round feud, this guaranteed an amazing year for Neville witch we would soon see. He would go on to be apart of the biggest storyline's in NXT throughout the whole year with the he's work with Tyson Kidd bringing out the best we had seen in him in he's whole time in the company. I'm sure you will all remember the outstanding match up between the two outstanding superstars at NXT Takeover. It was one of those matches that you remember forever and you tell you kids and grand kids about. At the third live show, NXT Takeover fatal four way, Neville was apart of a huge main event against Tyson Kidd, Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn and as I have already mentioned a lot of people are considering this to be the match of the year. Neville was insane in this match and all four guys stole the show. What I love also about this year is that we saw
many Tyson Kidd/Adrian Neville matches but not a single one was boring and I loved them all, witch is really rare. This year Neville proved to be one of the best high flyers the WWE has around, he is one of the best champions in the company, has a great future ahead and so much more.
